awk a couple of years either way is no big deal at all is it really? and this 'if he lies about his age he lies fullstop' attitude is silly. everyone tells small lies usually to feel more secure it doesn't make them a horrible person and it doesn't mean they lie about the important stuff. sure if he was claiming 40 and was 60 it would be bad (and also kinda amazing that he got away with it) but 2 years? hell it doesn't even make a difference maturity wise (unless you're a lot younger granted). just make sure his hair is his and doesn't come off it a strong wind and that sorta thing. i've experienced it before ie i lie about my age all the time and i do lie about other things but i'm not a bad person and i don't lie to hurt people or to conceal important truths. if i want into an over 21s night i lie and say i'm over 21 and then continue doing so to everyone i meet there who asks. what if i meet mr right? should he see my one year lie as a red flag? who knows. i also lie about where i got my bag ("oh i can't remember" = charity shop/ primark), whether my feet hurt in my new shoes "nope they're like slippers!" = i think my toes are bleeding but you have judged the price too much already to know that you were right and they're impractical. bad people lie but that does not mean everyone who lies is a bad person. and people who say they don't lie are the biggest liars of all. holla.

confident-realist should girls with boyfriends wear badges stating it?? of course if a girl is actively approaching guys and chatting them up then that's leading them on but there are other times when guys seem to think a girl is teasing when she's just existing. i mean i've been clubbing with boyfriends but if i go to the bar alone sometimes to get a round in i just generally have a chat with the people around me male or female. if i was to be chatting to some guy at the bar and say "oh by the way that's my boyfriend over there, just so you know nothings going to happen here before you feel tricked or misled in some way" there'd be a topic on here about big headed girls and how they think all men fancy them. and i'm going to brush past your "she can mingle with anyone she knows" comment because i'd just end up on a wild tangent.

Do you answer them? It's 2am, you're awake and the phone lights up with the guy/ girl you've been casually dating/ flirting with/ been caught checking outs name on. Personally, I (more often than not) do because I find them hilarious but some of my friends say it makes you seem too "availible" if you take that call. Now granted it's 2am so if they woke me I'd be less than impressed but when I'm awake anyway I'm a no harm no foul kinda gal. Do you guys answer?

how do they "act available"? by dancing and wearing attractive clothing? i hate this idea that just because a girls in a relationship she should sit quietly beside her boyfriend and not dare talk or dance with other men. what do they actually do to tease you? unless it involves straddling your lap, kissing your neck or rubbing your crotch it can't possibly be that bad. a smile/ laugh at your joke / dance with you if you come over is not teasing in my opinion. also how can they "leave the place with him and make sure everyone sees?" get serious, is she blaring a foghorn on her way out? you only see because your watching. duh.

i'm confused by everyones responses. surely if she wanted to be with the other guy and he wanted to be with her they would just be together? you've said you're broke so she's not with you for your money.. so unless you're hung like a horse i can't see any superficial reason she'd be with you? maybe they are just FRIENDS. if she was going on holiday with a girl friend who bought her things you wouldn't blink and she's told you she pays him back anyway so i don't know. it's all down to whether or not you trust her but i really don't think it's time to demonize the poor woman!

i don't put a lot of stock in IQ. Chemistry fair enough, conversation yeah but IQ no. I've had IQ tests and got 145... That's like genius territory. Then I've done other ones when I've scored 98. That's... well... almost mentally handicapped territory. So instead of having some sort of breakdown about whether I should be sipping champagne with mensa men or trying to lick my own elbow with special Fred I'm going to just find someone who makes me laugh and has a smile that makes my knees weak :)

at the min my nails are all bitten and gross because i just can't help myself.. when i have the money i get gel nails but i'm a student so can't really afford £40 every couple of weeks on my hands and i reckon the ones from boots just look like crap. although if i'm honest when i have long nails i feel somewhat handicapped. i can't button my jeans without lots of effort or type or text, even driving becomes tricky for some reason... but they look super duper pretty and my cat is more likely to let me scratch her head when i have long nails

it depends in what situation they're at the strip club. if he's just going there during his lunch hour then i'd be like ERROR ERROR buttttt if it's a boys night, stag night, trip to amsterdam i'd be alright with it. but then again i quite like strip clubs. if i had longer legs and less jiggly bits i'd probs strip haha he could come see me :) as it stands though.. a g-string and a spot light? worst. nightmare.
