I got a question thats troubling me why is it girls block someone after one responce, the other day i sent a responce to someone nothing vulgar just expressed an interest and shared some of my interest that we have in common, next thing i know im blocked, come on people at least give someone the benefit of the doubt before blocking them,they had the coutsey of responidng to you at least have the courtsey of responding back even if its to say thanks but no thanks then if the person becomes violent or abusive in e-mails block him and report them, if your gonna be that shallow and rude why bother posting a personal [Topic gets done every other day. its just not guys i also have been on the recieiving end of heart breaks and im sure i have broken one or 2 in my day, back when i was younger, I think alot of the heart breakers are still searching for something that they dont know what it is, they dont know what they want they think they do at the time but as they get older they realise what they had then was pretty good thing oh to go back and corect those mistakes, anyway thats my 2 cents worth

I got a question, how do you escape those haunting memories that keep reoccuring. let me explain im 38 back over the years i have several girl friends was even married, and with all the girlfriends there is one I cant seem to let go, I move on and I know if we had stayed together it would never have lasted she has a better life and i have moved but every now and then ill have a dream, hear a song and those memories come back and the hurt is as real as it was almost 20 years ago, what happen is her mother found out we were haveing sex it was the 80's and her mom broke us up on homecoming night i still remember the day Nov 1 1985, and a few months later her mother took her out of school, they were several times we would meet again but certain obsticals always prevented us from getting back together. there was a time when I thought i was free the memories were gone for several years, but recently I have been haveing dreams about this girl, So how do you escape these memorys and why am I haveing them any thoughts?

I thought od something i ment to add regarding bush I am not a bush fan, but one of the biggest complaint is that he Lied about iraq haveing wepons of mass destruction, but lets go back 60 some odd years Dec 7 1941, before that the american populace wasnt concerned abotu the war We knew the evils hitler was doing, but it was in europe it didnt concern us, Roosevelt knew he had to get the US in the War, one we were still suffering from the great depression, and he knew it wouldnt be long before hitler turned his sites on the US, so isnt it ironic 1. the emperior of Japan was in washington when the attack happend 2. the american fleet were withdrawn from pearl Harbor before the attack 3. the ships left were positioned so they could be brought back up if sank 4. NO HIGH Ranking offical could be reached 5. we had enough warning that attack was coming but the threat was ignored Lets look at Ronald he did one Lie or said a joke which nearly brought us to ww3 when he said on a open mike ""the missle are on there the great communist empire is going to fall"" or something like that but instead of going to war it ended the cold war SO lets look at what bush did He saw a threat in saddam hussain,(if we could go back when hitler started his campaigne before the jews were persecuted and stop him would you) bush did Bush comes under scrunity because when the twin towers were attacked he Nodded and kept on reading, but if you think about where was bush? in a KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM, what would have happend if he panicked and rushed out you would have a class full of 5 year olds scared ot death, but he kept his cool finished his story then excused him self, when dealing with children you have to act differently Now i am not a bush fan We did our job in iraq, time to pull out,this is the highest gas prices have been ever, he was very slowed to respond to katrina(not to be comapred to him being slow on sept 11 big difference sept 11 in a class of Kindergarteners during katrina playing golf so Yeah bush has screwed up he had some of the right ideas he just handled it baddly

If mygirl friend mentioned she still had feelings for ex, id listen to her find out what brought it up was there a song, did i do something communicate with her, If we all think about we still have deep feelings for our ex's and I dont care who you are, you will hear a song on the radio or see something that makes you think and those old feelings start to stir now if she acted on it yeah id be upset, but theres a difference thinking of ex and getting together with an ex two different things but best thing to do is Listen to her, find out what the guy did to loose her that way you dont make the same mistake and you can re-assure her

It could be one of a few things, One He really likes you but is unsure if hes ready to be a family, it can be scary for a guy and he wants to take things slower to make sure its right,because if you were to rush into it and things dont work out there are not just two people getting hurt but four, how are the children going to feel they get attached and hes gone there not going to understand why, so i dont think its a brush off just take things slower with him

