You didn't take into account something that she might
This is my whole point. Suprise me..... as long as its something that I like. She didnt phrase it that way, her whole point was she was sick of boring guys who just take her to dinner...she wanted something different...

How to tell a woman to start paying for part of the date

Did she ever mention that she liked playing baseball? I enjoy the sport, but can't play for $hit so if someone put me on the spot like that I wouldn't be too thrilled either-
she told me she was bored of men who come up with just "dinner" she said she wanted to be "suprised" (her exact words)...so with that said I took her to the batting cages. I will admit I love the batting cages, I have played baseball and softball all my life. She struggled with hitting the ball, was trying to teach her, we had fun(at least I thought)
What she should have said was ...."go ahead and make plans, suprise me, but make sure you read my mind and make sure I like it"

is there a tasteful way of bringing this subject up without coming across like a cheapskate?
dead on...it will come across as tacky no matter what. Women will come to one of two ideas...
1. Your cheap
2. Your broke
I was once told by a women "I dont need money spent on me to have a good time, im not that type of girl, I just want a guy to suprise me on a date..you know..something different"...
I took her to the batting cages on a first "date". I left her two messages after the date..nothing. She finally sent me a text saying the following...."You honestly expect a women to call you back after taking her to batting cages on a first date?"...I give up...

It will increase the excitement of the actual game and eliminate luck from a coin toss.
or just play defense and stop them.
Last I checked (coach speak) offense, defense and special teams. If you lose the coin toss, PLAY DEFENSE...

darn you still in 2009 get the high paid jobs than women an paid more because your male so time too show us da money an stop crying around about it
I dont think any guy is crying about anything. I am just saying its very easy for any women to just say "men SHOULD pay", when they DONT have to pay.
I have said this over and over again. I have NO problem paying for dates, and I take care of the first couple, no biggie. I am just saying that guys take the finacial burden when it comes to dating. Its not cheap for us. Some women dont get that and expect to be taken out and paid for all the time.
If your a women and claim that men should pay the first couple dates, then just be honest, thats a pretty sweet deal if you think about it. If multiple men take you out a couple times a month and pay everytime, then you are out NOTHING. While the men who take you out are out some money, again..there choice so its not a big deal.
With that said, women have it easier dating when it comes to the finacial side of dating. Its a double edge sword for men. We take out women the first couple times trying to impress them. Then it starts to hit us in the wallet, so we suggest alternative things that dont cost as much and all of a sudden we are not romantic anymore. "He used to take me out to romantic dinners, we dont do that anymore"..
Im a normal guy, I make normal money. I will take out women for dates and pay. It comes to a point for me where I have to find out if she is somewhat serious about me, or if we are just "hanging out" and im in the friend zone.
Lets be real here, Im not going to wait for 3 or 4 months paying for everything waiting for her to decide if im the one she wants to be with....that just doesnt make any sense for me...

Once a couple gets to know one another thats another story.
and this is where the gray area is. If your dating a women for lets say three months. Are you saying the man should pay every single time, while the women pays nothing?
Thats a pretty sweet deal if your the women.
I have NO problem paying for a women. It comes to a certain point though where one of two things will happen.
I either ask her for alternatives for dating. Staying in and cooking dinner, renting movies, all you can eat buffets...etc. OR..she can offer to pay some of the bill when going out.
This is only after realizing if you ARE in a relationship. If the women is going out with other men, and you keep on paying, along with other men, where does that leave you? Do you continue to pay for her? This is until SHE decides that she wants a relationship?
Yes, men should pay the first couple times, even three or four times. After that the men must decide if it is going anywhere, or is she is just a "friend"

I'm thinking that you're really not into her so much and are looking for excuses.
this reeks of the princess attitude...."if he doesnt pay for you, he doesnt like you"
if you can't afford to date, then don't date.
this means so much to so many different people. Some women consider 2 nights out a week "dating". For a NORMAL dude like myself who makes enough to survive in this bad economy, eventually it would hit me in the wallet. Now, If I told her..."look, 2 nights out to dinner is putting a dent in my checkbook"...does that make me "cant afford to date?"
Its VERY easy for a women to say "if you cant afford to date..then dont". When generally men pay a lot more than women.
whenever I hear "if you liked her, you wouldnt mind paying for her"...if that is the case, then I can say the same thing back but with a different tone...
"if she liked you, she would sleep with you"...now...tell me what is the difference between the two statements?...nothing...

