Slow sex - no sensation?

But the rest do not.

Obviously there are levels speed and of hardness, but IMO/IME, a certain level is what's expected for a guy to be able to reach (and maintain).

Is porn ruining real live sex?

It is obvious that the author refers to porn of decades past not of the 2000s.
In other words, no, IMO modern (2009) porn is not ruining real live sex.

Re the OP

PE is not in my book. I like the "workout" to last at least 1/2 or even 1 hr. That way not only does it benefit the erotic dimension, but it is the most pleasant type of aerobic workout (beats jogging and all other boring sports/workouts).

A woman coming too soon is IMO a bit o a problem, unless she is willing to "endure" 3, 4 or more comings before we wrap the "session" lol up! And she has the muscular/physical stamina to last that long, many do not. IME too many women waste their energy in chores and useless tasks and then have little energy when it comes to sex and thus tire easily.

Do we over promote ourselves in a sugar coating? Should we start advertising personal flaws?
Posted: 5/3/2009 9:28:07 AM
Re the Opost

In principle, the idea is great, IMO. We all have flaws and some flaws are even seen differently by some.

But in practice, with all the suspicious dynamics of our era, if one "advertises" eg 3 flaws, many if not most will tend to think that he/she has 10 more he/she is not advertising. I know, groupthink is a terrible thing, but it is dominant these (dating) days!

Re the Opost

I have dated many times people from the same company that I worked for or a client's company. Better if it's a large company and no direct contact at work, so if things turn sour, little damage.

But no, it is not wise and it is that factor plus the factor that many many people do not like the bars pickup scene anymore that propels online dating.

Re post 26

Goes to prove that not all men can think with either one of our heads but not with both at the same time. Many of us can. Yes, we are "beasts", but we can control the "beast" in us! lol lol lol And we are not sex maniacal "dogs" as many women accuse "men" of being.

Many men say no and when they say no they mean no, it is not a gender monopoly! lol

SAYING NO
Posted: 1/18/2009 5:21:16 PM
Re the Opost

A few years ago an e-friend (from a different site) was visiting the city I lived in for a business conference. The first time we met IRL there were sparks from both sides. We were out walking and started kissing etc. We agreed to go to her hotel room but on agreement that we would not have sex, only petting. Well, things got very hot and at some point she suggested that we proceeded to penetration sex. I said No, because I had promised that we would not be doing that if we went to her room and that if we did that night, she would have reasons not to trust my word again. So yes, guys can say No to and keep their word.

Funny thing is she got upset, claimed that my insistence to keeping my word meant I was not attracted enough to her to have sex with her (!!) and the whole affair fell apart!! To this day I am OK with my decision to say No and keep my word.

Re the Opost

OMG, the usual roles reversed! A real test to the myth that men are "sex dogs" and women so sensitive re sex w/o love.
Is his attitude about sex a result of his marriage or did it pre-exist, before he met his now ex? That IMO is a crucial detail, as to how much "work" this guy will need to find his way (if he does).

Good luck.

Re the Opost

Indeed, not that many women give good oral IME and from what I have heard from other guys. Most see it as a chore and do it w/o passion or technique.

Yet, a BJ does not have to lead to coming, it can warm up Mr. P for the penetration and the coming thru that.

Women Peeing In The Men's Room
Posted: 1/12/2009 6:01:12 PM
This is a zanny thread. Not due to the Opost. But due to the opinions thrown in many of the posts.

I agree with post 30 that;
"...The opinions expressed here, that have a problem with women using the men's room, are not that men want their privacy, or have modesty issues with bodily functions. I think it is the double standard we have in our society. Women are given far greater tolerance in committing behaviors that when a man does it, he would be in deep trouble for doing the same thing.

I think it comes out of women wanting to be treated with equality; Women should have the same restrictions and restraint placed upon them, as the men they want equality with."

And that is the essence of the issue!

PS. What are the sociological or other type of "scientific" reasons for the Ladies' Room having so much traffic to begin with and the Men's not, in this day and age of gender equality? Eg do women drink more than men in bars? Or hold less?
Especially when it comes to a place frequented by primarily young people?

PS2. The rational solution would be to merge the two Rooms and make it co-ed (that was the case in my college dorm)!

