Politically Correct Meat Eaters
Posted:

It is called a sustenance list and is more common in northern communities than in the south of BC. The list is often maintained by the Conservation Officer's Service or local food banks.
In BC a person can certainly apply for and get a permit to keep roadkill after it is properly reported etc. Very often a permit is not issued to the person who hit the animal due to the fact that was previously stated, it would then encourage intentional harvesting!
For larger ungulates killed in the winter months, there is a pretty good window for harvesting said meat, given the cold temperature and potential for getting a significant amount of untainted or damaged meat.
Of course a person wants to ensure that they report their findings and obtain their permit or they could incur significant fines for being in the possession of wildlife. Trust me when I tell you, there are far more people willing to call and report you taking the animal than there are that won't. Good samaritans and neighbourly rats are in abundance in our fine province!!!

It is an outrage...and what is even more outrageous is that people supported this endeavor at all. Whatever made them believe the crap that the self serving politicians were spewing forth in the first place.
WTF is up with that??
And to then in retrospect get choked......like ya didnt see the train comin cuz you were blinded by the light?
Man, oh man.........I wasnt going to comment.....but I just couldnt help myself!

I tend to believe that they can only work if one of the parties is in fact willing and able to relocate at some point in time. If not they are date stamped.....have a shelf life.....gotta get in while the getting is good and milk it for what you can.
Well, that is my most humble opinion anyway.

Everyone has pretty much already summed it up. Not a lot you can do but control your end of the bargain.
He might consider getting a cell and # solely for her to have and that way it can be turned on and off accordingly. Of course, might be too late if she already has the house number.
As for restraining orders, I hate to say it but they are hardly worth the paper they are written on. Going to be incredibly difficult to enforce a no contact order from afar, and all they can do is throw her in jail for breaching it. (great memories for the kids)
Keep on smiling......through the insanity. At some point....it might be a "mad smile"!
Best of luck

Loyalty

I am loyal to a fault (if that makes any sense).
Of course, it is not offered up without cause. A person needs to demonstrate that they deserve my loyalty and when you have it, you have it unfailingly.
Of course when it has been betrayed and is lost there is no getting it back.
(sounds so extreme when I read it) sheesh...

Do public schools = Fairy Tales?

So happy to see so many people posting opinions similar to mine, in line with Traveller's.
I akin it to my oldest grandson who was born with significant development disabilities. I can remember asking the many specialists and therapists as he was followed through his years if he would ever walk. Although they would not commit to yes or no answers, you could often read in their expressions and well versed answers what they believed. Of course, there were many things that we wondered, especially in those first years.
If we were to adopt the belief of some of those people, we may not have encouraged (I tend to think that we would have done so) his growth as much as we did, or we may have accepted and become complacent with the lack of development.
Suffice it to say, yes he is still dealing with developmental delays, he can walk, he can run, he can swim, he can navigate a computer amazingly, he cannot speak but can certainly communicate. There is no end to what he may achieve and we keep ourselves open to any twist or turn that may come up.
A child may overcome many physical barriers and still play an instrument like a master. Beethoven composed music and he was deaf!!
I say open up all the doors, keep the options on the table.
The only failure in life is failing to try!!
I am sure that your virtuoso will bring many a tear to your eye while you enjoy his accomplishments!!

The Goose is a really great place to ride, for easing into the whole thing. There are lots of on and off's along the way as well, so people can join in or opt out if the ride is too rigourous!
I have been yearning to see some riding on the rock, hope it ends up being a day I can get out there too.
Of course, my bike has certainly been gathering dust.....have not been on it at all lately. So, I would certainly need to dust myself and it off to prepare for anything.
I will follow this to see if you get some interest and a date planned. Then, so long as I am not working, I will be in for the comraderie.....and exercise!

I would rather the person cancel the date the afternoon of, as soon as they got back from their early date and decided they wanted to pursue that relationship.
As for at least she told him, well actually she was trying to just disappear as so many others do, he just put her on the spot when he called and asked what was up.
As for expectations, I dont care who expected what or not. Truth be told, when you change your mind the courteous thing to do is let those who will be impacted/affected by your decision know about it.
Who needs sides? She didnt cancel, his feelings/pride were wounded and he vented online.....