Finding Out How Interested He Is...And Why

I exchanged with a guy on here over 100 emails, several phone calls this past week. [/qutoe]
really ?...100?...I think your embellishing a little bit, but if after 3 emails we have not made plans to meet, I give up.
We are not on here to exchange emails over weeks and months to never meet, defeats the purpose of being here..
My mom once told me women are ver easy to understand if you follow two steps...
A. A women is always right
B. If a women is wrong....go back to A

I think most men if they like a women will pay, its no biggie to us. Its not cheap to date, and I think men and women can both agree that the men take the end of paying for most dates when you start dating.
Im almost postive that I have been taken for a couple free dinners in my time. It happens. I just try to catch it before it happens more than a couple times thats all. If I date a women more than three times, and she has not at least offered to pay for the tip, or go dutch, then I probably will be turned off by it. Its not even that I would make her pay, but its nice to here the offer, and I think thats what most men would like.
Its very easy for women to say "whoever asks should pay", which I agree with. Lets be honest here, the men do MOST of the asking, that is just fact. Men will probably ask the first couple times.
Most men understand they will be paying for the first couple dates, I think all men are asking is that you offer to take care of the tip, or just say "hey..next one is on me", puts us at ease...

You have past the 4 date rule...here you go...
If your "dating" a female and after 4 dates she has not at the very least offered to pay for the tip, or some of the bill, then it may be time to hit the road. Unless of course you like paying all the time and your trying to show it off. Then you really cant blame the women for sticking around and getting free dinners all the time....

and for a couple weeks things were quite slow, conversation remained over the POF messaging system,
After two emails back and forth, Im asking her to meet in a public place for coffee, or whatever. Not even a date, just a meet. This elimanates flakey females who feel its necessary to email for weeks on end before meeting someone.

We just want you to finish what you started.
finish what?...ITS A FIRST DATE!!!!..what does he owe her?
had a great time,
I have went on dates and had a great time, but knew I would NEVER see that person again.
also..we are hearing HER side of the story, I have gone on dates and had a good time. I thought she did too, only for me to call her and never hear from her again. It happens. Put your big girl pants on and MOVE ON...
you men want to automatically assume she's ready for marriage or that she's needy or infatuated.
I just dont understand how some women put so much stock into a first date. I have had conversations with women on the phone, decided to meet, and I got stood up(happened twice)....I pick myself up, and get over it. I could call her and ask her "why did you stand me up"...but...does it matter?...is it gonna make her meet me again?...will she tell me the truth?...
I could understand if they went out even a few times. Its ONE and the FIRST date....GET OVER IT....

Men should just let women know how they're feeling. It's not fair to get our hopes up and then disappear like a thief in the night.
Its a fricking first date for goodness sake. Its not like they were married for 20 years and then decided to leave and never come back.
What does he owe you?....ITS A FIRST DATE.
He didnt feel what you did, my goodness, all this over a first date?...what were you hoping for?...so he said he would take you places, so he said he might call you, he didnt...get over it...
I hate to see you after two dates, do you make them commit to a date for marriage?
You and him invested nothing but a few hours of a night for a date...GET OVER IT...
Typical for you to place the blame on the woman.
not blaming anybody...ITS A FIRST DATE...GET OVER IT....

Men are visual. You have to give him something to visualize.
Send him a text message or whisper in his ear. "I want you inside me"
we do get hints you just have to make your self availble.
Sitting on his lap is just playing around, might mean something to some guys I dont know. I would rather a girl be aggresive, make me feel like she cant live another second until I have sex with her.
I dont know how your dude is wired, so its tough to answer. Im pretty sure all men are visual though, and if you give him something in his "head" to visualize it might help...
good luck

what advise i give my friend
Posted:

we are getting this story from your point of view, so I think it may be a little skewed. but in any event...
Why did she have to text 13 times? Was he not answering? Or was she texting "are you sure?" 13 times, then yes, it would annoy me.
It looks like he gets mad at petty things from your story anyway.
Tell your friend get away from gamblers. They are dangerous because they are losers. The Casino is not open for people to make money but to lose money.
wow, this is a big assumption. So from that story you have come away with he was losing money at a casino? Thats why he was mad?
I go to casinos and play poker about 3 times a month. If I had a g/f and she knew I was in the middle of a poker game and wanted to come and see me it would be no big deal. I would also tell her that I really couldnt visit with her while im playing, and she just might be bored out of her mind. Which maybe this guy was trying to tell her. I dont know, we are only getting one side of the story.
If the dude gets mad over petty stuff like coffee not being made, then he has bigger issues than losing money at a casino(IF that is what happended)

Elway got 1 in his last year
Elway was winning playoff games, Romo hasnt won anything but regular season games.
I really dont think people would knock on Romo if he would just win ONE playoff game. I actually think he is a good qb. He just vanishes in jan...thats all...
It doesnt help that he has one of the worst coaches in Wade Phillips, along with one of the most overhyped, overrated o-cord in Garret....Do cowboy fans really want Garret as there next head coach?...really?...

