Glenn Zimmerman from Fox 2 news this morning said it will be a high of 80 on Sat. And SUNNY so hopefully it WILL feel warmer!!! I like his forecast better then a high of 77!! If anyone is coming down early afternoon tomorrow, Robyn and I will be hopefully catching some rays at the beach so feel free to grab your cooler and beach chair and come on down and join us!!!!! I floated last month and the weather was exactaly like this, but overcast and the nights were cool!! I made the mistake of not bringing long pants with me that time! I will NOT be making that same mistake this weekend!!!!!

My buddy Steve is talking about going down Thursday nite to set up his RV and I know him and his gf are staying over Sunday nite too. If he gets set up Thursday nite I will be heading down bright and early Friday morning so i can get some time on the beach catching some rays that afternoon!!!!!!!

I LOVE my kids, but personally I float to get AWAY FROM THEM!!!! My 18 year old is floating this weekend. When he left on Thursday, he comes in my room and says (trying to get me all fired up i'm sure).... "I'm going to see B00bies ALLLLLLLLL WEEKEND!!!!!! I said......."GOOD, PLEASE GOOOOOOOOOOO and look at every b00bie you can ALLLLLLL weekend!!! Just get it out of your system already! " Which is why..... in my humble opinion... kids do NOT belong on the river on a saturday in the summer EVER!

Ahh Sheila your going to Troy Homecoming tonight?? My 13 year old missed it last nite cause we were at the Muny and he was withdrawing. He is BEGGING to go tonight and is wanting to hook up with his buddies and "check out the girls" lmao! I"m still trying to figure out a way to make it to FE tonight Jai! And Skippy if i happen to be in Alton tonight I will definatly come by where you bud is playing. I love his band. If all else fails me and Robyn can always do the fabulous little mexican restaurant with killer $14 pitchers of Margaritas if all else fails!!!! The Queen tribute band was great!! They played all my Queen fav's!! Skippy I had a great time at Eddies. You buddy's band totally rocks out! I would love to see them again sometime. They are a flash back to the 80's!! And a couple of their original songs were awesomeeeeeeeeeee toooo!!!!!! You and Kelli slow danced to one of them and I loved that song! Do you remember the name of it?! Hope you had a great birthday weekend!!!!!!!!!!

It was great seeing you all last nite!! Sorry, I had to pass on the putt putt, it was just too dang hot for me!! Hey Joe... did Robert shuttle you around tooooo last nite?? we went to fridays, then closed down Johnny's on Main. They had this group of older country looking guys playing last nite who could play alot of jazz, some old rock, some country. You name it!!!!!! They are called Mondinband and they were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! I got their card and they go to Johnny's once a month. Anyways they were great and since u are in the same town, thought I'd tell ya!! Next time like you said, we can all ride together and split the fare!!!!! That sounds great to meeeeeeee!!

Hey J.. Congratulations on your son's graduation! My son graduated a couple weeks ago and just seeing him walk in with his cap and gown on was as completly overwhelming experience as the day he was born. I couldn't help but cry (I was seriously holding back from sobbing!!!!!! lol) and I swore I wasn't going to do it. Being a peds nurse I know exactally what your son has gone through in life. I see kids like him at work every day and God knows nothing comes easy!! I can only begin to imagine the pride you felt when he was able to go up and receive his diploma on his own accord. God Bless him!! Miracles do happen!! Your story reaaaally touched me. Thanks for sharing. I just want to remind you that his graduation and successes at life are directly related to the great parenting and years of unconditional love and support that he's gotten from YOU and significant others in his life!! Great job, Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was awesome seeing everyone last nite at the party and I (as always) had a great time! Kenny and Lance thanks for the beers and Bay thanks for the aggravation!!!!!! The food was great, and I'll be warming up left overs shortly!! I walked earlier in the day in the Race for the Cure with a group of girls from the OR at Glennon where I work. We lost a co-worker to breast cancer this past March named Mary Louise Otto. She was cancer free for 15 years and it relapsed 2 years ago. She fought to the end with the MOST grace and courage I think I have ever witnessed!!!!! RIP MLO! And I ALWAYS walk in honor of my Mom who is a 3 year survivor! I am uploading a few of those pics! Enjoy!

I have always felt this question was about "status". I went to Collinsville High School (yes in Illinois!! i know it's hard to believe we actually choose to live here) thats about as boring and low on the social scale as u can get.. LOL Honestly I don't think this question is about going to catholic schools. I attended them thru out grade school and freshman year in high school and i never got the impression that question was about that. And as far as churches go.. Jeanne is right. Grace is an awesome non-demoninational church i've been attending since last summer. Its on McKelvey in Maryland Heights.

My friend will be wearing the veil at the bachelorette party tonight........... NOT MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! (Bay... I just know u are thinking some smart A$$ comment right about NOW! Puh-leaseee spare meeee!!) I haven't been to a bachelorette party in YEARS!!! And I'm really excited about this one. OHHHHHH sooooooo bummed that IM's have been discontinued. Ever seen a grown woman cry? WELL here she is!!! I have thought for days that somehow I had disable my IM's and have been searching around trying to find the problem, and finally found my way here.. Personally I don't like giving out my personal yahoo ID's or my email addy's until I chat a few times with someone. Used this IM as someone said earlier as a screening tool to see if I even want to go that far. This is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE inconvience. Admins.. Please bring back the IM's!!!!!

I would have to say the first ever East Side POF party was a complete success!!!!!! THANKS SHEILA!! Great job!! The band absolutely ROCKED OUT!! We danced ALL nite. As someone said earlier, I am also a product of the 80's so I knew every song they did. They were fantastic and I would definately love to see them again!! I thought Sharky's staff did a good job keeping up with the crowd. Food was great and the wait was no longer then usual. I know Sharky's loved the fishies and i will bet you money they will continue to give us deals for more parties! A pool tournament would be awesome there with almost 20 tables. Then afterwards everyone could move to the band side if they wanted! I betcha Sherry the owner would go for something like that with the crowds we pull in! Met lots of new fishies, and it was great seeing ALL my old POF bud's again... with Skippy and Bay at the top of the list!!!!!

We used Riverbend Taxi for Mardi Gras this year and Robert the owner was very accommodating for our group and I would definately recommend him for taxi service anytime!! You can call him anytime day or nite and he will usually arrive within 15-20 minutes! Its a beautiful thing when one has been to excess!! I do have ONE coupon for the Econo Lodge for one room for 39.99 so if anyone wants it email me or i'll bring it along tonight in my purse, so just ask! Sheila the sign ups LOOK GREAT for a party in a "corn field"! If i start off the party with Shots of Whiskey at 7pm.. I'll be calling Robert for a ride home tonight!
