Republicans taunt and mock objective journalism...
Posted: 8/10/2008 8:52:03 AM
lets face it, fox only "lies" if you have a liberal agenda. they have never been caught in any kind of fabrication, but the liberals are spreading the "lie" BS to get a hook on the "bush lied" theme, that rallying cry that was successful when the broken, dispirited democratic party, tried to rebuild itself after the kerry loss, which was a major disaster.

is it "lying" if you dont spend 80% of your air time on the democratic campaign? no, i means you are just not a democratic campaign worker. maybe you are objective? hey, there's a new concept!

its really the networks that lie, and slant so heavily that they have CREATED the niche for fox.

ive asked here over and over who is fairer than fox, who has liberals in residence, with their own shows, and features a liberal on EVERY op-ed segment. never have i gotten a response.

sorry liberals, its a center-right country, thats what built it and made it survive in a hostile world. the mainstream isnt so stupid that it doesnt know when its being electioneered. thats why fox is recording the high viewership it does, and growing.

fox hasnt been caught in any lies, but "lies" if you are a liberal, because you have an agenda. in fact, fox is the closest thing to balance on television. not devoting 80% of your air time to the democratic campaign doesnt mean you are lying, it means you arent a democratic campaign worker.

the liberals here have gone on and on about fox is the top rated news provider now, ever wonder why that is? because the mainstream isnt stupid, it can figure out when its being electioneered.

and its hip, cool trendy to say "fox lies" just like its hip cool trendy to say "bush lied", the rallying point for a broken, disheartened, leaderless drifting democratic party that found itself on the ropes after the horrible kerry disaster. but thats BS because gw bush didnt promise me anything, and if you think he did, i can certainly understand how you might be tossed out of marriage after marriage in your personal life.

Attempt to Intimidate GOP Donors
Posted: 8/9/2008 8:48:54 PM
yes, as we see, the new communists NEVER try any tricks. no rabble rousing, like the 100,000 communists in bonn who protested reagans' trip to germany, or coining false slogans like "bush lied" or "mc same" from a half dead, leaderless democratic party recovering the massive kerry loss......neo coms or, democrats, shall we call them?

the facts will show that nobody's getting more money from 527's than the democrats, those numbers are due sometime in late september, early october. watch how much coverage they DONT get.

by the way, i believe its spelled "conservative" for those of us who did go to school.

who has the stones to go up against monsanto? you got the lawyers, the money? what fraction of the story are you telling? and who said its ok to lie? a justice actually wrote that in his opinion? or is that your take on it?

i read the site. homemade. sounds like the reporters had a grudge. and the decision was reversed, anyway. its 7 years old. and on a minor controversial topic, anyway. best you can do? wonder how much money monsanto contributed to that.

to stay on the topic, i vote for people w a military record. ok? so will most thinking americans. note i said thinking, not self hating.

sure, mc cain has changed more to the center. ALL POLS DO b4 the general election. but you are gonna watch obama turn himself INSIDE OUT b4 the general. noone will know what the hell he is about, including him. the left of his party will be pissed with him, the right wont trust him, and the center will be thoroughly disgusted. remember he was the champion of the left, against the big bad centrist hillary. now he is gonna be a centrist?

running the country on polls was clinton' s thing. basically we were on automatic pilot then. you want to do it again? in a world of enemies, now much richer than 15 years ago? puhlease.

plus people lie in those polls. many are saying they are going to vote obama when they will actually vote the other way or stay home, because they are pissed about the hillary situation. so he is gonna run the country on polls, which lie?

what a freaking joke. obama just wants to be president. if you have to elect him b/c he is black, do so. but dont expect the mainstream to.

heres why its a big asset, and why a foreigner wouldnt understand.