Making Love Outdoors - At One With Nature
Posted: 1/11/2009 11:26:02 PM
Re post 38

The point of my 2 previous posts seems to have been missed.
Plus there are many ways to add spice, sex in public (unless we are talking of one's private back garden or private park (think richhhh)) is but one of them with the downsides that I have already mentioned. Been there done it, but I would never have done it in the US, too many sickos loose from what the news and films give us the impression. 2o years back, in Europe, sure, today, nope, crime rates have been "imported" from the US (sort of), etc etc.

But there are safe Natural solutions for the urban dweller: A visit to a shop that sells plants, a truckload of them imported in the apartment to create a Natura ambience plus some CDs of sounds of nature, to fit the type of moment (rain, wind, birds, tigers, volcano eruptions, etc etc). Bringing the outdoors indoors in downtown Manhattan, LA, London, Paris, etc etc!

Nuff said (by me)

Re post 31

Done my share of "outdoors" in prev years and decades but:

"Good Lord Nick....do u always see the negative side of things?!!!"
a) I may be good but I am not a lord
b) no, but being in the forums does affect someone, all those women fearing this or that etc etc

"I say........let 'em watch!"
What if it is Freddie or Jason? Seen the Hostel? etc etc etc
Are we serious? In a Society where so many people especially women worry so much about their dates, where there is so much crime and sickos, we are expected to have sex in Nature at a "public" place to be One with Nature? Consistency?

"Maybe they'll learn something......like how to enjoy yourself with no inhibitions!"
a) Sure, in a safe enviroment, with a woman who feels safe, with protection on! One does not need the thrill of danger of being caught for sex to be thrilling, sex is thrilling w/o such 'tricks", IMO!!!
b) If I wanted people to "learn" something from me, I would be doing porn! lol

Blame Hollywood, Tarantino and phobic American female daters????
Or reality?

In these complicated full of dangers and worries times, the in touch with Nature feeling is often out-weighed by a concern as to who could be watching, why, with what motives, etc! Maybe too many scary movies have killed that pleasure!!! lol
Of course there are CDs with music from Nature one can use to get at least the acoustic sense of being 1 (2 actually) with Nature.

Re the Opost

Since FMF threesome (menage a trois) involves a hetero man and 2 at least somewhat (!) bi (or bi-curious) women, it is to be expected that a bi woman may get proposals for participation in a 3some much more than a hetero or gay one (btw a 3some is not an "orgy", takes more ppl for that!!!). What is important IMO is for the proposals to be polite-respectful and non insisting.

Yes, a FMF trio is a dream for most men!

IMO a more puzzling issue than whether there is life on some other planets in the universe, is why is there not life in most of the planets? Why is life such a rarity among the sum of all planets? That is IMO a good philosophical question. The "why" non-life is the norm for most planets!! What does it tell us about "life"? The Universe? Everything?

Only 2 relationships of any kind with men in so many years after the divorce is not IMO a good thing and by no means a valid sample to draw conclusions. Plus a tendency to rush those two relationships.

The principle of "social allegiance" is embedded in the "social" and "constitutional" contract by which a person becomes a member of a State (in the Platonic sense of the term State), ie a citizen. He/she gives up some of his/her individual freedom (compared to the freedom of a single person living alone on an island), in return for part of the added value that a State or community or any form of civic structure creates. In short, a State or even Society that does not include allegiance is not a Society or State but rather a "shopping mall" or "trailer park", ie not worth to be defended even.

What is more, who "costs" a Society more? A person on welfare or a person who makes lots of money and even pays lots of taxes by producing and/or selling products or services that are harmful to people or the environment, or even merely breaks the law and is put in jail? If people do not deserve welfare, why do prisoners deserve to be fed while in prison? In humane Societies, both do (ie the issue has nothing to do with Left/Socialist or Right ideology per se)

i agree that 'No two sexual acts are the same in a hetero relationship. There is no tit-for-tat (pun intended), even in oral sex.' (post 74). I also agree with "...Simple, when one does all the giving, in a relationship, there is imbalance.Whatever it entails." (post 76). But there is a GREAT difference between one giving oral and the other not and a relationship where one does ALL the giving. After all, a man gives much more (energy included) during vaginal intercourse than a woman does. Are they supposed to keep account of the balance of BTUs and pleasure "units" between the two (give and take)? That would not be a relationship, it would be a (corporate) partnership. lol lol
