Is It Possible To Become Gay?
Posted:
6/9/2008 5:40:45 AM
I think both views are correct. I think some people have always been gay, and others choose to be gay. Although its hard to believe one would choose to be gay in our society, with all the hate and that your family might disown you. A friend of mine recently came out and said that he had been hiding his feelings and pretending to be someone he wasn't to be accepted. He is very lucky that his family has chosen to accept him (Christian family), although they don't understand it. In your friend's situation, I don't think his bad experiences with women is a reason for him to become gay. I think he needs to be single for a while and sort things out.

Has anyone been brave enough to meet someone with no pic at all?
Posted:
6/9/2008 2:57:50 AM
Yes, I did once... We met in public and he had to find me cause I had no idea what he looked like. He wasn't the best-looking guy, but we had already talked on the phone a lot and I liked his personality. But it turns out he was just a fake, that or he just turned into a monster, lol. So I don't think I'd do that again. But it really doesn't matter if its a blind date or not, whether you've seen someone's picture has little to do with whether it will work out. But I prefer to see what someone looks like before I meet them, especially after that bad experience. Sounds like you've had good luck with online dating

My ex is on POF!!!
Posted:
6/9/2008 2:48:54 AM
It's terrible when people use POF to cheat... I think you should tell her, she needs to know what she's in for, even if she chooses not to believe you at least she'll have a warning. This guy sounds like complete scum
. I also dated a guy in the military, and after his 6 month deployment to Iraq he called me only to tell me he had a one night stand with a woman he met at a club. I actually think he was lying about that so I would break up with him, and I did. He surely didn't come back from Iraq as a better person... But your situation is worse, you were engaged, he broke his promise to marry you and lied to you. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I think its only right and just if you tell her. I'm sure she'll thank you for it someday

The Pay Dating Sites are a ripoff
Posted:
5/30/2007 4:23:22 AM
I agree....I've used other ones that disapointed me. On eharmony you can't see anyone's picture unless you subscribe and most people would only want to try it a month which is $59! I did signup during the free communication thing, but you can only send people pre-selected questions, no personal messages. Well, you get to pick 5 questions at a time of about 50. Some of the other ones I've tried were Match.com, True, Tickle, Singlesnet, Romantic Planet....many more. I never subscribed to any of them though. But I don't think you should have to pay to contact people. I think this is the best dating site, being that it has so many features, there are many people on this site, and it's free.

I floss daily using plackers (floss with a pick), it's more convenient. And of course I brush my tongue

Sex and Marriage
Posted:
5/27/2007 5:54:24 AM
Wow...No kissing until you're married? I don't see how anyone can do that. Kissing before marriage isn't a sin so I don't see why anyone would want to hold back. I think the physical connection is just as important as an emotional and spiritual connection, and kissing is a good way to test it
But it sounds like it's working out for people in your family, so maybe you should continue the tradition.
Good luck and God Bless!

What turns women on?

It's not the objects that do it (well, maybe for some!) But for me it's all in the person. A sexy smile, strong arms, good with their hands.....for example

The Perfect Match

...but with Boobs (Yay! Great bonus, lol)
If you are both weary about relationships, then you don't have to be in one together. Just start off by casual dating and getting to know each other better. You seem to be really into her, but it sounds like you're a bit unsure of how she feels about you. If she's still there when you return (and probably will) then she's a keeper. Both of you have nothing to lose, so give it a try and don't worry about defining the relationship, just have fun together :)

Rosie vs. Elisabeth
Posted:
5/27/2007 12:58:54 AM
Rosie's question was ignorant, sounds like she's saying Americans are the terrorists. I've seen the clips of their arguement on the news as well (there's no way I'd watch the view). I used to like her when she had her own show and she was the "Queen of Nice" but that has changed. One of the reasons she decided to come out publicly is because she was sick of fame and wanted out of the spotlight for a while. Of course now she's back and seems to be loving the attention. She hates republicans and conservatives because she feels all of them are against her (and of course most are). It's better off that Rosie left the view. Maybe her and Donald Trump can do a show together, lol

I LOVE you......I'm just not IN LOVE with you...
Posted:
5/27/2007 12:12:47 AM
People change, as well as their feelings. It means that though they care for you, they are not ready to commit or have met someone else they feel more compatible with. If anyone ever tells you that, it's not because of anything you did or didn't do....it's just them. It could also be related to an emotional or mental crisis they are dealing with and feel the need to be alone.

what makes a women cheat?
Posted:

I agree with Insanity199....it is a selfish act. Some women (as well as men) just can't be satisfied...always looking for more. So women cheat for the same reasons as men do. Of course I do find it hard to understand exactly why anyone would want to do that....