MOST of the time, oklahoma bombers excepted, and even for randy rhodes:

the man fought for our country. he has something invested, like large pieces of his life.

so, he is a patriot, good or bad, PROBABLY has the countries best interests in heart.

contrast that with a guy who didnt serve, snubs our military, grandstands overseas, and has large foreign donors (who i will elaborate on later) you think he is thinking of our country first? i sure the f dont. we had one of those already. he left us wide open to foreign attack, MANY times, not just once. the cole bombing, and the world trade center, TWICE. now you want to elect another one? why? because he has a good jump shot, makes a nice speech? please. give me a break. give me a churchill or a truman type, SOMEONE WE CAN DEPEND ON.

at least you know where the military dude stands, strong and proud. he isnt governing by polls, changing his position daily.

here' s the story, like it or not. fox is the highest rated network.

sorry if you dont like it. and if you dont, you probably arent mainstream.

and if you arent mainstream, you probably dont understand america. oh you live here, you enjoy its benefits, but you dont understand the system, what makes it go, why people fight for it, for MULTIPLE tours, why its endured in a sea in dictatorships, totalitarian governments, wobbly socialist governments, theocratic dictatorships, and communism.

i suppose the union victory over the confederates came at an opportune time for lincoln, the war against the axis ended just in time for ike to be elected, we were victorious in korea so truman could get another term. and so on and so on.

and when you do, let the other nets know. im sure they will be glad to showcase it.

ill be waiting. probably die waiting.

the truth is, fox news stories are heavily and objectively researched, and beyond reproach. if they were lying im sure the others, (and im not talking msnbc, ge's pander to the far left in their galaxy of conservative cnbc, and liberal nbc) wouldnt they have been thoroughly discredited a la the new york times?

not correct. clinton was a draft dodger who fled to england when his number was called. im sure the way he filched the rhodes scholarship is another engrossing story, but while he was away, he was convicted, as were others who did not show up to report to their draft boards. this was a problem when he returned to arkansas to run for attorney general, as he was now a convicted criminal, convicted in absentia. i dont remember if it was a felony or misdemeanor, but it was fixed by carter's blanket pardon. if you really care, you can research it, just stay away from lefty sources which have been cleansed, like wiki. and im not particularly a rush fan. i remember the top talk jock in nyc, calling him "slick willie" even back then.

..........a little small tiny miniature detail that the liberals seem to ignore:

..........the people who make peace? they have either seen or felt the experience of war.

when did japan surrender? they were getting ready for us to invade them, arming their women and children with spears and rifles that fired wooden bullets. this, after fire storms had taken out whole neighborhoods overnite. it took the horror of the A bomb, TWICE to get them to surrender. not until.

as for the germans, with their fire bombed cities in ruins, their armies destroyed or surrounded, out of gas and ammo, their few remaining priviledged citizens eating out of garbage cans, it still took both allies invading and conquering every inch of the country to make peace. not until.

maybe a guy who knows a LITTLE BIT about war is the one to make the peace.

not correct on the mortgage crisis. The repubs tried in the first gw adminstration to reform fannie and freddie and the dems stopped them. so the boards of both were taking ANY kind of mortgage, even if aunt tilly wrote it from prison; and took out fifty million dollars in compensation OVER their multimillion dollar salaries. what the hell, its just a job, right? no fiduciary responsibility to the people. or to the system.

the miami herald here did a cover story on how convicted felons were not only writing phoney mortgages for people who didnt qualify, and forging, but were selling the ss #'s and info to spammers and direct mailers. but fannie and freddie bot all the bad paper up like it was gold plated.

check out who's on those boards; its the same caliber of people the democrats are supporting for president.

now you and i are left holding the bag. hell, i couldve been kiting houses for years if i had known the extent of the corruption. did banks and mortgage companies profit? you bet they did. and all the executives in the know split well ahead of time, with their huge salaries, pensions, mansions, and limosine services. thank your democratic party for this one.

