ya, in real life..and the online dating thing it happens a lot for sure.. the waiting waiting waiting thing....lol this subject has been beat to death many times.. about the kid in the candy store state of mind..way to many choices.. the online thing is harder..because the pictures only tell part of the story that is you.. chances are if we met in real life..there would be way more connections.. you can't see who that person really is..with a few pictures and some posts.. that only a select few read or participate in.. you have to do what feels right for you..in the end we all settle.. we settle for the one we end up with at that time..:) you always have to be careful what you want or wish for.. because you just might get it..only to find out.. it wasn't what you thought it was going to be.. the new chapter always arrives when you least expect it.. (((happily whistling with head in the air..not expecting anything..LOL..)))

my 7 yr old loves halo 3 & rock band..... he took his rock band to our friends place.....they have teenage kids.... and they all played rock band together....yr 7 yr old wouldn't give up the microphone.. they video taped him rock'in out, enter sandman...which is cute because he can't read.. he was singing that and other songs from memory... my friends were amazed he could sing it from memory... my little guy has many games from all the systems... none that he likes more than halo 3 & rock abnd.... he's going to get a kick out of his new Wii christmas morning.... it the only system he doesn't have....he's played Wii before so i know he likes it... Good luck

Do you think we can achieve peace on earth in our lifetime? in a word no.....it will never happen in any life time.... as long as you have two people left on earth...you're going to have some kind of conflict... conflict keeps us honest....if people agree on everything...someones not being honest.. we're all different with different ideas and beliefs... you don't learn much from agreements..you learn more from differences... it's up to you what level you take it to... but it's going to happen over & over again ...until the end of time... i would like to see peace on earth...realistically it's not going to happen.. in this or any other life time...i don't see peace happening anytime soon...:( it's a nice concept though...peace on earth

a little ole lady having trouble finding the right size frozen turkey... ask's the stock boy if he thinks the turkey's will get any bigger before Christmas... ya.....like i seriously don't think so .. they're all dead... under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's.... you can do that in january when you have nothing else to do... this is a time for long naps...which you'll need after circling the buffet table... while carrying a ten pound plate of food... the next time you get to mindlessly eat this much desert will probably be thanksgiving... wishing you all a healthy and happy holiday ....

It was the last call my dad ever made to me. sorry to hear that... condolences to you & your family... i regret losing the sopranos & the trailer park boys when their shows ended... even though all those characters still seem to be alive and well in my neighborhood..... i regret that i'm starting to feel better being single ...than being with someone... it's way less complicated & way less work.... now if i can just figure out how to make sex night as much fun being single... i'll have the situation licked....maybe a friends with benefits and movie night... i regret there might not be any movies on those nights.....

vanity isn't worth damaging one's hearing over. i don't care who see's that i have ear plug's in....why would i.. it's better that they see my ear plug's...than it would be for them to see my hearing aid.. not that there's anything wrong with hearing aids...but if you can avoid having to use one.. then why wouldn't you?... i had my ear plug's in last night at metallica....and was glad i had them.. they weren't near as loud as ac/dc though...but they were still loud enough to warrant ear plug's... i guess if you only go to 1 or 2 shows a yr it you might think it's no big deal about the plug's.. even then over the yrs you're jeopardizing your hearing.. every yr of my life i've went to almost every concert event ... everything from country,comedy to rock and everything in between... i hope to be able to be able to still hear them for many yrs to come.....

I have read that noise over 80 decibals for over 30 minutes or longer will damage your ears. it's true i've been exposed to levels well over 80 decibals for more than a half an hour....... and i can't hear a thing you're writing.....what's that i can't hear you....lol....j/k.. i know after ac/dc on friday i can never go to another concert of any kind.... without at least having ear plugs with me... i think that there is a very small chance i won't use them ...depending on what band it is.. but i will always have the option to wear them or not wear them... because i will never go without them again..i can't afford too!!! i'm finding the older i get... that old people didn't get to be old people ..by being too care free with anything...

i've seen hundreds of concert's...in my life time... but in the last couple of yrs i've been concerned about the noise levels... i now where ear plugs at concerts... i love to people watch at concerts ...that's half the fun for me ... it's not just about the music for me..it's just as much a social thing..as it is the music.. i went to ac/dc on friday and everyone i was with and spoke to all said it was way to loud..... i had ear plugs in and still have a little trouble hearing in my left ear right now 3 days later.. so when i went to Disturbed on sunday i made sure they were in there good and tight.. and i could still hear them clear as a bell..i'll be taking them with me on tues. to metallica...for sure.. i'll bring them with me on friday to cheech and chong and play it by ear..lol..;) if put them in or not... there's no band or function worth losing my hearing over...:)

looking back my children would of had to get and keep a job.. at a very early age.. i grew up dirt poor..so i had no way of knowing that to much.. is just bad as not enough.. i didn't discover this until it was a way to late... what do you get when you spoil your kids rotten?.............. rotten kids.. looking back i would have saved every penny i ever spent needlessly...for this a rainy day.. i would have saved every penny i spent needlessly.... thinking i was investing in my future...what a joke.. and the jokes on me.... it's true what they say though..a Fool & his money soon go separate ways...

are you gonna dust off the old synthetic one hidden in the closets? i'm gonna dig out the same one as last yr down in the weight room under the stairs.. i don't think i'll do the big display outside this yr... it's way to much work and i just don't have the time or the inclination.. they probably wouldn't last long in the yard this year.. without the fence around the front yard anymore.... since the city informed me that my fence was 25 ft out on city property.... i had the time barley to take it all down ...but very little time to get it back up.. such a big job to move $$$ the electric gate opener back then ..... recement it back in place and then cement the fence posts $$$...... i really like the christmas tunes and i don't think nov. 1st is to early to start them.. it's almost time to dig the tree out... christmas can bring out the best.. in the worst...sometimes.. i'm trying to teach my little guy that christmas isn't just presents... it's the feeling you have for your family and friends at this time of yr .. christmas isn't what's under your tree it's what's in your heart...
