Was wondering if anyone is going that lives in Orleans? Have never been to this particular POF party and was thinking of going, looks like fun even though i dont know how to play pool. Capitallady38 we could social butterfly together!! LOL

i am not too sure what kind of music they play (but for sure NOT country!!) the manager of the lonestar has booked us on that day becuase he said that this is the best band that has EVER been to the lonestar so they must be good!! and as weel they play in sets and the d j comes on and he playes awsome dance toons!! dont worry you ll have alot of opportunity to shake your thang!! kiki14 thanks tamster...i have been trying to find the link to the band but like you said the lonestar took down the link so if anyone can find it let me know!! cheers all and see you soon

hi everyone....dinner starts at 6pm...just come ahead upstairs and i wil be there to seat you for dinner no reservations required!! if youd like to show up for 6pm and not have dinner that would be great as well...there will be no loud music at that point up until 8 30 pm or so so everyone will be able to talk and get to know each other before the party starts...thank you to all that have gotten back to me to let me know you are coming to dinner....it is much appreciated!! the balloon idea is all about bumping into people and getting to know a bit more about them..a conversation peice if you will!! makes things a little lighter ..easier to say hi and talk to people... so come one come all and bring your friends for a really fun evening....i am positive that you will meet some great and wonderful people...POF people rock!! if anyone has anymore questions please feel free to message me on here in the forum or personally in my mail box. cheers kiki14

thank you to all for all the support and kind words..i look forward to partying with all of you again and the new people too of course!!! i have been messaged a few times saying where to buy the balloons....there is no need to buy them they will be supplyed..there will be a balloon station with a helium thingy!! and you can have as many balloons as youd like..you can wear them on your waist..or your arms or where ever you choose!!!! kiki14

hi everyone..the band that is playing is ALTER EGO...they are the best band that has ever played at the lonestar bar none!! as for the bithday balloons i dont see a problem with that..seeing as there are 2 of you now!! i am sure you guys will have a memorable b day!! as for the kissing part...hmmmmm not much for dishing out kisses to people i dont really know..but i am sure you ll find lots of fishes that love to kiss!! lol theres not too much time left before the party so everybody sign up and tell your friends to sign up!! as like the other parties if you would like to have dinner please inform me so i can reserve you seats. if anyone has any other questions dont hesitate to contact me. see you all there kiki14

hey ottawacutie2006....i was just talking with the manager of the lonestar and they can accomidate just over 500 people...the last party i had over 300 people showed up not including the public..so it will be all good...it looks like about 350 people are coming..but that includes all pofers friends that they are bringing....and the manager is getting us orange leis to wear so we know who the pofers are..plus free chips and salsa and a deal on getting in to see the band..over half price off!!! so everybody make sure you arrive early enough so you dont have to stand in line. will see you guys there!! cheers everybody!!

WOW!!!! i want to personally thank everyone for signing up to this party.....and thank everyone for offering to help out..it shows what kind of people are coming to this pof party and that there are awsome people on pof!!! as of yet i do not have any need for help concerning the party..i have an awsome friend that is helping out MMmaster and the manager of the lonestar who is the best!! the only help i need thus far is for everyone to come (and if you d like to bring along friends please do) and mingle with people that you dont know and introduce yourself to those that are being brave enough to come by themselves or are very shy...they need to be included as well...which with this crowd of awsome people coming i know you all can step up to the plate!!! cheers to all if any one has any questions please feel free to message me and i will get back as soon as i can. kiki14

to all coming to the lonestar pof party............ the upstairs is open to us pofers at 6 pm...there will be salsa and chips for everyone to eat...everyone from pof will be given an orange lei so that you will recognize who is from pof and who is not...if you would like to have dinner be there by 6pm and we will put your name down for dinner and you should be eating by 7ish....if anyone for sure is interestedin dinner please let me know and i will reserve you a table when i get there.....as for people lasting till 2 am ...we did it the last time!!!! i was there at 6 30 along with some other pofers and we lasted so we can do it again this time!! if you come at 6pm you will have an opportunity to talk to all the pofers that are there with out the loud music....if any one has any other questions feel free to ask away and i will get back as soon as i can. glad to see eveyone that is coming...see you all there!!

yes i did email the admin on sunday when the party posting went up but it usually takes a couple of weeks for it to go up.....so we have to be patient!!! and i have seen the orange men at the lonestar before and they are really good..had the place rocking!!!

hi yall!! there is another pof party happening at the lonestar april 21 st.....if as many people showed as did the last one it will be a blast...there is lots of parking and a huge dance floor and a restaruent downstairs..pool tables and crazy dancing!!! hope to see you all there ps...its not a country bar anymore....they have a band that plays in sets and they play everything...then a dj comes on and plays every kind of music..not really country at all.
