I don't think so. I was born in Arkansas and raised in Texas. Married 3 cousins and a half brother,Nah! I'm kidding All my cousins were too damn ugly. Anyway I have always been attracted to men from up North. My family has threatened to disown me. Like I care,hell there aren't even any cute cousins in that family!

I think in the back of my mind, to maybe finally be something in their eyes. This bothered me. I think if you are something in your eyes that is all that should matter. My sons girlfriends family look down their noses at him. They are very wealthy and his family is not. One day he came home after visiting her at their beautiful 2 story home. He said,"Momma I wouldn't trade what we have for what they have for any amount of money". I said," Well hun we don't have much". He said."We have love,there is no love in that house." Be honest about your parents. I think of my sons g/f like a daughter. I don't judge her for something she can't help. You are not responsible for their actions. A loving family won't judge you. I wish I could give you a big hug. I think you need a lot of those.

I am just sick at heart. It seems like every time I turn on the news I hear about another child murdered by their own parents. In Rusk Texas a toddler of 13 months was beat to death with a hammer. She also had bite marks all over her body. The boyfriend did this while the mother watched. Reason? Demon possessed. The child, not the killer. The devil made me do it,no wait,God told me to do it. Now this. When I saw the pictures of that beautiful little girl I broke down and cried. I have always tried to find good in anyone I knew. I can find nothing good in this person. I look at my own precious grandson and my mind can not even fathom a person doing something like this to a child. I hope they throw the entire court room at both of them. She is just as guilty as him. I'll be watching that case in Rusk. I will not be surprised to hear an insanity plea. My hear is broken for that poor child.

I am a very lucky person in that I have a great immune system. I work in a Nursing Home and I am surrounded by just about anything you can think of. My best defense is hand washing and wearing gloves.

Honor and Pride. Two words I heard a lot while in the Army. Well there is no Honor or Pride in cheating. A uniform does not make a person cheat. Cheaters are everywhere. I had many male friends in the Army. Some cheated, some didn't. No not with me. My nature doesn't allow me to hurt another person that way. It is not all his fault and I don't blame him. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Then whose fault was it? Explain to me then how as it I knew plenty of men that did not cheat? Excuses for a cheater. What crap!! Where was his respect for you? Most important where is your respect for yourself? You don't deserve that.

I served in the Army for 10 years. I feel lost out here . They were my family. I have never found the closeness and friendship I had while in the military. Only those who have served will understand how I feel.

I just thought of something my son did to me. I came home from work a little after 6am and as I walked towards my porch I saw a large snake on my front steps. Well I was pretty darn tired and I thought to myself,look snake I am going in that house and you are not going to stop me! I grabbed up a hoe and started slicing it up. My son came running out and hollered ," Stop it mom you are destroying my RUBBER SNAKE!!" Guess I showed that snake who was boss!

My ex stayed friends with my entire family. Worked on my moms car and my brothers. He and my oldest son went fishing together. Then,my son stole his girlfriend!! I was to say the least,shocked!! My mom is not happy about it,she told him."You messed everything and now when my car breaks down you can pay to get it fixed". I treat her well and keep my mouth shut. Dang it,I'm starting to like her. Oh and in case someone hollers it's because we are from Texas,she is a damn yankee! Yankee - Someone from the north that comes for a visit and then goes home. Damn Yankee - Someone from the North that come to visit and stays!! I'm teasing,I like people from all over the world.

I have never thought of myself as hot. If I hear a man whistle I always assume there has to be another woman near me. I dated a guy who thought I was beautiful. He said I reminded him of the song,She don't know she's beautiful. He was sweet and we were in love. I chalked it up to love being blind. My wish is for inner beauty. I hope that anyone I become friends with will remember me for what I am on the inside. I know how the outer part ends up. I see it every day where I work. You know one of the most beautiful woman I ever knew was 95. she filled me with joy every time we talked.

My birthday is Christmas Eve. I still remember when I was told all the lights and decorations were not for me! I was devastated. I will be working this year.Seeing naked bodies and chasing men. Sounds fun huh? Not really,I work at a Nursing Home and I have one resident that like to take his clothes off and try to escape. Story of my life,naked men running from me!!

Yesterday would have been my daughters 28th birthday. I lost her to SIDS when she was 6 weeks old. Time has helped ease the pain but I still have days when I hurt so bad I can barley stand it. No one knew how to treat me when she died what to say,how to act. I thought I would lose my mind and I even prayed I would . All I can tell you is be patient with her. My heart goes out to all who have lost a child.

I have a friend who has 2 boas. He has a sign on his door saying,Beware of snakes. In the 20 years I have known him his house has never been locked or broke into. I sit patiently on the porch and wait for him!! I find snakes interesting and some even beautiful but I'm not going in his house alone.

I was stationed in Germany when that happened. There was a party going on in my boyfriends room and I wrote his name and the date he died on the wall. When I woke up the next morning it seemed like a dream. I went to that room and there it was. No dream. My daughter was born the following year on Dec. 8,1981.

I hear the words fixed income and I think. Hey I'm on a fixed income. My check is the same every two weeks. Only difference is I could be fired and my income is gone. Many people are on fixed incomes that haven't retired. Maybe they retired before their jobs took away the last shred of sanity.

It took me a long time but after years of living in the woods eating grub worms and pine trees I finally got him out of my head. Sadly staff is scheduled according to how many patients there They don't take in account the level of care these patients need. Say you have 20 patients and 15 are walkie talkies,the other 5 bed patients you get more staff. Now if that was to drop to 10 patients that are all bed patients needing a lot of time and attention they would say censes is low so not as much staff. It sucks. Nurses are so bogged down with paperwork they barley have time left for direct patient care. I do direct patient care. One day I did the math and I was able to be in each room 5 minutes! If Mr Jones needed 15 minutes that meant someone elses time was shortened. When they start caring more about people than they do about money things will change. I'm not holding my breath.I have worked with some sorry nurses and a lot of wonderful ones. I'm sorry your mom went through all that and I hope you can make a difference. Trust me there are those of us that work with patients every day that want to scream and pull our hair out because we feel so frustrated. Not at out patients but at the big wigs that sit in their office and decide we are super humans. We are,the majority of us mere humans who care a great deal about your loved ones. Reading your message makes me want to try even harder to give the best care I can.

Aw I'm sorry you were treated like that. I know my feelings would be hurt. The boyfriends and girlfriends that go to first time get togethers at my families house are treated just like family. The more they tease you the better they like you. I still remember one Christmas a cousins new wife decided to be helpful. She threw all the wrapping paper and it was a lot in the fireplace. Too much!! we had pretty firetruck lights that Christmas. That was 20 years ago. Do you think anyone let her forget it? Hell no! every year we say,"So ya gonna try to burn the house down this year"?I just told that hoping you might get a little smile from it.

I was stationed in Germany when my baby died. My best friend went in and packed up everything while I was on leave in Texas for her funeral. It ment a lot to me not having to go back to that apartment. She saved the outfit I brought her home in when she was born.