Interracial Dating
Posted:
10/25/2006 12:34:08 PM
Some people believe that interracial marriages are prohibited in the Scriptures. Often they will argue that marriage with foreigners (implying people both of different culture and color) was prohibited throughout the Old Testament. Actually, the prohibitions were not strictly against Jewish-Gentile marriages as racial mixture, but against believer-unbeliever marriages (Deuteronomy 7:3).
Solomon was judged for marrying, not simply foreign women, but foreign women who believed in false gods. In fact, in the Old Testament provisions were made for Gentiles to convert to Judaism (Exodus 12:48, 49).
Some may say that the New Testament prohibits being unequally yoked. Therefore, people of different races shouldn't marry. The passage being referred to is 2 Corinthians 6:14. This is where the apostle Paul rhetorically asks, "What fellowship hath light with darkness?" In accordance with the Old Testament teaching, Paul is simply prohibiting believers from intimate fellowship with unbelievers. The context speaks nothing of skin color.
There is no prohibition against interracial marriages in the Bible. God's plan of salvation includes people from every nation, tribe, people and language.

Liberalist Tree Hugger!!!!

I'm not republican or democrat either. I don't think either side has the solution to our problems. I do believe sometimes war is necessary, although it saddens me deeply. I wouldn't be brave enough to fight in a war, and I have so much respect for those who do. I would never insult our President, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. But does anyone really think they could do the job better? You may "think" you could, but it's one of the most difficult jobs because you'll never be able to please everyone.

What you believe has nothing to do with intelligence! Some people don't want to believe there is anything out there greater than themselves. But I choose to believe that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me no matter what. Anyone who believes that makes me less intelligent is ignorant themselves. Just like I respect those who don't belief in anything....even though I don't understand it, and I'll gladly share my point of view. But it's your choice, and whether you want to believe that there's nothing better than this world....that this is it or if you choose to believe that the best has yet to come.

What is a Soul?

The part of you that can never die. It's also your spiritual side, but if you don't believe in anything you probably won't use it very much. It's hard to describe what a soul is, but I think it's the part of everyone that is good.

What is Wrong with Nudity?
Posted:

Nudity is beautiful and natural....but it's pretty sacred. And think of what would happen to the clothing industry if we all ditched our clothes...hehe.
Good question though...but it's just how our society is. They don't want everyone to let everything hang out, lol.

Interracial Dating

God created us all races, and there has been interracial dating and marriages since the beginning of time. But there are still many out there who think it's wrong...especially around here in small towns. It's pure ignorance. It's your choice of who you want to be with.

He is exactly 6'1", works in an office, and weighs 180 pounds now....that's just freaky! He was a pretty average guy
But I must have seen something in him that no one else did, a lot of people thought he was gay or something!

Yes! Once when I was 18... I met up with a guy for a date, we had talked on the phone and the net for about a month. He saw my pics but I never saw his. I didnt know who I was looking for so I had to wait for him to come up to me. We still hit it off well in person and dated a few months, but he was in the military so that complicated things. It was an okay experience...lol.

I don't know what's wrong with him....but it's definately not you...it's all him! Guys can be like that sometime, kinda flaky or elusive. Ask him what his deal is...although he might try to avoid it, by making lames excuses or saying he's sorry, then ignoring you again. He probably doesn't know what the heck he wants!

I hate guys that are so desperate they try to maul you on the 1st date! I don't have a specific time limit, doing that will probably make you a hypocrite. You have to stick with your values, morals, and feelings

Animals know when there's going to be a natural disaster. So using their 6th sense, they got on the boat....animals aren't stupid! People should listen and prepare when they hear a flood is about to come. And Noah told everyone what he was doing, but they just laughed. But they weren't laughing when it came true and the door was already locked shut to the ark.

Yeah, right after a breakup with a guy I dated for 2 years. I wished it for a day, but then I realized I should never wish that on anyone. He broke up with me for no real reason, but then started dating another chick 2 months later! She got pregnant, they got married and they have a daughter now. But get this, he keeps emailing and IMing me! But I won't speak to him