Republicans labeling Obama an elitist?
Posted: 8/7/2008 3:59:29 AM
sorry liberals, say what you will, obama is strange, comes from strange orgins, lived strange places, and done strange things. his mother was strange, his father we never hear fromin some other country on some other continent is strange. its coming out now, his early communist mentors were strange. his militant black churches, where he got a lot of cases and lot of constituents are strange. his nasty wife, with the unnecessary comments is strange, making six figures in an upscale law firm and thumbing her nose at the country that gave her every advantage while it took that advantage away from others. the money backing him is strange. his handlers are strange. more strange facts come out about him every day. his source of power is the strange element of his party, leaning more socialist and communist every day. and his changing positions day to day, probably poll based, as was clintons policies, are starting to turn thinking people off. if we wanted pollsters running the country we could eliminate the position of chief executive.

and the american people are not so stupid that they dont eventually catch on.

mc cain comes from an elite background. but hey, he has done elite things to go with it. annapolis is elite. navy air is elite. 2nd in command of prisoners in the one of the worlds most tortuous prison camps in history is elite. 25? 26? years in congress is elite. having the guts to buck the tide, like on the farm bill or the schips plan when they are pork loaded is elite. he can buck his own party when obama cant even seem to buck his own handlers or donors. rich house, rich wife.....yet he doesnt seem to have an attitude that he is better than anybody else. he hasnt yet made off- mic off putting comments. he hasnt played dirty up till now. sure, he has changed a position or two like on drilling, but he has been pretty consistent up to now. popular or not, at least you know where the dude stands. and he stands on his positions.

americans RESPECT the above.

just go to wiki you can read it there.

and while mc cain may come from more "elite" roots than obama, he does not come off as though he thinks he is better than everyone else. in fact, he is humble, truly funny and self deprecating. he comes off much more as a man of the people than strange-o obama does.

i blame this on obama's foreign handlers. they are leading him down a dark alley with unknown consequences. they were doing much better when they didn't meddle and let david axelrod handle the campaign.

Obama doesnt need to be labelled an elitist.....he is one.

why do i say this? the cracks in the armor appear from time to time. the foreigners handling him miss this. they were doing better when they left things in the hands of axelrod, who put together the fine campaign that defeated hillary. now that the soros group is handling things, they seem to be botching it, hence the dropping polls.

obama shares nothing with the common man. NOTHING. the only thing is the "charity" type work he may have done in the chicago community, but that too was probably a screen for getting juicy cases sent to him by the miliant churches. his comments about the "bitter" people and guns, his pandering comments to lefty groups when he doesnt think he is being taped, his snubbing of petraeus to see maliki first, and therefore snubbing our troops, the flag lapel thing, his wife's nasty comments, his background of mentors from the finest of chicago's communists to the militant black churches, the schools he attended, the places he lived, the type of parents and raising he had (which of course he couldnt help) all scream "STRANGE!"

the only saving graces are his appearance and jump shot, will that be enough? for an ambassador to the middle east, yes. chief executive? not by a half court shot.

while we are at it, lets debunk the kennedy myth. jfk, for all his platitudes, was a TERRIBLE president, a freaking deer caught in the headlights when the cuban missle crisis came down and we wound up actually backing down, giving up our bases in Turkey; and liar who got a lot of cuban expats killed when he chickened out of providing air cover at the bay of pigs. his father bought the election for him, away from nixon. editors who gave the kennedy's favorable coverage were known to have a brand new lincoln appear in the driveway. he had so many enemies noone today knows who killed him, but plenty had motivation

i have a relative who campaigned with bobby, who privately hated jews, italians, puerto ricans, and blacks, calling them all the applicable names. the irony of it is, while being in bed w the mob, bobby sought to be the great reformer. i remember the day he was killed, he would have been a hot candidate for the dems and may have beaten nixon instead of humphrey running. and who changed our world for that one?

an arab, of course.

no. maybe in his annapolis days. or leading a fighter/bomber squadron.

and i would say, mc cain is looking good. hasnt even started campaigning. outspent by foreign billionaires ten to one, still manages to hang in doggedly in the polls.

the backlash is starting. our local democratic owned paper, the palm beach post, was running 3 liberal op-eds for every conservative one the past year. suddenly even the liberal op-eds are starting to take note of obama's missteps and arrogance.

you seethe same now in the tv media too. not msnbc, which is devoted to the democratic party and crushing bill o reilly (when they have a tenth of the audience) but in the less far left outlets like cnn. their polls show mc cain not so far behind and so they dont want to alienate that audience. even in the threads here on pof, where the liberals are disdaining their former friendly media outlets.

yeah it just might be a close one. will justice, truth and the american way triumph again? or will we be hijacked by the socialist world billionaires, they who hate the constitution, the bill of rights, the three checking branches of government that stand in their way? time will tell.

