I disagree!!! They look lazy and kind of gay.... men with long hair are far from lazy.... have you ever had long hair hun? when I say long I mean past your shoulders.... if anything men with short hair are lazy... just buzz it off and go ... that, to me, is far lazier than having to wash, brush, dry, pull back, whatever he does to his hair... which happens every day.... you really need to think about what your saying before you say it.... being blunt and voicing your opinion doesn't work for everyone.

I'm not much of a jewelry person either, but if/when I was ever to be gifted with a man that would offer a birthing gift... a necklace or watch would be most appropriate, and worn... most women don't wear rings because they get caught on everything, and lost when doing house work... (we still havent found a ring that was lost almost 3 years ago, we all think its in a vent, but we're not sure)... even if it is a boy, when he gets older, he can easily put a neclace charm on a chain long enough to be hidden for his 'macho appearance' but still cherished due to its meaning....

I have hair about to my ass... refuse to cut it, I honestly find short hair on women repulsive, but to each their own I guess.... some just don't want the responsibility of maintaining long hair, others truely think its sexy as hell.... I quite enjoy getting my hair caught on things, choking on it in my sleep, having my cat decide its his new toy, spending hours after good rough 'playtime' combing out the knots, and having to put hair ties in my budget (on average I have to buy a new thing of hair ties twice a month)....can't forget the $30 shampoo and conditioner a friend of mine got me hooked on (Regis Design Line's Olive Oil Shampoo and Conditioner - worth every penny)... all in all - it is well worth it to me.... but that is just me.

There's a huge difference between a larger guy who is mostly muscle and one who is just clinically obese lacking any type of muscle maturity. Most women do not find the pot belly look sexy. I have never heard those words come out of a woman's mouth when they're talking to me about what they like in men. I would tend to think your love of pot-bellied men is a small minority just as the guys who chase BBW types. America is getting fatter, but that doesn't mean the physical ideal of what is portrayed in the media is changing. In fact, if anything it's getting more petite, tanner and more blonde as time goes on. ha ha ha ... i never said pot bellies, i said a bit of a beer gut... big difference -- a pot belly is from lack of movement, a beer gut is from, well, too many fun nights by the fire... and most women probably are afraid to admit a beer gut is a turn on... I know alot of women who prefer the 'well fed' type.... and alot of men who prefer bigger women, but this is the POF forum, and most people say what they see and tend to attempt to make it a solid fact....

Mary, you crack me up hun... reminds me of a friend of mines mom, also a big woman, but she never let it get to her... which makes me think its more about how you carry yourself...... most of my friends are guys (rednecks - always fun)... and we've gotten into conversations about the women they've dated, and (if applicable) their current woman... they all pretty much said the same thing... the ones they've got now are with them because of the woman as a whole.... sure, when they were younger it was all about looks, but I think its the same for most men, as they age they begin to look for an all around beauty... not just a physically attractive woman. No I'm not saying its not a fetish, because that can be the case as well (friend of mine - he's my size, just over 5 ft, barely cuts 120 lbs ... his soon to be wife yay! I'm in the wedding is a rather large woman... and he's told me he loves her because of her size, and she's absolutely fine with it). It can also go the other way around... I prefer a larger man - "well fed" as I call it... and its not a fetish, I just find a bit of a beer gut a major turn-on... the 'teddy bear' type if you will .... its not just a sexual turn on either, its a comfort and security issue as well.... a bigger guy is much easier to cuddle up with than a skinnier one, and a bigger guy is likely to be more able to restrain me when my temper gets the best of me... also note... its very awkward when your man has to ask if the jeans on the floor are his or yours... just my perspective....

Tattoos are not just a trend, nor will they ever be, I can agree some people get them just to say they have them... and yes, they can be signs of prison-time, gang affiliation, other misc. illegal activities, but I don't think many of you have opened up enough to hear what people have to say about their tattoos.... For most people, a specific tattoo has great personal meaning... my first (and only so far) is in rememberance of a friend who left nothing behind...he brought an incredible amount of change to my life, so I honor him with a tattoo of our favorite band logo on the one place he told me I should get a tattoo (obviously, i argued) before he passed away... will anyone else understand that? probably not, but it makes perfect sense to me, and it would make perfect sense to the person i got it for if he were still here... Others show their faith via their body.... in some cultures, both modern and ancient, tattoos symbolize heirarchy, beauty, bravery, unlawfulness, along with many other things... and its been that way for centuries... it still happens all over the world to this day, and its nothing anyone can stop... so some are obscene and in the wrong place... some were done out of boredom in prison... (aren't you glad we send people to prison for selling pot? -- is it really worth it)... some were done out of blind lust mistaken for true love... but there are still a large number of people who have a heartfelt meaningful tale behind every tattoo... yes, the tattoo will stretch when you're skin starts to stretch when you begin to age... so what? chances are you still remember what it looked like the day you got it done, and why you got it done.... what else matters? (If you're over 60 and still care enough about what others think to hide your tattoos, you never should have gotten them in the first place...) I guess what I'm trying to say (and maybe i was clear enough, then again, theres alot of complete morons in these forums), people express themselves in different ways... open your eyes, your mind, and your heart, and you just might see that someday.... just because someone has 14 shades of blue on their left arm alone does not make them a horrible person, ex con, or wannabe-socialite .... to me it just means they like the color blue.... and to someone else, it might be the sexiest thing they've ever seen....