Flexibility in a new relationship
Posted:
7/14/2009 10:43:20 PM
Had this conversation with a friend just his afternoon. If we can purchase real estate and every other commodity "as is" then we should be willing and able to enter into relationships the same way.
If I meet someone who cannot accept me or whom I have trouble accepting, then we do not enter into a "couple" type relationship. That is just a no brainer.
I am not looking for a project, nor am I expecting to be one. If I have learned only one thing in all my live long day, it is that we all come with our positive and not so positive attributes. It is in finding someone whose less appealing components are ones you can live with because what they add to the equation far outweighs what they detract from it.
Otherwise, even if it wouldn't be my first choice, alone is doable and a hell of a lot easier than trying to be someone I am not.

I will take the bait even though the forum police may likely cause this thread to go pffft.
It is funny that you brought this idea up as I have been pondering of late how it seems that some people are compelled to paint someone else (or their ideas) wrong in order to make themselves right. It is sad really that they feel this is necessary. What works for one does not have to work for another, and neither of them have to be wrong, they can just both be right!
For me, for the most part, things are neither wrong or right. They just are. Accepting things/people/ideas as they are without having to convince them otherwise is oh so much easier. Of all the things I have learned in my life, this has likely served me the most.

So far I have not seen much in the media slagging MJ, the only belabouring of long ago events I have seen thus far are on this thread.
I do believe that what he tried to build with Neverland is that which he never had, a childhood. As previous posters have mentioned, he was exploited all his life, even by those who should have protected him.
Did he violate children or simply resonate with them, not for me to determine.
I do know that if a child of mine was violated by anyone, no amount of money would make me stop my pursuit of justice. I think those accusations can likely be added to the disgustingly long list of exploitations that his fame visited upon him.
I pray that he has finally found some peace.

Pickton Denied Appeal
Posted:
6/26/2009 4:16:30 AM
Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the Crown Appeal has been set aside until they find out if the Defense will be taking this decision to the Supreme Court. I thought that the Crown's Appeal is to retry the case without severing them, so that all 26 would be tried at one time.
Perhaps I have misread the article and will now (after beaking off) go re-read it for clarification.
In a second ruling, this one on a Crown appeal, the judges unanimously agreed that if Pickton is successful in a Supreme Court referral, then the Crown could proceed with either a trial on six counts of first-degree murder, or the 26 counts Pickton originally faced.
The court also placed a conditional stay on any new trial if and when Pickton's defence team decides to take the case to the high court, saying there was no need for the "enormous demands" of another trial if Pickton's conviction isn't overturned.
The ruling essentially preserves the Crown's right to proceed to trial on a charges of first-degree murder on either six or 26 charges.
That last paragraph led me to that belief.

Not that I am one of the happy campers.....but......wanted to put my .02 in. We had a great weekend gathering last year in the group site at Goldstream, did you check them out? We were in the back site and there was room for numerous RVs and tons of tents. Of course, I guess that would warrant a huge outlay for reservations and then gathering the cash. (only drawback)
Awesome space to party and not be bothering anyone at all.

Using humor as a wall
Posted:
6/6/2009 1:13:09 PM
Smokey Robinson summed up the "wall" when he wrote the great "Tracks of my Tears"
(a few of the lyrics.....)
People say I'm the life of the party
Because I tell a joke or two
Although I might be laughing loud and hearty
Deep inside I'm blue
Since you left me if you see me with another girl
Seeming like I'm having fun
Although she may be cute
She's just a substitute
Because you're the permanent one..
Outside I'm masquerading
Inside my hope is fading
Just a clown oh yeah
Since you put me down
My smile is my make up
I wear since my break up with you..
So take a good look at my face
You'll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer, it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears
I know that I have hid behind my sense of humour many times in my life...mostly to cover disappointment or mask other vulnerable feelings.
I do understand the premise.......although I tend to believe or so far it seems the truth that our strengths are most often our weaknesses. So, the sense of humour that carries me through all adversity can also hinder me when it is allowed to.
Sweet mystery of life..............

Dusty laws and politicians that lack the kahunas to implement change.
I say give him refuge! If he is such a huge breach to our security hate to say it....it's been breached.....we are now insecure!! Holy crap it amazes me how apathetic we are. Oh....the government says that this guy is a threat so we better believe them..
Meanwhile back on the greyhound bus...a schizophrenic is hacking a passenger up and saving bits for later..........he immigrated too! Why aren't we booting him back to where he came from?
Apparently, we will take your mentally ill and shelter them with our social health care system.....but God forbid you come here and try and eek out a living with your family, working, paying taxes, keeping your head down...for fear of being deported. That is way too threatening and frightening for words. Truth be told...we probably have a better chance of being caught in the gangland crossfire in the lower mainland than we do of having our country's security breached by the Russians.
Hey....don't we just taser those folks at the airport??
d'oh.....what have we come to?