Why isn't Congress hearing the cry... more drilling
Posted: 8/6/2008 7:36:28 AM
if exxon is doing so well why isnt the stock price up? dramatically?

the fact is, their top line profit is not really up, their expenses are higher.

your friendly democratic party has screwed you. while they take money from big oil, a la pelosi, (im not saying the republicans dont also) they have painted us into this corner where we dont have new sources for drilling, we dont have new nuke plants, (we have 11 while france has 77) and we watch helplessly while red china drills off the cuban coast. and of course we cant use our vast stocks of coal. something about that global warming crap that happens periodically anyway to our planet whether there are humans here or not. we dont even have the refining capacity.....thanks to the "NIMBYS", the worlds biggest refinery is being built in india.

we, under their direction and our inaction, have played right into the hands of opec. they dont even want us rattling a saber when the opec countries get out of line. gee, somebody might be offended! their feathers might actually be ruffled! somebody might actually DISLIKE us!

pelosi dismissed congress for pure party over country reasons. the dems who voted to drill would look bad, the dems who voted against drilling would look bad, and the country would have 5 weeks to chew on it. so instead, knowing gas prices ALWAYS decline in a presidential election year, she chose to do the dem thing, the hell w the country, let em sort it out in september. hopefully the stupid american people will be distracted by the latest madonna-oj simpson-michael jackson-anna nicole smith- justin timberlake- kevin federline-lindsey lohan-american idol phenom by then.

meanwhile we will pay needless extra billions at the pump and the grocer when we could have ameliorated things, especially for poor families. ANY action would have taken fuel prices down 50 cents or a dollar, and that goes for food, too. thanks nancy pelosi!

so keep voting democratic. their next plan is to heap on more taxes on at the pump, so you wont drive as much, and pump more money into public transportation. they still think gas is too cheap at 4 bucks a gallon. you dont think so? do the reading, and i dont mean the soros controlled blogs. pelosi and reid have been planning this a long time.

destroyed the country's intelligence capability, ive said here many times why.

6 months is not enough time to rebuild an entire intelligence community.

and now you want to bring in another corrupt administration loaded with clinton and carter advisers? get ready to watch more american hostages with bags over their heads paraded around on television, along with some more destroyed american helicopters in the desert. maybe we can have a few more chavez wannabe's thumbing their noses at us, selling their goods to china from tinderbox south america, too.

Posted: 8/6/2008 4:59:14 AM
they may have filibustered, but never turned the lights out and dismissed everyone. and when they did filibuster, it wasnt so the party could look good and the country could be hurt, needlessly paying extra billions at the pump during this summer vacation, not to mention extra billions for food and everything else tied in with fuel.

had there been ANY action, the gas prices could be 3 or 3.50 a gallon right now instead of 4 bucks.

thank you do nothing party- first talentless democratic congress! thank you madame speaker with the frozen smile ( too many facelifts) on your face! how much are the oil companies and sheiks paying YOU? the corrupt media doesnt tell us. they dont drive much in san fransicko anyway.

cant wait till you have a BIGGER majority so you can hurt the country more. you want us to drive less, develop as yet unknown sources and heap bigger taxes on at the pump to do it, as those of us who have done the reading know. i just cant wait.

......and did "democracy now" tell us how much the oil companies have contributed to the democratic campaign? or the sheiks contributed? or was it just another example of selective reporting done SO well by the left wing. how much was contributed to obama from "environmental sources" but maybe originated with power brokers? and the soros billionaires interested in turning the country socialist....arent they outspending mc cain donors ten to one..........and hiding it in 527's.........claiming its the "little people donating 10 and 25 at a time? yeah right. the little people are home trying to hang onto their houses, cars, and jobs.

as for stefano? did your ancestors spit on the traditions here, refuse to learn the language? ill bet your family speaks english like natives. ill bet they studied in school, worked hard, tried to make something of themselves. i dont see these new immigrants making any effort at all along that line.

.......well we had a president with no military experience.....

