Yea, the thing that got me was that he came and seen my first child after she was born, held her and everything...then after I had my second, I guess he changed his mind.

I'm not to happy with JW's right now. My grandpa is a JW and practically disowned me because I have 2 children and not married...He believes that they aren't his blood...therefore he doesn't even recognize that I have kids. Any idea how hurtful that is to hear?

How do you feel about prayer in school?
Posted:
11/1/2005 8:47:34 PM
The silent time, I feel works best. That way everyone can do something, whether it is prayer, meditation, etc, even read. I'm not christian or anything like that so I am not too happy when I have to sit through a prayer and be expected to bow my head and say "Amen"

the eBay way... share your tips for on line auctions

Speaking of this, a caveat...some sellers have a handy little scam going: sure, you can get the item cheaply...but then the shipping calculator spits out $25 or more for Priority Mail shipping?!? On a sub-1 pound item?!? CHECK the shipping calculator, folks!
Oh I HATE that! Look at something that is like $1 and then look at shipping and its $20-$30...sometimes thats more expensive than the store. I actually saw something, can't remember what it was, but the shipping was $95 for a $15 item!!!!!! And this thing probably could have been shipped for $10 max...
Whats the word for that, fee circumvention?

Mu2~ I've sold items that i didn't think i would get sh*t off of, who would have guessed that you can sell a video game for $100? Guess that game was RARE!!! The buyer didn't buy insurance (which i stated was optional) so I bought it for him, same with a breast pump I sold on there...I couldn't imagine spending that much money on something and it end up lost in the mail....I had to buy it for them, wouldn't have felt right if i didn't

I've bought 2 hard drives, 1 dvd-rom/cd-r, a dvd burner off of ebay, car speakers, car radios, etc...never paid more than $40 for any of it...hell the dvd burner i bought (one of the high end ones) i got it for $35 (including shipping.) IF you are going to buy those things, make sure they state that it is guaranteed against DOA and they will refund your money if it is. If it significantly not as described, meaning they say it works and it doesn't, or not received, normally ebay will make them refund your money. OR you can just use Paypal, they guarantee the sales too. IF you send money orders, get delivery confirmation on them, I actually had someone say that they never recieved the money....HA!!! I showed them! LOL
also, if it is high priced, BUY INSURANCE!!!!!! <-----can't stress that enough.
My mom bought a Franklin Mint dragon off of there (these things go up to $200 on ebay and $500 in the catalog) and it was ALL busted up, she contacted the seller and he refunded all her money and the money it cost to ship it back to him...That, i will admit, is a rarity..
Smile~ did you not get ebay to refund your money?

I buy darn near everything but food from eBay
Same as me!!
If I see something that I want, I check ebay first! Well worth it to get something that would normally cost an arm and a leg for cheap...My latest catch is a $130 digital camera for $20 (including shipping)
More tips:
1) Make sure you don't get in a bidding war, you could end up spending more than you would in a store.
Ex. Say you want a PS2, you see one on ebay for $100, you decide to get it, you get outbid, you bid again, and get outbid again, etc. You finally win the item and it costs you over $200... note: PS2's are only $150 brand new in stores
2) Always check the shipping and include it as the max you will spend.
Ex. Say you want something and are only willing to spend $40 on it, make sure to include the s/h in that total...meaning if the s/h is $10, make your max bid as $30

Now that is pretty screwed up!!! I don't understand how a seller can do that to people
I bet the people who won it felt like real idiots....
OT: Read the description of the item offer REALLY CAREFULLY!!!!!!!
If selling, make sure to take care of your buyers.

I know how it is hun, I lost my best friend to murder 8 years ago, and I still cry on his birthday and the day they found him. Its not something you can get over easily...It will take years...
Like the above poster said, just let it out when the feelings arise...they say that tears are the best comfort for people. Did you ever go to counseling? If not, this is the time to do it. You should talk to someone, they can help you out....

Add more to your 'About Me',
you write
so maybe ill hear from you, maybe i wont
<-----that seems a bit standoffish, like you don't care at all. Add some paragraphs.
Also, your pictures look goofy and put your third picture up as your main picture (just my opinion)

Diet tips
Posted:
10/16/2005 7:48:39 PM
I found this really neat diet...Its called the 2 cup diet:
Don't eat more than what you can fit in 2 cups, and you can practically eat what you want (sensibly) the only thing about it is, your drink is also included in the 2 cup diet. The only exception to this diet is if it is calorie free or very low calorie (like salads and water.) And you eat every 2-4 hrs.
Ex. If you have 1 cup of pepsi, you can only eat 1 cup of something.
If you have water with your meal, you can eat 2 cups of something

I know exactly what you mean! But ours is a bit worse off....there are 56-60 apts where I live and only 9 washers and 9 dryers and half the time only half work!!! Thankfully my mom only lives 5 mins away, I just go and use hers. They should be more considerate. First come, first serve shouldn't be allowed, I think they should designate times and days that certain apts can wash/dry clothes.
I would love to find a small washer/dryer to put in my apt, but there aren't any hookups, so I would have to find one that hooks up to the faucet and is ventless. I know they make them, just gotta find it. Can't get the spinny one because we aren't allowed to hang clothes to dry anywhere on the property....

JOHNSON A GOOD DRIVER? WHAT RACE WERE YOU WATCHING?
Lets see,
1) in 2002 he won 3 races and 5 poles, avg finish was 13th
2) in 2003 he won 3 races and finished 2nd in points, avg finish was 11th
3) in 2004 he won 8 races and finished 2nd in points, avg finish was 12th
4) so far in 2005 he's won 3 races and the next 3 tracks he won at last year, avg finish is 12th
In my opinion that is a damn good driver....