Swine Flu Outbreak

Disease epidemics/pandemics have been around far longer than this latest and greatest conspiracy.

1976 talks about the swine flu so who is it we now think created this masterpiece?
I say quit trying to point a finger and some "out there" agency and take the precautions you are advised by the health organizations trying to control and contain the spread for crying out loud.

Swine Flu Outbreak
Posted:
4/27/2009 10:06:06 AM
Interestingly enough, there are only two animals who can contract, mutate and transfer viruses to humans, they are swine and avian.
The swine flu is not contracted by eating pork, it is a virus that has gone from swine to human. This in and of itself does not cause a huge concern, it is when it goes from human to human that there is considerable concern of disease outbreak. The reason many of these diseases are first noticed in countries like Asia and Mexico is due to the often very close proximity people live with their animals. In some of these areas it is not unusual for them to share living space. This of course increases the risk of passing viruses back and forth.
The second factor that has the WHO alerted is that the fatalities are occurring in previously healthy, young adults. Typically flu tends to take the weaker, young, elderly and immune compromised. It is concerning that people in the prime of their lives and in good health are succumbing.
Otherwise, everything that happens in this world is a media circus, from octomoms all the way down to disease outbreaks.
Although this will not change the way I live my day to day life, what the health organizations are hoping is that anyone, especially those who have recently travelled to Mexico or been in contact with someone recently returned, that come down with flu symptoms gets checked out. If the spread of this can be slowed, stopped etc. then the better off the majority are.
Pandemics have happened all through time, as a previous poster stated, they have also been responsible for seriously reducing the population. They used to be more confined because global travelling was nearly unheard of. Now in this day and age they can spread, they can spread very quickly and they can definitely impact the globe and not be confined to just one country.

Funny for me this election, more than any other, has me just shuddering with utter contempt.
The facebook fiasco is just another nail in a pretty solid coffin.
This frustrates me to no end as I cannot support an administration that quietly goes about slashing and annihilating services to our most vulnerable and weak populations. (of which my first born grandson is one of) Lest we forget the stellar example the incumbent leader set when deciding to operate a vehicle while impaired in another country. Oh if only bad personal choices was all it took to hang someone.
So, for me, there is no-one to vote for in this election and that is just plain frustrating. I can't for the life of me justify casting a ballot anywhere.

Perhaps you might want to change your religion settings on your profile to more adequately reflect your beliefs, rather than choosing not religious choose new age or other.
You also might want to say something about the importance of someone who shares similar beliefs in your profile so that people who you are in communication with know immediately if they are in......or just in the way.

^^^^ I think Temptation has summed it all up quite adequately! (couldnt have said it better myself).
That aside, I will most likely cast my ballot out there, somewhere, for some crook or retard.
It has been my observation in Canadian (federal and provincial) elections/campaigns that it is all about voting AGAINST something rather than voting FOR someone.
I have to decide which of the parties comes the closest to the issues that are near and dear to me and go that way. I can no longer consider the bigger picture as I do not believe that either party or either leader is worthy of the position. So, just have to consider my own life and the lives of those I love and choose accordingly.
It sucks!

Bacon Brothers Complain about Harassment

The Bacon brothers, just like any other criminal have made their choices and are reaping the benefits of the seeds they have sown.
Too bad that they are too young and too stupid to have made more clever and well thought out decisions. Someone (likely their parents) should have spent more time pointing the perils of stupid choices to them as they were growing up.
When I was involved with raising children I made sure that they understood that guilt by association is just as detrimental as having commited the crime yourself.
Be careful who you hang with and make decisions knowing that you can live with the consequences of your actions.

