Men don't like TALL women

"Men don't like tall women"

Uhhh.... REAL men do! I don't care how tall a man is, and he shouldn't care how tall I am; as long as we are attracted to one another, height is just another attribute to embrace. I am 5' 10 1/2", so that puts me at around 6' 2" with rockin' heels on. I notice how short(er) guys will not look at me in the face as we pass in a store or social function, and it appears that they are put off by my height. I don't ask them about it, because I figure they are already uncomfortable in that scenario.

I will tell you that I LOVE being this height, and if I had my druthers, I'd be 6' 2" flat-footed! I enjoy the ability to see farther, gain a pound or two and not be crying and swearing off all that I love to eat. I enjoy being secure in my humanity, in my being, in my presence, and in my world of stares by others that cannot imagine that their genetics would not ever produce such a statuesque facsimile of themselves without growth hormones.

Ultimately, it is human nature for people to stop and gawk at people who are different from themselves. What I find curious is that, in this age and culture, that "men" maintain some preconceived idea that women should be weak and small. Believe me, if Nature had her way, as opposed to manmade remedies for deadly illnesses, it is very possible that tall would be the norm, and not simply for males of the species.

I cannot speak for short men (the average American male is 5' 9"), but I can tell you that, as a tall woman, I have been approached by men of varying heights who took no issue with my ability to treat them as artfully and sensually as any average-height woman. In essence, a woman's height has absolutely nothing to do with anything except a guy's puny ego.

Valentine Party~Feb 14, 09 ~ The Dawg House ~ 7:30 pm to 2:00 a.m.~ Terre Haute, IN

Sweetest of All Roses (CeCe, correct?),

You are such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I hope to see/meet you at the Valentine's Day party. School and work seem to keep me from venturing out beyond that required for sustenance, but your parties appears to be worth breaking the routine...

Also, you mentioned a WHIP (again), and that gave me added motivation!

Non-smoking Party

Non-smoking is the way to go for non-smokers; there is no reasonable argument against it. Smokers do not understand how offensive it is for nonsmokers to even be NEAR a smoker, as the smell of dirty ashtrays is NOT what attracts us to social events, nor to persons we may be interested in for personal relationships.

You may call it prejudice, or you may call it preference. Either way, it is each person's right to choose where they would like to potentially meet others. POF is a venue for social interaction, and if people choose to appeal to a specific group, wherein lies the harm? If you are a smoker, and you would like to attend, then keep your deadly habits to yourself and go. Just don't be offended by someone when they ask what that smell is and where it is coming from!

I fight for my freedoms in this country. I proudly express here my opinion that choice is good for everyone, even non-smokers.

So, Tony, when and where???

We NEED a bull ship for all of the BULL here!

Leota, I remember you from the last T.H. shindig; your shoes were on the table, and you were all over the place...

If I am not too tired from Drill on Saturday, I may stop in to take a few pics, so keep your makeup fresh for the camera! If you have to sweat it all off before I get there, I'll see about getting the bull WHIP out for a few lashes -- just to get the rosy glow back into your cheeks!

"Which cheeks?" you ask? I'll never tell!!!

Aesop --

I bought a bull whip while in Kuwait. Would that work for you? There may not be enough leashes for this event...

Keyhead, you can find vanilla vodka at any quality liquor store. I recently saw it in CVC, and I have seen it in other drug/convenient stores. Absolut is the way to go!
