Peyton can’t win when it counts...

blame the kicker if anyone.
If the referees did their jobs properly, the kicker never should have had a chance to kick a field goal to tie it, anyway.
The overturning of the Polamalu interception was absolutely ridiculous. The only person in the world that didn't think it was an interception was the referee in charge.
From what I remember Peyton could never win a big game in college, either. I don't know if he ever beat Florida. The year after he left, Tennesee won the national championship with Tee Martin as QB, what does that tell you.

I think the Colts took the Steelers too lightly. The team they beat earlier this year was not the team that beat them today. Ben was just back from knee surgery and a couple other guys either got hurt in the game or didn't play healthy.
The score today should have been a lot more lopsided than it ended up. The Colts got beat and beat up by a more physical team. A "finesse" team can't win in the playoffs. It's almost always a physical offensively balanced team that wins except for the Rams a few years back and you see where they're at now.
When the Steelers have home field advantage, it's the kiss of death for them, it's not all it's cracked up to be, for them anyways. I think the better team won today and it was not the Colts!
I do feel bad for Tony Dungy, he seems like a good guy, but he can't win the big game. He couldn't do it in Tampa, either. As soon as he left, they won. Hopefully, Bill Cowher can finally win the big game this year.

Sidney Crosby
Posted:

I've seen a lot of the Pens games this year and Crosby is one of the most physical guys on the ice. He has basically carried the team. The one game he drew 6 penalties because of his never give up on a play attitude. He gets hit all the time and alot of times he's doing the hitting. Anyone that says he doesn't get hit or can't take a hit is wrong. He can dish it out and he can take it.
I bet his critics would like him better if he was on their team.

Char2 With the exception of a couple of games, the Pens have been playing pretty well,
lately.
Monteal had a lot of good scoring chances late in the game, Thibault actually stopped
them, surprisingly.
How about Sidney, he's been the best player on the Pens this year. He is always
working hard. The puck just seems to find him and he knows what to do with it.

...that it's not right for her to dump me...
Some chatting, 1st date, and an uneventful 2nd date (I'm assuming) don't constitute a relationship therefore I don't think she really dumped you. I think it was a relationship that hadn't really started, yet.
Your first feelings or instincts were correct. Usually when you feel that way, something has given you the reason.
Quit wasting your time thinking about her and move on. That's my opinion.
Most people keep a few on the line in case the others don't work out, maybe that's what she was doing with you?

Needy, in my opinion, is basing your happiness on someone else. To not be needy you need to have your own life, your own hobbies and things that you like to do on your own. If you can't ever be happy when you're alone, then that would be needy, in my opinion.

I definitely wouldn't give up on this site, if I was you. Where else can someone from Colorado talk about their life with someone from England? It just doesn't happen in everyday life. You get different perspectives from different people from all over the world. It's pretty cool. It's worth being here just for the forums.

PhyneLiquor
That is a terrible story. It's a shame that it came to that. If the authorities did a better job protecting girls in that situation, that wouldn't happen so often. A restraining order obviously does no good, because that guy didn't let it stop him. If he is capable of murder what good is a restraining order? None
As a nice guy I can say that I would never hurt a girl.

^^^ With the average "nice guy" that's probably true, but, you don't have to be a "bad boy", though, to have a personality and a backbone. You can be nice and still not be a "doormat" to the rest of the world. That's all I'm saying. I consider myself to be a nice guy but no one walks all over me and I can carry on a conversation with people about all kinds of things.
Amy Marie It's kind of funny you cut up on nice guys but you don't even have a picture on

Once A Week
Posted:

35 minutes away isn't that far away to come over more than once a week. Maybe you could go to his house once a week, too, so he isn't the only one that has to drive to the other one's house, if he is that busy and tired. If you are not happy with the present arrangement, then you need to change it. It will just continue the way it is if you don't say something.

I have and she was not really what she said was. She described her body type as "curvy". I didn't expect "curvy" to be paper thin. I knew she wouldn't be skinny but she was just fat. We got along real well and had a good time but she was not what I was looking for, weight wise. A few extra pounds would have been fine but not that many extra. I see now why she didn't want to let me see a picture. I'll just chalk it up as experience and go on.
You never know when you might give someone without a picture a chance and she may be really nice, fun to be with, and pretty, too. I'm still willing to give someone a chance without a picture.

I think Lemieux can keep up for the most part, provided he stays healthy. What he lacks in speed and endurance, I think he makes up for with his passing ability.
It's amazing to have a #1, #2, and #1 pick in consecutive years, although I think the Fleury pick was the result of a trade with Florida (#4 pick+? for #1 pick). I think.
It was also cool when Fleury was up here, they had 3 #1 picks playing together: Crosby, Fleury, and Lemieux.

You're right about the offense, but they didn't beat Brodeur very well in the two games against the Devils. Thibault played poorly in those two games, also. That didn't help any.
I think if they keep Lemieux and Crosby on the same line, they'll score a lot of goals. They will start blowing teams out of the water. It doesn't matter how many the other team scores, if you score more.
I wish they had Evgeni Malkin (not sure about spelling) this year. I think he would have helped out a lot. He's supposed to be pretty good. I'm not sure what they have to do to get him here next year.

Here is hoping that Pittsburgh is playing Fleury when I go..
I hope so too. I know it's early but Thibault sure doesn't seem like the answer. I have more faith in Caron right now. It doesn't really matter, though, who it is, if the defense doesn't play better. I think they turned the corner, thursday night. They're going to be better from here on in.

I bet if you had it to do all over again, you would have gone to more games in the 80s in Edmonton. When you have a real good team like that, you don't always appreciate it, til it's gone.

I actually haven't gone to any games in a while. It's a shame cause they are not that far away from me: 45 mins. I always watch them on t.v. I'm going to have to go see Mario & Sidney play together. They need to keep those two playing on the same line and on the same power play unit.

When you have Mario and now Sidney, anything is possible. No lead is safe.
Gonchar looked a lot better, too. LeClair even got two goals. They've needed someone to stand in front of the net, like LeClair does, and get the rebounds.

That Pens game looked like it was pretty exciting last night..
I watched the entire game. It looked, at first when it was 4-0, as if it was going to be another one of those games but Mario scored and opened up the floodgates. They scored 6 power play goals in the game. It was a really good game to watch.