Who prepares your income tax?
Posted:
3/21/2009 1:32:36 PM
Accountants will charge you about 10 times more than their time is worth. The only ones who benefit from the accountants are of course businesses that utilize the professionals for their T4, T5 etc preparations, reconciliation of their payroll accounts and ongoing support with corporate taxes year end and financial statements.
For the regular "I work for a living" type person it is, in my most humble opinion, a complete waste of money. I know, I used to work in that field and have prepared income taxes for well over 15 years. Trust me when I tell you, if you take it to a firm they will have one of their staff do the preparation and sign off on it in order to charge you a whole lot more money.
If you want some feedback regarding what is or is not allowed in terms of deductions feel free to PM me and I will share what knowledge I have.

I believe that when you can truly accept someone for who they really are, I mean truly accept them with all of their foibles (and they you) without trying to fit them into your mold of the "perfect man" then you are on the road to that "happily ever after" dream.
I think that most relationships fail because people find themselves attracted to someone and then spend copious amounts of time and energy endeavoring to shape that person into their vision. They make assumptions of how someone will react based on their previous knowledge. Conflict arises because the person is not fitting into the mold and if they "truly loved us" they would try for the sake of the relationship...yadda, yadda, yadda.
Time to take off the rose coloured glasses and look at the potential partner and see them, really see them and then decide if you can accept them just as they are. If you look at successful relationships you will see that is a common thread. You will hear the old lady/man saying, yes that is how so and so is, it is okay, they will........come around, get over it etc. They know their mate and they accept them anyway.
Until then, get to know thyself!!

Vancouver - Chickens in your yard?
Posted:
3/11/2009 10:18:47 AM
Well actually, it is more people who keep chickens in their homes, rather than backyards. Where this virus has done damage there are no boundaries between the livestock and the people, they all sleep in the same space, therefore giving the virus opportunity to mutate and infiltrate.
As for the urban chickens, they have them here in Victoria and now Esquimalt is also open to it. I do believe they have a maximum of two or three birds and roosters are not allowed.
Those who keep the chickens tend to also have a garden that is definitely rich with manure. They do have the greenest foliage around.
I don't think the majority of people will opt for the option, it will be exercised by only the most serious and conscientious. I am sure that there are a bunch of enforceable by-laws in place to offset any problems that may arise.
I would also like to venture a guess that there are already numerous people who do not respect their neighbours already by poor garbage management and letting junk pile up. (just winging it here) and the city has always had problems with raccoons, rats and coyotes.

Kids taken away from racist mother... OK or not?
Posted:
2/24/2009 12:44:11 PM
I sure do think that there is way more to the story than what first meets the eye. These kids were removed over 7 mos ago from their home. The mother states that she regrets re-drawing the swastika on her daughters arm and sending her to school the day after the teacher scrubbed it off.
This is political and it is the parents using their children as pawns in their political fight. Apparently the media ban is as much to prevent this from becoming a circus as they can.
I still can't help but ponder.....(apparently I ponder too much, hence I am always bobbing around in the pond). I know that were someone to have taken my kids (when I was still responsible for them) I would do pretty much anything I could to make that right. Whatever steps they said I would have to take to prove my "worthiness" as a parent, I would do it. Why? Well because my life without them would be meaningless. (regardless of my political, spiritual or other beliefs). I don't know how it is that this parent has done nothing but b1tch to the media about how "done wrong" she is but has for all intents and purposes not put forth an argument on how she has proven her judgement has improved since that day back in July 08.
Then add to that the sudden removal of visitation even, why would that have happened so recently? What on earth happened to have that revoked this late in the game?
This wreaks and sadly it is making the parent appear pretty smelly, not the government. That said, I am more than happy to revoke that statement should something come to light to prove that my assessment was wrong. In this particular case I am not swayed in the parent's favour.

Kids taken away from racist mother... OK or not?

When it involves children you won't get the information necessary to make an informed judgement. Whether it is good or bad that is just the case when children are involved.
I do know how media tends to take a modicum of truth and spin it to reflect their opinion on any given topic which is why it is so difficult to really formulate an opinion.
I concur that power is a certainly dangerous when in the wrong hands. I am in no way stating that the "system" as it stands is without flaw. I do find it interesting that this particular incident has been going on as long as it has. I know that at one time in my life I was a Foster Parent. A child was placed in my care that had a custodial parent that was addicted to drugs and had stabbed someone in front of the child. The child was in my home until they could contact the other, out of country parent to place the child there. Long before that child was placed in the other parent's care, the custodial parent was out of jail and had the child back with supervision. Unless I am mistaken the purpose is to try and keep the children with their families. So, I suppose I am basing my opinion on my own personal experiences.
What else has caused the removal and continued care of this child? And like previously mentioned, something we will never know most likely!