I am a very picky and selective person as to who I give out my number to.
The men you give your number too are being picky and selective also. They are not choosing to call you cause they found someone better than you.....

Some one said 'Belichick had no confidence in Pats defense, that's why he went for 4th and 2, he didn't want to give the ball to Manning'.
are you for real?
As I said before, if he had THAT much confidence in his defense then why punt at all?..why not just make your punter inactive and just go for it all the time? He did it to send a message. He knew he controlled that game for about 58 minutes, he wanted to send a message, didnt work. If you punt the ball and manning goes 80 yards on you, then all is said is...you got beat by the best player in the nfl....
There is NO WAY he does that in a playoff game. So to think that he would do it all the time is just plain stupid.
Manning (who acts like a deer caught in headlights under a good defensive pressure)
So did Elway, so did Brady, So did Montana, you act like manning is the only qb in history to have trouble when you put pressure on him. Need I remind you of a superbowl a couple years ago when a certain Brady was pressured the entire game?...
If he makes the call fine. What puzzled me more than the call is that he didnt even throw it to one of the most feared recievers in the league in moss...or one of the bigger playmakers after a catch in welker...

Art Modell has to take some of the blame. He isnt the victim here. It was known that Art Modell wasnt very good with money. He was broke. He had to borrow money to pay off Andre Rison signing bonus.
I dont blame the guy for moving, but to say that art modell has none of the blame is wrong.
He deserves a lot of the blame...

How do you keep Peyton Manning from beating you? You keep Peyton Manning off the field.
If this is your logic I can live with it. Then you should just go for it on every fourth down. Dont even bring a punter into the game.
I could even understand going for it if your beyond your own 40, for goodness sake it was there own 30..
The pats defense was playing well, I know its manning, but you have to make him earn it.
There is no way he makes that call in a playoff game.

Im with you steel, I mean if your afraid to give the ball to manning then you might as well just go for it every 4th down.
Manning is great, and yes driving 80 yards with 2 timeouts and the two minute warning...manning can do that in his sleep, but you STILL have to make him earn it.

Manning was in a position to score unless the Pats get the first down, the yardage was irrelevant.
If your going to play "manning was gonna score anyway", then why even have a punter for the game?....why not just go for it every fourth down to play keep away from manning?
It was a bad call...punt and make manning go 80 on your defense. billicheck is saying that he has no confidence in his defense..plain and simple...

What do guys think DATING means?!!
Posted:
11/16/2009 2:40:31 PM
another man bashing post, she doesnt even know it. Its the typical.."all guys just want sex"...here we go...
In my experience a lot of guys think dating means : smutty texting for a few days, meet for a drink, get in the back seat and get funky.
If your a female and recieving "smutty texting" and THEN decide to meet for a drink, then you have no one to blame but yourself. If a guy is pressuring you for sex, then dont talk to him anymore, its really that simple...
I am stunned that so many guys don't know the difference between a quick bounce and a date.
I have dated women for three months and had sex with them. I have also had sex on the first date and dated for three months. I go to a date and the only thing I hope for is that she shows up. Other than that I dont expect much. If I get a kiss, so be it. If she rubs my privates, so be it. If all we do is talk, so be it. If she pulls down her pants and starts to rub herself, so be it.
Men are on here to meet women, date, and have sex with them. THATS IT. We dont want to be your friend, We dont want to email you for a month before you decide to meet us, we are here to meet women.

again, billicheck has forgotton more football than i will ever know. I really cant question him. I understand you dont want to give the ball back to manning, but you have to make him earn it.
Even if they would have punted, they still might have lost. As I said, if Manning goes 80 yards on you in 2 minutes..ok fine, you got beat by one of the best..you tip your hat and move on...

Sunday was a perfect example. I thought they would lose, green bay season was on the line. I just dont trust the cowboys, they have burned me before(in the wallet)...I should have known that Wade Phillips could be outcoached by a pee wee football coach...

I agree to a point steel. If you punt the ball and manning goes 80 yards and beats you, well you cant really be suprised. Its manning, he is the best in the biz, he will go 80 yards on any defense. When you put manning on a short field, your just asking to lose. I just didnt like the play call, I also didnt like where they did it. It wasnt like they had crossed the 50, or even there own 40, for goodness sake they were on the 30.
billiecheck has three rings, who am I to question him. Im just saying if you poll all the hall of fame coaches ever to coach, im pretty sure 99% of them would say "punt"...
Billiecheck gets a little benefit of the doubt. Lets be honest, if this had been Mangini, or Wade phillips the media would be killing them right now as a horrible call. Because its billicheck its "gutsy"

If you punt and manning goes 80 yards in two minutes, then hey, you got beat by the best qb in the biz. When you give manning a very short field, then your just plain stupid.
I dont understand how a coach that has three supebowls under his belt makes such a bad call. I really dont understand how you dont throw to moss or welker either. As I said, that play call cost the pats home field throughout the playoffs. Now they probably have to go back to indy and beat them in the playoffs.

