STOOD UP by a P.O.F. MEMBER

It was somewhat of a legitimate excuse, even though he always carries his cell phone or could have found one to call and let me know, and even though I would have driven separately if I knew I had made plans for that night to meet someone. We did make plans to meet again, and he didn't show up. It was weird, but it didn't hurt, as considering how inconsiderate this person was, I wouldn't want to meet them again anyway.
my sentiments exactly!!!! you don't want to know people that can and will possibly continually let you down, its just not worth it

Please explain Love
Posted:
7/1/2009 12:49:00 PM
you can't explain love, as it means different things to others!! Of course its a want for companionship, nothing else. To feel loved and wanted is a basic need of society today. Unconditional love comes from children, love you for who you are, faults and all!! As to your question 'what does love give you'? from my children, great happiness!! from the other perspective, for me, havent found it yet!

I Am A Woman

Girl Poem
A poem for us....
I shave my legs,
I sit down to pee.
And I can justify
any shopping spree.
Don't go to a barber,
but a beauty salon.
I can get a massage
without a hard-on.
I can balance the checkbook,
I can pump my own gas.
Can talk to my friends,
about the size of my ass.
My beauty's a masterpiece,
and yes, it takes long.
At least I can admit,
to others when I'm wrong.
I don't drive in circles,
at any cost.
And I don't have a problem,
admitting I'm lost.
I never forget,
an important date.
You just gotta deal with it,
I'm usually late.
I don't watch movies,
with lots of gore.
Don't need instant replay,
to remember the score.
I won't lose my hair,
I don't get jock itch.
And just cause I'm assertive,
Don't call me a bitch.
Don't say to your friends,
Oh yeah, I can get her.
In your dreams, my dear,
I can do better!
Flowers are okay,
But jewelry's best.
Look at me you idiot...
Not at my chest????
I don't have a problem,
With Expressing my feelings.
I know when you're lying,
You look at the ceiling.
DON'T call me a GIRL ,
a BABE or a CHICK .
I am a WOMAN.

Yeah I know what you mean here cheekychappy, its ok for his dad to have a girlfriend and he dosen't bother about that, he said thats because he dosen't live with him so he couldnt care less and on the other hand he dosen't want to see me hurt but trying to tell him that not everyman is the same as his dad is like hitting your head off a brick wall. Its going to be a big learning curve for both of us.

I don't need to ask the ex on dating tips, It was me that helped and encouraged him to have this g/f so he would leave me the hell alone! lol, glad someone else has to put up with his rubbish.

Now this is where my problem lies, my ex has been dating for a few months now and my son dosent bother about that at all.
I think I have the issue of the little one thinking that all guys are like his dad and he dosen't want me to get hurt in the same way I did with him and theres no reassuring him, hes very protective of me.

Is no father better?
Posted:

From my experience I would say it is better to have no father/mother around who is a bad example in behaviour. Children need love and stability and guidance, and not being subject to the bad influences that comes with the deadbeat parent.
I have regreted not getting the bad influence out of my life sooner as now that my child is older he has learned behaviour that he should not have been exposed to. I feel as if I have failed in my duty as a mother and if i could turn back the clock I would have.

I have a child at 12 years old child who is dead set against the words 'date' and ' dating' I have explained to him that its just like going out with a new friend for coffee, bowling, meal etc and he goes off in one of his mega huffs and you would think I was the devil incarnate.
I got to the bottom of it an found out that he thought I was looking for a new 'daddy', I understand why he thinks that and have tried to reassure him that his dad will always be his dad, even though his dad can't be bothered.
I just don't know how to get past this stage, I'm sure there are loads of you out there that have had to deal with similar issues. How did you resolve it with the child?

getting back together with an ex
Posted:

theres a reason for your ex being your ex please remember what it was. How would you feel say 3 months down the line and your stuck in a house together and things have reverted back to 'normal'. Be strong and stick to your guns girly, I know it won't be easy for you at this time but when things settle down you know you will have made the right decision. Its not always better the devil you know than the devil you don't.
Good luck xox

Not What You May Think
Posted:

I'm sure you can imagine
As plain as you can be
The place is Picadilly
The player He and She
She whispered Will it hurt me
Of course not" answered he
It's a very simple process
You can rely on me
She said I'm frightened
I've not had this before
My friend has had it five times
And said it can be sore
Then finally contented
Laid back and relaxed a bit
Quickly and readily he bent over her
And then he started it
It was growing rather painful
Tears formed in her eyes
It was hurting quite a bit now
It must have been quite a size
Calm yourself he whispered
His face was filled with a grin
Try and open a bit wider
So I can get it in
It's coming now he whispered
I know."she cried in a bliss
Feeling it deep within her now
She said I am glad I am having this
And with final effort
She gave a frightened shout
He gripped it in anguish
And quickly pulled it out
She lay back quite contented
Sighed and gave a smile
She said I am glad I came now
You made it worth my while
Now if you read this carefully
The dentist you will find
Is not what you imagined
It's just your dirty mind
