Why do some men feel the need to make women feel bad?

lol, I've read a bunch of posts in here that have made me lol, and a couple that just shocked me. I agree with whoever said that once people get a profile on here they go from being average to extraordinary. I think that all us being fishies, we know what that's like.

Now, the thread kind of takes a little turn due to the whole apparent cultural differences, but having been online for years now, the best thing about this is that we can block anyone who decides they want to contact us to put us down, or because they don't agree with what someone says. Hurrah for individuality.

I like these forum things. Ill have to remember to check them out more often.

I understand your dilemma. I'm glad you did get to go out and see what the situation was, and nobody's feelings (or anything else) got hurt.

I know this site started up a while back, and I remember friends telling me about meeting great people on here, which is fine. When I found myself single for the first time in years, I joined here after a while but I am finding the same situation. Every guy that messages me either wants to talk dirty/meet for sex or literally jump into some weird relationship right away, like the one you described (maybe its the same guy, lol).

Anyway, I guess I'll just go with what one of the posters said before, quality over quantity. And I do also agree that you can get to know someone online for a while, before going out and meeting them, I find that's much easier then arranging to meet someone after one or two contacts with them..

Good luck to all of us I guess...