I have very thick, very long hair... I don't see how some of these women can claim its hard to take care of, if you use the right shampoo, conditioner, and after-shower products, its very easy to maintain.... my hiar is just above my butt.... anything above my elbows when my arms are at my side is waay too short... i could never imagine cutting it short... ever. As for neck pain, as most women use as another excuse.... the only reason your neck hurts is because it isn't strong enough to hold the weight of your hair... excercise works wonders..... but theres really nothing you can say to a woman who's too lazy to properly take care of long hair.... claim your life is crazy, your kids don't allow you time, whatever... all excuses... you're just too lazy to tend to something you're meant to take care of..... might just be me, and the way I was raised (I'm part Sioux, and its a very big part of my life)... but women are supposed to have long, flowing, beautiful hair... my grandmothers hair was below her tush up until the day she died... and thats the way it should be... but again, thats just me.... maybe I'm just old fashioned

my 13 year old sister just took a vow of abstinence until she's on her own and ready (physically, emotionally, mentally, financially), her reason: her best friend got pregnant, and the father doesn't want any part of it. She is terrified of her kids growing up without a dad (and me beating the snot out of the kid that knocks her up)... not religion. Simply stating a comment in contrast to an earlier poster, not all "abstinent daters" are religious nuts... there are truely conciderate and respectful people out there who aren't out for an easy peice of tail. Most people now days take everything for granted or are too self absorbed to care about the people effected by their sexual actions. They have no concideration for the person they "screw"... they just want to get off, and have fun .... well, thats most of us ultimately want, but the heartlessness these days is kind of frightening. Yes I like to have crazy monkey sex once in a while, but I care about the person I'm involved with, I care about the people they'll be with in the future, about possible children, about possible careless mistakes that could ruin someones life... i'm conciderate. ok, back on track... as you've noticed, yes you can build it up, via alot of weight lifting... theres a few things you can do to make it look a little bigger during the process tho ... wear medium low-rise jeans, with button pockets on the back - illusionary effect avoid belts -- belts make your waist look slimmer, but they also trim down the bum **try to wear shirts that end just below the belt loops -- contouring effect good luck with your bum...

also be sure to watch what you eat, as good as it may taste, make sure you're not eating too much pasta, peanut butter, or rice. Don't know if you've thought about it yet, but make sure to take care of your skin while you're loosing weight, might sound girly, but lotion will make a huge difference. Cocoa Butter helps with elasticity, Udder Cream helps with stretch marks .... I dropped alot of weight fast in highschool (50 lbs during summer break), started using the Udder Cream, within a few months, my stretchmarks are pretty much gone. they'll always be there, but very hard to see if you do it right. I only mention the skin care because I know firsthand how hard it can be to be soo happy about loosing the weight, but being afraid to show it off because of the stretchmark/elasticity issue, and I don't want to see someone else go through that... I say what I want when I want, if ya don't like it, walk away. I'm very hard to get close to, and I honestly think the forums allow potential victems to see what I'm like... if what i say there offends them, they won't waste my time with messages, phone calls, dates, etc etc, all for it to bomb out, and for me to have to start from ground zero. LMFAO!!!!! you speak of double standards, and how unfair they are, yet you toss all women into one category.... I haven't worn make-up in 5 years... I work out daily, and I've a muscle to mass ratio that makes most grown men look like little boys. Women have more body fat because of what their bodies do.... you know, have babies.... kind of an important part of the human life cycle. You need to do your research before you start bashing women because of an extra layer of tissue.... that extra layer of tissue gives women the ability to dive 20 yds deeper than men. that extra layer of tissue gives women the ability to survive longer in sub-zero temperatures. that extra layer of tissue allows women to absorb more nutrients from their food. women have keener eyesight and hearing abilities than men ...... this is all proven scientific fact ...... sorry if i ticked any other males out, but this closet homo needs to realize he's being a complete fruitcake, needs to get his head out of his rear and appreciate women ..... I've decided not to read previous posts, someone is bound to tick me off, so I'm giving my input based on the OP's question/statement. If she can walk, she can screw.... chances are if she's at the bar alone, she's shy and needs to get laid, and can't do what she did while sober.