..... in fact, a draft dodger, convicted, saved only by carter's blanket pardon. this machiavellian figure went on to take money from our enemies, the red chinese and iranians, and to disable the cia and fbi to do so, the result being that we were exposed to attack on 9-11, like everyone knowing the coed showering with the door wide open in a busy nyc apartment building.

his greed and perfidity made it possible for china to have a space program without the big price tag in blood and treasure, , and for the chinese to get the technology to have one of their subs surface undetected right next to one of our nuclear carriers.

sure, liberals can play ostrich in todays world where the muslims bomb the day before the olympics start, (i guess they would claim red china is the aggressor) a week after multiple bombings in india (i guess india is the aggressor there!) by the same people.......one would think we should have learned a lesson from that experience.

How McCains Prisoner of War Experence is an Asset.
Posted: 8/5/2008 11:00:45 AM
serving as a military man doesnt disqualify mc cain either, it enhances his appeal as someone qualified to be president, someone who knows the military inside out, and someone who knows the power of the enemy to hurt. Plus, he served with honor, courageously in all aspects. its part of his experience, whose breath and depth, compared to obama's, the difference is "breathtaking" to quote newt gingrich.

compare that to obama's military experience....NONE....and with his leftist's antipathy to the military. and wasnt that a slap in the face, meeting with maliki first, on the iraq situation, and THEN petraeus? what ceo or president of the company comes around and talks to the customers first, and THEN the employees? and this guy wants to be commander in chief.....mighty ambitious....what a laugh. he is the original manchurian candidate.

what a disgrace, to our loyal courageous fighting force, to pander at that moment to the left. and to have the other heads of state bow and scrape before him like he's been coronated already. i smell the hand of george soros in this carefully orchestrated ploy.

Republicans taunt and mock objective journalism...
Posted: 8/5/2008 9:59:27 AM
this is off the topic now, of objective journalism. i dont think republicans taunt or mock OBJECTIVE journalism. they taunt and mock corrupt, slanted journalism.

are the democrats right now not acting only in their best interests when they leave for vacation with pressing energy issues draining the american people?

are they not acting in their own selfish interests when they cheer the enemy and hope the military surge in iraq collapses?

are they not acting in their own interests when obama votes for a farm bill that screws the little guy, and adds more subsidies to big agribusiness at a time of zooming fuel prices, and food prices? pelosi made sure to collect his vote on that one. pelosi, baglady of the congress.

are dems not acting in their own interests when obama goes abroad on a big publicity trip (that backfires, the fool). or when he in a speech preemptorily accuses mc cain of race baiting? (again a backfire)??????????

McCain Demands Congress Come Back
Posted: 8/5/2008 9:10:12 AM
gee, im so happy pelosi dismissed congress! for a nice 5 week vacation.

this way, they can leave without any action on energy, a vote that MIGHT just make the dems look bad, and the media would have 5 weeks to play with it. so the hell with the country, party first, and turn outtttttttttt da lights..........da party's ovaaaaaaaaaa...

sure mc cain is right. and so are the other repubs who are staying there sitting in the dark in protest. a few of the dems who really do care about the country are joining them. the minute PRODUCTIVE lands start drilling the pump price will probably be back at 3 bucks!

but pelosi knows oil prices are retreating (as they always do every election year ive ever seen, and ive seen 50+ of them. so maybe the stupid american people will forget the whole thing in 6 weeks and go happily back to buying and driving huge SUV's) so SHE is gonna save the country, by having us pay extra billions. after all, how much driving do they really do in san francisco? thank you mother pelosi, queen of the frozen smile pasted on by too many facelifts. you want to slap a multibillion tax on top of current prices, to discourage everyone from driving dont you, that was the dems original plan.

g-d knows i see the central american families , who dont even speak spanish but instead obscure mountain dialects (so they cant be taught in our schools), driving up in brand spanking new SUV's, , those and massive dualie pickups, four feet off the ground, when they bring their brood in to order 50 ham and cheeseburgers at the lake worth, fla mcdonalds on 49 cent hamburger and 59 cent cheeseburger day. cant wait till they are voters, not knowing or caring for our language, customs, laws, morals, morays, history or background.

i wasnt seeing any anti fox threads when the media was checking the pollls, busy fawning over obama, kissing his butt, coronating him king of the world.

now that he has made a few missteps, needless ones, i might add, (noone forced him to go overseas, or preemptorily accuse mc cain of anything) and getting a closer examination the liberals are crying "foul!"

its a joke.

