Obsessive thinking
Posted: 3/1/2009 8:45:38 PM
I get fairly easily distracted as it is, but I was wondering if anyone else has the issue where they feel they may start thinking about the other a little too much, such as a lot of what would be free time is wasted daydreaming about this other person?

If so does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to deal with it or work around it? This is a bit of a new relationship I'm talking about, and I expect it to lessen as time goes on, but dang! I've lost some valuable free time here. lol

It's probably best I don't analize what happened that night too much. I got to just move foward. I'll have my answer soon enough...

tziganka

Well she sent an email thanking me for the good conversation that night after I left. She also said she felt so comfortable and relaxed talking to me she joked that she might start floating after she left the car.

Those seem like vibes to me, but Being as inexperienced as I am, I just didn't take the innituative.

At least that is what I'd like to believe...

The "planning" is sort of a result of being told by someone that if I don't kiss her she might eventually loose interest.

It's kind of been a thorn in my mind ever sense I heard that.

But you're right, it was some well intentioned advise, but I guess I need to forget about it, and just be me.

how important is a smile?
Posted: 2/23/2009 8:03:15 PM
I think my smile looks a bit goofy, but most girls from my experience seem to like it. I've even been told before I have a good smile.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just relax and do what feels natural.

Bad timing for first kiss??

Hey, I'm 22 and I have very little dating experience. Anyways I just recently met this girl, and it feels like we really have a great connection. The other night I wound up giving her a ride home and we sat in my car at her door step and talked for almost two hours.

Anyway someone, who I really value his opinion, told me that I probably should have tried to kiss her that night. Thinking back on it, and feeling the energy between us I believe he was probably right. It just didn't ocur to me.

Anyway soon we are going to go dancing together. I've not kissed her yet, and I'm kind of hoping to have the chance, if things go well. What starting bugging me however is that I break a sweat really easily, and usually when I start sweating I get absolutly soaked!

This occured to me early today, that when the time comes for me to try and kiss her, I'll be an absolute sweaty mess.

So my question is, should I worry about kissing her being wetter than a creature that crawled out of a swamp, or should I even be concerned about weather or not I actually kiss her on this date? I don't know if I don't kiss her, with her having more dating experience than I have if the relationship might start loosing some of it's momentum.

What do you guys or girls think?

PS: it already seems too late to change plans with her, and despite this I do see us having a lot of fun together one way or the other.