Oops, my bad. I just read an article regarding this and discovered this is not BC but MB where this incident occurred.
Also found out that the kid was removed 7 mos ago and the mother, who had visitation until recently, has just had her visitation revoked.
I stand on there is a whole lot more to this story than what we are reading in the media. I have to wonder just how bent this person is too, that this has been going on for this long and the child is still in care.

I have to chuckle at all the references made about the government intervention and how it infringes on every one's personal "rights".
First off, if people wanted to check into how many children are in care in the province of BC and factor in how many short and long term foster and group homes are available for said children it might make one wonder just what other extenuating circumstances were at play in the decision to place these children in care. As someone pointed out even crack addicts are allowed to keep their children so it does make one wonder what all of the details are in this case. Not for us to know but seriously people, you hear about the atrocities that happen to a few of the thousands of children, imagine what goes on at the hands of some parents....it wouldn't just make your skin crawl it would likely make you physically ill. It is nothing short of sad that we live in a society that requires this sort of intervention, but we do, so quit looking to blame the government and start looking at the sick individuals that make these departments a necessity in our civilization.
As for teaching children to hate that is just another form of abuse that can cause as much harm as many others. A child sporting a swastika can invoke retaliation just as easily as they can provoke others. There is no need for the sins of the parent's to be visited on the children.
Even though I will never have all the details and information regarding this story, however, I am unwilling to jump to the conclusion that the government complete with an overburdened and underfunded system just knee jerked those kids out that home with no cause at all.

I wish we could vote for proportional representation, somehow that isn't on the ballot. I believe, although I have not confirmed it yet, that what this is about is Bill 42 or some such bill. I heard a vague bit on the news yesterday.
Now I am off to google it and get my facts straight!
edit....some sections of this Bill is what has people up in arms. Somewhere it is limiting the amount of advertising allowed.

Perhaps the Physicians that were so in need of stroking and inflating their egos that they forgot about responsible patient counsel and treatment can buck up to support the herd.
It is just plain sad that this kind of circus act is allowed and freaking well promoted.
What a train wreck!!

I have to say, yup, what he said ^^^^^^(edit oops...looks like his post is gone...zoinks!!)
I honestly do not believe in ignoring things that bother you when they arise within a relationship, nothing good can ever come from that!
Funny, the older I have gotten, the less I get into these emotional dramatic scenarios. (thank goodness). It is so much easier for me to say to someone you know "I really feel x, y, z when q,r,s happens and I really cannot tolerate, appreciate etc it happening. This empowers both you and them as it identifies something that bothers you and they know if this is integral to who they are or just something that happened. Sure it may mean that you figure out that the relationship will not develop into anything greater because of it but it is so much easier to handle than swallowing one's feelings until they erupt!
Let's face it people, we are all who we are. There really will be no denying that. What we all hope to find is someone who sees us for who we are and accepts us anyway and we can reciprocate in kind.

Victoria - frosty city?
Posted:

I found/find that Victoria was/is a tough town to break into in a social sense. Of course, I always attributed it to the fact that I moved here when my kids were grown and I wasn't out and about in different social settings/venues accompanying them in their activities.
I thought it over and realized that the majority of the friendships I had developed in my adult years had been based on common ground through my children (either their extracurricular activities or school ones). Meeting through the children's friends and of course, when you meet people with common ground you have that footing to establish relationships. Also, I find meeting people at my stage and age of life, they already have a solid circle of friends so they are less likely to broaden that circle to include more.
So, to sum it up, yes I find it chilly in Victoria. (I just always thought it was for the reasons above and not the folks themselves).

To steal a line from Dr Seuss "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"
Honestly, if you feel like calling, then call. If this is misinterpreted best find out right now. I for one am so not a player of games, and you would be surprised how many people out there would agree. (even if they may not say it with their outside voice).