Illegal Immigration and The Upcoming Election: What Impact will it have
Posted: 8/5/2008 7:59:12 AM
show me what other languages you speak that you are fluent in for you livelihood?
rosetta stone costs a few hundred dollars at this point; i dont see it as a party issue, both parties want open borders for their own agendas.

we are making a bad trade. real bad.

in order for about a thousand super rich families to prosper, and to have low prices on certain goods, we are allowing ANYONE in who wants to be here for whatever reason.

this costs us in services, atmosphere and morale, taxes and huge government costs that could go to other areas. it will catch up to us to us as these illegals are legitimized due the lax attitude and enforcement, so that they will control the country in the future. not right away, but within 20 years. without any caring or background in the country's history, laws, language, morals and morays, they will be voters, the kind of thing the founding fathers were afraid of and why they probably installed the electoral college.

which of course the democrats are busy underminng at this point.

fox doesnt try to fool anybody: rarely if ever are they caught in a distortion. thats because they dont distort. those watching fox recently probably notice more of a turn to the center, if anything. they are afraid if obama gets in, they might be locked out, so hannity is the point man at this juncture. o reilly is pretty fair to the democrats.

check bush's flight records again. he flew our hottest plane at the time, in support against the russian threat in the arctic. f=102, baby! delta dagger, the century series, which killed plenty of pilots. volunteered for extra missions, too. yee haw!

nice guy that russert was, he held court like he was a democratic strategist. saw cheney take him apart in a recent clash. you probably can order the transcript from nbc if you want to see an ego taken apart by an intellectual.

noone ever made an issue of bush's service, because there ISNT an issue unless you are a soros web site devotee. of course lefties like us to vote for people with NO service, sometimes even deserters, how nice to be able to command a military and send people in harms way with little or no knowledge or care. but the soros groups keep hammering away in their slanted web sites.....i guess they believe in the big lie theory. making goebbels proud!

now THERE is a biased source, george soros, making sure nobody but murdoch hires a conservative journalist. you fans of move on. org, the daily kos,and many other organs and websites under the "open society" auspices are subscribers of his.

the capricious media went by the polls. john edwards numbers were always low. tho he said the same things as obama, went further even, edwards was lost in the democratic appetite to elect a black.

"joe" is scarborough, who is conservative. add that to the "today" show who will laud any democrat on its semi hourly news segments on nbc.

fox maybe conservative; versus cbs, liberal, abc, liberal, nbc certainly slanted liberal and pbs, which taxpayers are unfairly forced to pay for, liberal. then there is cnn, liberal, and msnbc, raging liberal. you will NEVER hear one good word about the bush admin, or mc cains or republicans in general on that one.

ONE conservative network versus lets see, four liberal nets. and yet the conservative network blows the rest out of the water!

sure, conservative talk radio dominates the talk air waves. this is a center right country after all. but arent 99% of music jocks and their community programming liberal? and you always have, yeah you guessed it, pbs radio that we all unfairly pay for, of course, liberal. forget air america, in most markets it has a marginal if any presence.

as far as newspapers, soon to be obsolete, those are liberal save the wall st journal and a few other murdoch outlets; ny post, washington times, etc. ny sun a rogue example. as a former journalist, i have an idea who gets hired and who doesnt. no need to "provide" examples, instead the challenge is provide examples of conservative being hired by anybody other than fox outlets.

many republicans seem to disrespect journalism? maybe because its slanted to the liberal side. most journalism schools will acknowledge they dont employ a SINGLE conservative professor. the only one in the country i can even think of is christopher hitchens.

disrespect education? maybe because so many public college professors are raging liberals, filling kids with hatred towards their own parents views.

disrespect science? more information needed. many engineeers and scientists are republicans as well as democrats.