I just read the part about what does homosexuality need to be excepted. Here is my question go back 1500-1800 years ago back in the days where if you were a christian you were an outcast,why should christianity have been accepted it went agaisnt the Roman Govt, just like homosexuality seems to be going agaisnt our goverment( not saying there are no supporters because there are) but if you look through out history Homosexuaity has been around for centurys alot longer then christianity. Here is a history question for you, Why did the Pilgrims leave Holland to come to the new world? WHy because they were tired of the dutch emposing there moralistic beleives apon them, this country was founded apon seperation of church and state so the church could not have THE POWER it did in europe, The inquestions ring a bell, but now these right wing liberals are trying to give back the power to the church by condeming things they veiw as immoral,but who are they to judge what is and what isnt, and as for quoting the bible, or saying god made rules, No god did not make rules the catholics did. They are the ones who put the bible we accept today together how many books were left out? but thats a whole nother can of worms, As for me Im wiccan I follow the goddess Aphrodiety, goddess of love, so my veiw is this TRUE LOVE should not no race,sex or age(between consenting adults, Now that doesnt mean its ok for a older man or woman being in love with a child thats peversion and lust) but if two people are happy wether its a black man and white woman, or a black woamn and white man or two woman or two men etc As long as they are Happy and in love who bussiness is it. To quote the bible peace love and hope are some good things he gave us but the greatest is love, So how can it be wrong, and lastly remember Judge not lest Ye be judged

FishBill yeah I did and it worked out and when I posted this thread it wasnt cause no one was responding to my personal im getting responces now,but when i started this thread i was refearing to the shallowness of alot of posts on this forum not just cause people wearnt responding to my e-mails but i was seeing alot of hurtful stuff and i can sit by and not saying something, so the thread was a general observation having nothing to do with me

I dont think its the over analysing love and the such thats killing love and romance it is todays society, todays soceity has become so obsessed about having sex that perversion and lust take presedence, look at the movies the comercials the magazine adds they all show these super hunks or these gourgages females. Plus we live in a 26 hour a day world we need to get things done NOW, so the small little things that make up romance and love get thrown to the way side, think when was the last time you actrualy atched a sunset with out looking at your watch and said its getting late?

I say before giving him another chance, plan the date a little better tell him you want his cell phone and instead of meeting at a drive in pick a restraunt and a time, this way if he has an emergencey he wont have an excuse to call and same goes for you if something comes up he wont be thinking your a vindicitive B***** and also let him know up front that if it happens again with no phone call etc emergency or NO it will be the last time

Are they any men who arnt looking for sex? actrualy there are a few not many because most are to immature and think with the wrong part of the body,they havent learned that there is more to a relationship then just sex.As most guys get older we find that sex isnt the basis for everything,does that mean we will say NO if the oppertunity presents itself, probaly not, beleive it or not right now im not looking for sex im looking for compaionship, and romance, sex would just be the bonus if it happens if it doesnt no big deal that jsut my opinion and no im not lieing

I dont think Woman are the weaker sex its Just unfortutinly the way soceity in the past has labled them you always see the hero rescueing the damsil in distress,we are coming out of the dark ages and woman are showing that they are indeed strong and can compete with a man, we are seeing more and more heroins, buffy, lara croft electra etc and I hate to admit most guys are intimidated by a strong willed woman it hurts our ego because of how we were raised but that will change in the next couple of generations its just that this generation now is going to have the hardest time dealin gwith it just my 2 cents

I have seen alot of profiles that say im looking for an honest caring man etc etc to have fun with etc and nothing else so I respond to whats in the profile and i dont get a responce back ladies and gentlemen if you have certain restrictions on guys or girls your interested in put in your profile then the wrong ones wont contact you, I have seen profiles were they say over certain age dont contact me or looks arnt important and thats cool because its honest. I notice POF has a a mail setting where you can limit the ones who cant e-mail you, to be honest it wopuld save alot of us the trouble of responding and save you the trouble of haveing to delete or not respond to the ones your not interested in
