Online Dating Guide for Men: Part Deux

Unfortunately, the topics you discussed are all too real. In my line of work, they’re referred to as, “small d$icks, smaller intellect, and swelled heads”.
Is it any wonder the male human species is looked upon with disdain by their female counterparts!
I know I can never conscientiously do any of those 12 year-old actions and be taken seriously by any woman of any age.
I would look forward to a forum on how men should deal with the issues of subtleties and emotions as many men (myself included), are a subtle as a sledge hammer and as emotional as Spock from “Star Trek”.

people with mild disabilities-deserve relationships

What can anyone with a mature mind say? Why shouldn't anyone( As long as they behave maturely) deserve to be in a relationship? My understanding goes something like this....it wasn't that long ago that our parents and grandparents were raised to believe that individuals that didn't conform to society's rules were punished either by ostrasization or by being literally "put away" into some kind of institution such as jail, an asylum or some other kind of "home" for people that the rest of us just couldn't tolerate (Let's not forget that in Nazi Germany, these "undesirables" were sterilized forcibly until they were gassed with the Jews. Worse still ,that kind of thing took place here in Alberta until just over 30 years ago!
) The '60's made us realize that kind of thing was wrong but that s%&*ty attitude just went underground. Many of us still fear those who are different but also fear saying anything for being labelled a neo-nazi or something. The key to understanding any disablity is education and it must start in kindergarten or even sooner. I am still amazed at how with the something like the 'net with all the access to any kind of info available many choose ignorance. Childish!
People with any kind of living difficulties are every bit able to function just as well as anyone else. They just need the support of maybe meds, others with the disorder and a little more time and a slightly different way to learn and do things. The rest of society just needs a little more patience and understanding.

Hello to everyone in the Peace Country area of northern Alberta and northeastern BC!
I've just moved from Calgary up to GP(Grande Prairie) to find work as a trucker. If that doesn't put you off, checkout my profile. I know some of you will be interested in getting to know me after reading it.

Judging (accurately) by appearances!

Bambi75 doesn have some points. After all, if you dress like a slob, you're going to be judged to be one.
With that moot point being brought up, I must say that judging people's appearance in general can be the proverbial double edged sword. The "beautiful people" have a lot more pressure to suceed at everything whether at career, family, etc. When those people don't live up to the expectations, then other people think there's something wrong and that can be how rumours get started, it all sucks
.
As well, the "not so beautiful" people get dismissed as "losers" or "rejects" as they don't fit the part. The main thing we need to remember is, that looks can hide many things, bad as well as good.
Look at Scott Peterson, if any of us were to meet him for the first time before he was convicted of murder, we'd think that he was going places. Now of course, we know that the only place he's going is to Death Row in California.
On the other hand, if we met either Henry Ford or Thomas Edison back in their day, would we see them as "happening" people or just another couple of crackpots? Think about it the next time we judge someone, are we seeing all the picture or just what we want to see?