reactionary? yes, its important to love, embrace, and hug regimes DEDICATED to wiping us off the map, like the new china, the new russia, and the muslim religious totalitarian governments.

by the way, as a ny er who has read the times for 40 years or so? its not objective, not even close. the owning sulzberger family are raging socialists or communists, and their agenda extends beyond the op ed page spilling into the news operation. they accepted and printed obama's piece no problem but mc cain's? had to be sent back for huge editing.....as in take back your words.

i dont know what the animus towards fox is, to me its the most OBJECTIVE network, always has a PROMINENT liberal on every segment that is op ed. can the others say the same?

sure, all lies. ....what palestinian conflict?

in fact, the middle east is a sweet, clean, wholesomely entertaining, peaceful, family friendly place where the typical consumer can bring his family to get educated and have fun, cheaper and more safely than the facilities of disneyworld, disneyland, euro disney and disneyasia combined could ever provide!

gee, im looking up some wonderful vacation packages right now online.....

each day that goes by, brings iran one step closer to the atomic bomb and the delivery systems the mullahs so cherish. one day, it will be reality that they can blow israel "off the map".....and what will you suggest the day they threaten to?

israel has already tried trading "land for peace". traded away the land; they have given back land won in wars with bloodshed, which few if any countries ever do, and who sees the "peace?" its time israelis united in a stand like we did here in america, with the call for "manifest destiny", and expanded to all the lands under a greater israel umbrella, so there can be no mistaking who should be where and why. then the situation can be handled as a gigantic police matter. of course getting israelis to agree to anything is another matter. put a dozen in a room and you will get 144 opinions.

luckily at the time, we werent burdened by liberals in the west when we were clearing the indian lands, otherwise our country would look like a patchwork quilt today. no, the liberals who would have interfered stayed in the eastern cities until the western territories could be subdued. thank g-d.

as for the disaffected palestinian young men? i wouldnt be at all surprised if they were part of the unending supply of cannon fodder our troops in iran and afghanistan face today. their own neighboring arab countries certainly dont want them. they pose a threat to any ruler with their ignorant, uneducated, violent ways. how soon we forget how saddam was offering them bounties on american troops heads, and rewards to the families of suicide bombers, and those were just the widely broadcast incentives we knew about.

US Intel Says Iran Planning Nuclear Strike on USA
Posted: 8/1/2008 12:44:44 PM
my main objection to obama is his zero experience in international flash points like the the iran-west conflict. sure, he will be advised by the clinton/carter gang. but do we want them in there, seeing how well they did with iran, losing it to the enemy unneccessarily, and do we want more chavez's in south america making our lives miserable where no enemy regime existed before?

nobody has to rattle sabers when china and russia now show up on every country's doorstep and with their new found oil monies, make deals to buy up that country's exports, and hey, by the way, if you make trouble with the americans, here is a nice bonus, all the guns and ammo you can handle.

this isnt your fathers oldsmobile, stop offering solutions that would have been nice in the 1960's, where just two superpowers ruled the roost. they wont work in today's dangerous new world. today's new food prices, fuel prices, and cost of living rises, are proof of that.

Historians Predictions For '08 Presidential
Posted: 8/1/2008 8:40:34 AM
well the fear happens to be real. iran wants the bomb and will play for time to get it. obama will oblige. unlike the other 2nd line countries with nukes, their mullahs will use it or at least threaten its use. their short term goal is domination of the middle east.

these are hard cold facts that many dont like to deal with. and so far, i notice far more cowardice on the left side of the aisle on most issues than the right in our government.

want examples? the farm bill. obama voted to continue large subsidies to the big farm companies (in this new era of soaring food prices and need for corn for fuel vs food )and screw the little guy paying for the food. no problem obliging nancy pelosi when she asked for his vote on this so they could enrich themselves. yeah some change.

on the other hand, mc cain voted against it, a gutsy move. happened last month.

with the soros billionaires licking their wounds over the millions lost in losing to bush twice, they are pumping tens of millions into this election. for mc cain to win this, its gonna be the biggest upset since the giants beat the patriots in the super bowl.
