R- thanks for the door prize gift! we had fun with it at the table.. I thought the large bottle was lotion and put a glob on my hands and found out it was bath soap! got a few peeps stickey and slimey..... and then we all smelled good the rest of the evening!! (well at least our hands.... ) Ms P-Chef- great running into you last night. please email me with contact info and you GOTTA plan to come to the halloween party at the strat - me and my girlfriends will take care of you! A- that WAS the best tasting burbon I have had. enjoyed tasting it.

Relax. Enjoy life NOW. maybe re-evaluate the rules you used to live by and see what you can change to make more opportunites in your life. and women...... quit trying to be the one in control. quit with the 'superior wife/female syndrome'. (great article in the October 2009 Redbook magazine) (spoken from a past superior wife - and it didnt work for me!) maybe my half-full optomisim that I have had all my life is really 3/4 full to the positive now.... and it is a fantastic way to live life, look at the world, and enjoy life.

What about all of you that wont really admit the truth? How many of you had fery few partners most of your life and never did the experimenting BEFORE a long term marriage? Once I re entered the dating world at 46, wow........ I found out I had ALOT to learn. (like, I was pure vanilla and didn't even know what that meant) a few guys made the ed-u-ma-ca-tion wonderful! (lucky dudes...) and I am still trying to learn I have finally learned that I do have qualities that can drive a man wild...... ohhhh.... and the power of experimenting with what makes me attractive to the guys and reinforcing that it DOES work! wowzers! (the rush of power.... and the tingly excitement..... aaaahhhh) FUN FUN

See the Civil War come to life in Fort Zumwalt Park! http://www.ofallon.mo.us/pubs/tourism/Civil_War_brochure.pdf Saturday Sept. 12 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Open to the General Public $2.00 entry fee daily Shuttles available from designated areas (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. only) 9:00 a.m. - Park opens Soldiers and civilians will be living everyday camp lives throughout the event. Merchants will sell their wares throughout the day. Food vendors will be located by the Heald Home. 9:30 a.m, 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m - Church Dolls Presentation The Civilian Ladies will host this hands-on program. Participants will learn how to make Church Dolls and how they were used during the Civil War era. 2:00 p.m. - Civil War battle, followed by live medical demonstrations 5:00 p.m. - Camp closes to public 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. - Civil War Dance Open to the public. Join us for a period dance with Deborah Hyland as the dance caller and string music. Shuttle service will NOT be available. Sunday Sept. 13 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Open to the General Public Shuttles available from designated areas 9:00 a.m. - Camp opens to public; Civil War era church service 10:30 a.m. - Ladies’ Tea Ruth Collins will discuss the treatment of disabled persons during the Civil War. Refreshments will be served. 2:00 p.m. - Civil War battle 4:00 p.m. - Park closes O’Fallon & the Civil War When the American Civil War erupted in 1861, many of O’Fallon’s German immigrants sided with the Union, including the town’s founders, Arnold and Nicholas Krekel. They opposed dividing the country and felt that slavery was wrong. On the other side of the issue were Americans like Darius Heald, who ran his large O’Fallon-area farm with slave labor. (The heart of the farm is now Fort Zumwalt Park.) With feelings running high, the Germans formed companies of Home Guards, called “Krekel’s Dutch,” for defense. Led by Arnold Krekel, who was protecting his investment in the North Missouri Railroad line, Krekel’s Dutch vigorously defended the railroad bridge just west of town, which was a popular target for the Confederacy. They also built a blockhouse fort near the bridge, the only such fort erected in St. Charles County. Darius Heald, meanwhile, supported the Confederacy, helping his nephew form a company of soldiers. Heald was arrested, made to take a loyalty oath and post bond, and his house – old Zumwalt’s Fort – was ransacked and plundered by Union troops.

there is a civil war reinactment in OFallon MO Saturday and Sunday. Battle starts at 2:00 each day. Sugar Creek Winery open 12:00-5:30 636-987-2400 located 125 Boone Country Lane in Defiance MO hwy 40-61 turn south onto hwy 94 12 miles on the right. look for sign. You can also get there from washington MO if that is faster for you south cty peeps. BBQ at winery starts at 12:00 playing at noon Ivan smith 1:00-5:00 plays classical guitar, blues with metal string, he is in a rock band too. This winery you can bring picnic basket and coolers with FOOD only. No other beverages can be brought into winery - including water and soda. Bumenhof Vinyard -- 13699 S hwy 94 Marthasville (Dutzow MO) 800-419-2245 right off of HWY 94 in Dutzow MO look for the sign. opens at noon-5:30 Playing on Sunday: Jim McClare blues and Rock 2:00 to 5 pm