I think it was a h0rrible call. I think it was bad that they threw to kevin faulk when you have wes welker and randy moss.
Billicheck wanted to send a message. His arrogance backfired on him. His arrogance cost him home field throughout the playoffs.

the chargers have won 4 in a row. the broncos have lost 3 in a row, with the defense giving up over 100 points in the last 4 games, what are your thoughts.
do you think the broncos will win?
I really dont know Hd...I wish I could give you an answer. If the team that showed up in the second half of the pats and cowboys game?...yes...if its the team that showed up the last three weeks?...no...
If we win next week that makes it a season sweep, and still 2 games against kc, and one against the raiders....
Coach Mcdaniels better have this team ready, must win if there ever was one...

My personal favorite was the pass from the punter to the fullback.
the worst part is they wanted to run th play, started going in motion to run and called timeout. Then came back in the same formation and ran the same play before they called timeout...ug....
The broncos really needed this game. As I said, next week decides afc west plain and simple...

Next time around the Patriots will easily crush the Broncos.
Next time?...is this your best comeback?...
You should be more worried we shut brady out for an entire half...You should also be worried that brady got outplayed for one game by orton...
20-17....

Why do guys chase after girls that are not available?
Posted:

It's not a pick up joint.
you just told us how guys hit on you there. So GUYS must think it is, as you dont.
I tell them they're wasting their time on me yet they still persist?
because a guy sees you at a dance club without your boyfriend, they automatically think your unhappy, if you keep going without him and they see you every week, it just makes them think even more your not happy. You have to realize guys dont go to dance clubs to "dance" they go to pick up chicks...plain and simple...
Im not saying your doing anything wrong. I just get annoyed by women who frequent dance clubs and are so shocked that men would hit on them and persue them time after time. They DONT CARE that you have a boyfriend, when you show up every week without him, it just fuels there fire even more...
You also said "what would it mean if I kissed them back?"...uh...it means your a cheater.
again...stop playing the victim card..you go to dance clubs and get hit on..thats what happens...boyfriend or not....

I go out dancing a lot, so meet a lot of guys that way. Many of the regular crowd have turned into great friends.
newsflash...these guys that you "meet" ina dance club are NOT your friends, they are just guys that want to bang you if given the chance....
Now I don't mind going out as friends,
are you for real?..you really cant be...They are going out with you as "friends" to try and get in your pants, plain and simple. The more you "hang out" with them the more chance they think they have.
One of them told me that since I'm not married yet, I'm still fair game,
and yet you consider them "friends"....
[quote[Now what I want to know though is that if I was to lower my defences and allow the guy to kiss me and also kiss him back. What would it mean?
it means your a cheater.
If you want to go out to nightclubs, dance clubs, meat markets and so on you have to realize your going to get hit on. Thats the MAIN reason guys go there. We also assume that every girl in there is there to MEET men, and you really cant blame us for thinking that way. So when a guy hears..."I have a boyfriend, he never comes with me"...it automatically clicks in our head that you are unhappy.
Stop playing the victim card, you go out to meat markets and get hit on, thats what men do.....

The skins lost to the chiefs, and lions, some of the worst defenses in the league. I just want to know how the redskins are gonna score on the Broncos...
The broncos could score 10 points and it just might be enough

I usually dont bet NFL, the money is made in college. Vegas cant watch every college team, if you do your research you can make some real money on college football, BUT, there are three games I really like this week for some cash..
pack getting three at home
rams getting 14.5 on the road
dolphins giving 10 t0 the bucs at home, this might be the biggest steal of the centrury. Bucs just won last week, phins lost to the pats, phins coming home and need a win, bucs dont..this game has blowout written all over it...
Im telling you cowboy fans, the pack might just win outright this week....

I also love me some rams getting 14.5 at the saints...Jackson of the rams is the best running back that nobody knows about...

Similar energy levels in general and of course, that means sex, too.
Younger men and older women are NATURALLY very compatible
this is a new one...Naturally..really?...so is it natural for me to want to bang a 19 year old?
Please state your source where it states that older women have the same energy levels as younger men.
Are you saying that me, a 37 year old man cant have the same energy level as lets say a 24 year old?...OR, I dont have the same energy level as a 37 year old woman?
look...EVERYONE has one thing in common, and that is sex. Would I like to bang a 23 year old chick?...of course I would...would I have a LTR with her?..probably not.
