I find that these days it is often rare to find either sex single without children. Either way it doesn't bother me, as long as the children aren't brought into the picture too soon, so that their hearts aren't also broken if things don't end up working out. I have none myself, and can't really figure what it'd be like to have to even get to the step of introducing my kids to a boyfriend, etc. But (and I know I will probably get knocked for the comparison) I don't even let just anyone even around my cats...they are my babies. I think that children and new mates should be kept at a distance in the beginning though, I have seen my friends' children cling and want that mate more than my friend does, then ache when it doesn't work out. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.....

Darn! As much as camping up North (from here) is amazing...I'd like to go anywhere since I never have been outside of Canada for real travel (Ohio has been the farthest outside of here). But going to Chicago and catching a Blackhawks game would be ultimate (never have seen an NHL game live yet either-bad Canadaian!) and I'd love to go to New York...but there are a ton of places I'd like to even go to in my own country too...Saskatchewan is high up there, along the way to BC...will do that one day....(and Niagara Falls is the bomb!!! Could go back there a million times over!)

Women are supposed to be more committed at an earlier age, men at a later age due to are messed up hormones and all...but I have never lost my faithfulness when with another. Once committed, I am til the end of the relationship...just hope that it never fizzles out I guess. Maybe that's why it's better to WAIT to meet the right man. I just don't believe there is any good excuse for either to cheat though....just be honest about your feelings and desires...

May not ever be an easy situation to accept...someone cheating, the disloyality and the humiliation....but better that you caught him now, before you bring up your child in that sort of enviroment (where they might end up believing this is acceptable). That should never be considered 'acceptable' whether you are pregnant or not...and you shouldn't ponder what to do...you KNOW what is right...it does not involve him though. I'm sorry for what you have had to experience though, wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy. Do take care and best wishes with your new found joy about to be born!

I've been with my "man" (another"label") for over 6 months now and still feel really awkward calling him my "boyfriend". Labels are not comfy...he knows how I feel about him, and I know how he feels...why do do we have to label any of are relationships with anyone? I even catch myself saying, about one of my buds "one of my bestest friends on my planet" or something...and I have no clue why, but almost feel compelled to explain something that has nothing to do with these others....Society?

Not really sure how this all went to piercings, but they are generally set with ink I guess...I would have to say that if the whole staff at a dinner were covered in ink and buldging with l'il rods...I'd probably trust them more because I know how clean you have to keep them to avoid infection. So I highly doubt that they wanna get grease from the deep fryer, or oil from the sauteed 'whatever' or SALT of all things, in their battle wounds of expression.

Well I have gotten to the stage where the one dog can come up and whine on the bed cause he already devoured the huge raw hide of distraction, but the other is just too nosey...literally! And the cats are locked in their bedroom for safe keeping...plus they have too much curiosity!!!

Still just amazes me how people can still be this way...even caucasions are interbred (Irish, Scottish, German, Russian, etc)...we honestly all bleed the same colour of blood and all have a heart and feel pain. I know I don't even get into ANY friendship with any alterior motives. I can honestly say that I have never used anyone in friendsips...and wished it has always been the same, but most my buds I presently have have been in my life for many years, for good reason, we have all been there for one another through thick and thin. And even for my b-day this year, a bunch of them got together and surprised me (thanx to one of my best buds-my brother)...but it came at a very low time, making me feel so good that they even thought about me! And when I freaked on them over it, they just simply told me "because you always do this sort of thing for all of us". I get teary eyed just thinking about the love! That is all true friendship! No other motives!

I guess I know that it can be hard to be 'just friends' in many situations...but if they can't handle that, how much love do they have for you to begin with if they wouldn't want you to be completely happy? If I was in love with someone, even if they didn't feel the same for me, I'd rather that person be happy with someone else than be with me just because they liked the attention or were afraid to hurt me (would hurt more when it didn't work out and both were alone again, and that one might have lost their chance at actual happiness). Sometimes an honest friendship can be better than anything...it can last.