Welfare recipients with money to burn!
Posted:

Nothing frosts my cookies more than the people who use and abuse the social safety net, and yes, there is a very large component of people on the system who know exactly what they have to do in order to keep up their abuse.
There is no quick and easy fix or solution to this problem either. In order to regulate the user case loads have to be manageable. Sadly there have been so many cuts to front end service positions within the provincial govt, the vast majority of workers never meet the client face to face anymore. It is all done by phone call and drop off of paper work. There was a lot to be said for face to face interviews and home visits. That however, has gone by the way of the dinosaur.
That is one of the only ways to actually begin regulatory efforts. There is much that is picked up with body language and what is unsaid in an interview process, now the scammers have the ability to just talk on a phone, no one can see them and with that anonymity comes a whole lot of power and control.
Funnily enough there is no end to the public biatching about people abusing the system and biatching about public servants. Amazingly the only way anyone is going to get a handle on this "dole out" is to have people managing it, face to face. Then they can follow up on suspicious actions etc.
Anyone who has a legitimate need for the assistance has nothing to fear if more stringent application and ongoing support processes were implemented.

Graduate degrees

Okay, I will admit to not reading this whole thread and just feel compelled to go forth and spill an opinion (which may have been beaten to death already, if so, my apologies for skipping).
There are many people who are amazingly fantastic students. I know several who have numerous degrees and I will admit that they are very smart, some of them brilliant even. I cannot go so far as to agree that they are able to apply their knowledge in a practical sense just because of their education. Some of them lack common sense and it is actually shocking when you find out what they are unable to grasp given their innate ability to regurgitate all forms and types of data on a dime. Perhaps that is what keeps them pursuing education rather than careers??
I admire anyone who has been dedicated and privileged enough to obtain their advanced degrees. Can I say that I believe this paper should open doors that others who have been learning from the ground up have slammed in their faces? No way, no how. Sometimes it really is just paper in a frame.......that and making a great Jeopardy contestant.

Woman gives birth to eight babies.....

They health care professionals gave her the choice to selectively abort.
I agree, they could have, or should have, been more persuasive with that option, but alas are not legally compelled to do... at this time.
To clarify my argument, I believe that a more responsible health care professional would have measured risks more responsibly and implanted less embryos to begin with, thereby negating the need for the decision at all.
Just sayin.......

Even at the best of times and most optimal conditions having a child (a single child) born healthy is at best, a crap shoot.
Add to that complications of premature birth and that crap shoot gets far more dicey.
I have to wonder if this family would be receiving all these offers if these children had been born with exceptional health care needs....maybe 6 born with Cerebral Palsy for instance.........which could have happened quite easily with the premature delivery etc.
I know that my oldest grandson, who is the absolute love of my life bar none, was born to my healthy daughter (in the prime of her life, having had a healthy normal pregnancy) with exceptional health care and support needs. It was unforeseen and unexpected. It definitely takes a village to raise this one child......he has extra supports from medical professional, numerous therapists and of course his fan club (the family).
I just try and imagine what this woman would do if she had just one child born with this kind of extra support need, never mind a half dozen....which could oh so easily have happened.
I reserve my judgement not to her and her decisions (regardless of how practical I may believe they are), I have to really question the health care professionals who promoted and allowed this to happen. They are the ones I have to wonder about I mean really what were their intentions here? This is a project that could have so easily gone wrong.....and I don't think that TLC would be picking up the series of look at me and all my special needs children.....although....they could have likely got an Extreme Home out of it .
At the end of the day, what does this say about our society?

Yeah, I don't think she will get a TV show, they already have enough of those with the Jon & Kate plus 8 and the other ones with 17 kids. Missed the boat for that golden opportunity.
As for being a burden on society, well the social safety net isn't quite as encompassing for our neighbours in the south as it is for us. I do believe it will be incredibly hardship.
Overall, I have to fault the medical practitioners who amazingly allowed such a ridiculous misuse of the process. Fortunately those children were born healthy, imagine if they had all presented with exceptional support needs as could easily be the case when pushing the envelope as they did. What would have happened then??
I think the pendulum has swung way too far......seems we have a tendency to do that in modern day society.......way too far in this direction. No longer was this procedure done to allow people who wouldn't be able to have a child bear one.....now we have a grotesque misuse of the technology.

Woman kills daughter because boyfriend asked her to choose

This supports the argument that there should be a license to breed. I followed this story from the report of the missing child all the way through to today's sentencing. This woman should have never been allowed to procreate....she can't even fault crime of passion with her daughter pleading her to stop.
What an example of a very sick demented mind. Lets face it if in fact she was responding to an ultimatum.......send the daughter to live with dad, a relative, foster care.....the options are endless.
It is disgusting........no excuse is acceptable for her actions.
