any decent motels in medicine hat?
Posted: 9/2/2009 1:01:08 PM
i'm passing thru town in a few weeks and looking for a decent, low-cost place to crash. i do like motels for their character but not sure if there's any good ones in town. those i've found don;t have websites or pics online. i'd like to find a funky-ish place. can anyone tell me if the satellite, bronco, bel aire or searra are decent? or recommend something along htose lines (ideally under $100/night)

many thanks

SEEKING ADVICE....
Posted: 12/28/2006 6:05:31 PM
Wow...a lot of personal perspectives. It really is subjective as to how people deal with a breakup. In your case, 3 years is a fair bit of time to spend with someone on an intimate level; 2 months is a mere fraction of that time. A breakup is a phase of transition that is, essentially, the reverse of how you got into the relationship - the beginning was a phase 'into' it. Now you're in a phase 'out of' or 'away from' it - as is he. If the relationship is over/done/crashed/kaput, then you must handle it in the way that is best for you. If he's smart, he'll do the same and everyone will have grown a little.

It's something we all need to learn.

their eating habits. if they chew with their mouth open...that's it!! game over!! tilt.

and when they don't laugh at my inane remarks, which i find hilarious, i just know they're not gonna get the rest of me.

and when they start talking about my package - i mean, really, how immature is that!? my mail is my business. just because i stopped off at the post office on the way...geesh.

what do men want for Valentine's Day?
Posted: 2/6/2006 11:23:57 AM
right now i'm thinking a hot bath and a massage would be splendiferous...best served by someone who wants to do it and not feel obligated because it's valentine's day.

what do you want to give for valentine's day?

Do you actually read the profiles or just look at the pics?
Posted: 2/1/2006 1:46:04 PM
here's my process;

1. check out the name - if it contains "goddess", "princess", "sexy" or some such nomeclature i skip it.

2. check out the intro line -...see above...

3. check out the pic - if there isn't one (which there should be) but 1 & 2 don't apply move to step 4

4. read the profile

5. make the decision to say something smart, silly or smarmy

Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye
Posted: 1/29/2006 9:36:47 PM
there's a lot of possibilities for this. but one that keeps coming back to me is by a group called shriekback (from the '80's when alternative was alternative). the song is "the cradle song" and it's very comforting in that "wish you the best but good-bye kinda way";

..may the fire be your friend
and the sea rock you gently
may the moon light your way
'til the wind sets you free.

Average..?
Posted: 1/29/2006 11:31:10 AM
this is a hot topic i just resolved (i hope) with a few others.

i just checked a few health stats which indicate that for women between 29-39 years of age, the average height is 5' 5" and average weight range is 132-144lbs. www.halls.md

And this, as a general rule of thumb;
Women: Start with 100 lbs @ 5' and add 5 lbs for each additional inch
Men: Start with 110 lbs (the rest is the same)

Figure it out yourself...www.chatelaine.com/health/tools/BMI/index.jsp (for women only)

alright..
first off, yes i posted in the wrong forum. my mistake.
second, i needed to resolve this for my benefit and, hopefully, yours as well.

Now let's drop it.

thank you

i could use some feedback
Posted: 1/29/2006 10:31:05 AM
thanx all for your feedback. i guess it's a work in progress. i've read your comments and agree with some of them. i'll try to add more pics. but, since i don't have a digital cam or a scanner it'll take some time. as to the "i's", i just prefer lower case. this isn't formal after all. and for someone who hasn't any description or pics on their profile..i really can't take their advice.

cheers

geez people relax!!!!

I came back here to post an apology 'cause i just found the suggestion forum and i find harrassment and bitterness!!! a kinder "excuse me, but..." would have sufficed.

to seaxyandbrainy - sexy, maybe. brainy, questionable.

to ultravox - i can see why you're bitter

didn't know where else to post this, so i'm putting it here in hopes it might get some attention. i have two suggestions to (hopefully) improve the interactivity and success for the fish.

1. i've noticed a lot of people (well, women, in my case) who indicate their body type as "average" when, in looking at their pictures, are quite larger than average. I'm sure this is the same on the men's profiles, too. rather than getting in to a debate about this, i'd like to suggest that POF Admin add a "Little larger than average" and a "slightly smaller than average" listing to the body types. As an alternative, perhaps a small chart that corellates height & weight with a partcular category (ie; 5'5", 140 lbs = Average 5'2", 150 lbs = BBW) or something like that

2. the name of the game is to make contact with others we're interested in and hope that they respond. when we do make contact we either get a response or we don;t. it would be great to have an option, like "add to favorites", on the profile page that allows us to 'erase' those that don't respond or reject so that we don't make the mistake of contacting them at a later date when we've forgotten that they turned us down the first time.

just a few thoughts

thanks for listening/reading

good sex or good head which would you rather get in bed.
Posted: 1/15/2006 1:35:11 PM
if i'm in bed, i'm gonna use up all the available space. that means rolling and tumbling. getting pleasured by a woman's mouth only requires me to lean back and enjoy which i can do anywhere. besides there's something really enjoyable about getting head while i'm sitting in my comfy chair in the living room.

i've had my profile up for a while and don't seem to be getting as many messages as i'd like. i've made a few changes and tweaks but think it could use something..is it my opening line or something else. i'd appreciate some suggestions that might result in more women sending me messages and inviting me over to their house for a home cooked meal....;->

thanx