I was forunate enough to meet many great people from this site, including my mate, but there are so many awesome people I would love to meet from here just to actually hang out with in person and share some time and cold brews with! They know who they are...but I did meet one of the most amazing people on this planet from here, and many other awesome people so I have been lucky so far!!! PS I have beaten a bottle of ketchup and what a mess that was!!! (I also think it was the first time I felt regret...what a waste of greatly squished tomatoes!!!)

I have mainly male buds...and have dealt with one that had a crush MANY years ago on me. But we always remained friends and never have been intimate, and now even he would be sickened by the thought of more cause we are like family. But I have had to lose a friend or so in the process of building a relationship with my mate(s). Some just can't handle 'friendship' or rejection as they believe it to be. But why hurt someone just to make them feel good for the moment...honesty is always the best policy so you can still sleep at night. I'd rather let them know the truth, no matter what than hold them back from another chance for real happiness.

I personally don't have long nails or anything...but with the proper intensity during intercourse, they seem to come out and leave their mark..lol Scratching and biting just seems to come out during amazingly passionate sex. I guess the marks should be worn with honour to oneself (but also covered up for the public-no one else needs to know)...

I have to totally agree with SHORTY.... But getting back to the original question...I don't believe in prying or snooping into another's person stuff, but if it's posted in a general forum, I see no reason to not read it. But if you're having doubts you really should just ask your mate for the truth and then go with your gut. There is no sense in staying with someone if you aren't satisfied with that rotting feeling starting in your gut if you have doubt. No relationship should have to have that sort of pain you feel from doubt. Best of luck!

I have to say that I never really thought I would end up having a tat, let alone the 6 I now have or all the work I have planned when financing allows it. I didn't get my first one til I was in my 20's though and very glad I had waited. Each and every single tat I have and will have, will all be a part of ME and who I am. The 1st one I got has already been updated and restored though (gotta know who is mixing the ink to make it last), and the second one actually bled ink into my skin and I will now have to get a 'cover-up' tat and it will have to be expanded in doing so to cover the ink that bled. Many lessons to learn from that...always make sure you know your artist, make sure you can deal with error, and KNOW that it is permenant! Explain this to your children, and explain how the body does change through out your whole life. Expressing who you are should be enjoyed and never regretted!!! Peace! (PS. I'm gonna get a pic of my 'bad' tat-before it is fixed-for all parents trying to express their concern for the decision of getting a tattoo soon. Let me know if you need a copy!!!)

Seriously sounds like he came up to meet this woman he thought he liked (after talking basically every day to-yeah, that sounds like married!), might have been a bit shy in public surroundings, then leaned in for a kiss after some wine...What a pig! He had a hotel room too...REALLY sneaky!! (That's sarcasm by the way). I'd just chalk it up to...it didn't work out. Plain and simple...I really don't think he did anything really wrong...except spend a lot of money to come to Canada and then not have things work out for him either.

I think too many people do worry about being alone and all, then end up in relationships for the wrong reasons. When it is right, you'll have the person in your life...and when it's not your "time", I just hope everyone at least has their friends and family there for them if they're feeling alone. You should never "settle" or just get involved because you want to be with "someone". That never works!!!

Never really put a lot of impact on hands myself...other than how they feel in my hand or if they're clean before sticking a finger in my mouth or something!!! I can never wear them fake nails, and my polish gets chipped and my nails peel. But I'm really not all that "girly" either, so I prefer a man that doesn't care for that. At least they're not all oil and grease stained anymore like when I was apprenticing as a mechanic!!! lol

How much for the swamp land? I'd like to move somewhere nice! lol Only had the cops called once to my place (so far) for having a mic and amps still going in my driveway til 3am or so. Think the neighbours musta woke up and turned their hearing aids on for the moment... But I'm with Suzie on this one! My neighbours are too afraid to say anything, and there has been many places up for sale since I moved in! And the more you water the lawn (or dirt patches in my case), the more you might have to mow the damn thing! lol
