It certainly caught my attention. I was told by a prospective date that my profile on another site stated I had "too much baggage"! lol. We've become good friends and chat quite a bit. He was the one to convince me to try POF and I'm glad that I did. What I wrote on my profile was that, yes, I do indeed carry baggage amongst other things. lol I have to admit though, I think it has limited the responses I could have received if perhaps I hadn't broadcast it so fiercely. It's in my nature to be honest and my feelings remain the same. I'm 47 and my hair is almost waist length. The reason I choose to keep my hair that long is because of childhood issues with my mother. Until I was in my late teens my hair was kept cut to about chin length as it was so thick and curly. It's true it does take effort for daily upkeep but I shudder even when it comes time to trim it. So I guess my vote is in.. my hair is long because I CHOOSE it to be. thanks, wyckeddaisy   Show ALL Forums
