So called Terrorist Attack at Holsworthy
Posted: 8/10/2009 6:53:49 AM

Chiny®™© on 8/7/2009 7:05:00 PM: Yes indeed.......it’s wise to be “sceptical” these days with the amount of propaganda afloat, I agree and further suggest that we all wait until all the facts are known and they are still unfolding. The authorities are “alleging” a conspiracy to carry out an act of violence described as an act of “Terror”, against the Australian Army.
No means of conducting such an act have been uncovered, primarily weapons. Oh yeah....some say that the weapons to be used in a US style killing spree would be readily obtainable from the Army themselves. No easy task given the multiple barriers the Army stringently enforces on itself but even more so on civilians in a VW Kombi dressed like Casper the Ghost.

Unfortunately this is also true. With a choice of a government filled with conservatives called the "Liberal/National Coalition" or a government filled with conservatives called the "Labor Party" we have to be very sceptical on what is fed to us via the conservative bipartide media. "Utegate" is a prime example of one lot of liars getting caught out by another set of liars. At present there are 10 pieces of legislation poised to trigger a double disolution election. All that remains is fo one (probably the emissions trading legislation) to show enough difference between Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee to assure the Labor Govt gets returned to power. After all we can't have the voters confused and voting the wrong mob in can we?

juz4u on 8/4/2009 138 PM: I still don't know what reality u were living in because it was not common practice to hand out live rounds unless on a range or in a hostile situation.

I don't know if the Australian Defence Forces currently arm their guards on Australian soil. But I can tell you that the Americans do. American soldiers outside Darwin's Westpac Bank on the corner of Smith Street and Bennett Street during a combined Naval exercise were armed and on guard. This was before Christmas 1996. They were holding their rifles down the sides oftheir bodies to make them less noticeable but their hands were on the pistol grip. The safety catches were on safe. I thought this was pretty offensive as if anyone was armed and on guard it should have been Northern Territory or Australian Federal Police. Or perhaps an Australian security contractor duely licenced under our laws.

But then again, perhaps we are just a colony of the US and they let us think we have our own laws.

But then again u grunts always did live in your own little world

Our soldiers should be armed when guarding defence property and our police should be armed when guarding strategic Federal property or essential infrastructure. If the generals, admirals and air commodores are not trusting their troops with live ammunition on guard duty, I would say those brass hats have not been doing their jobs and are putting Australians at risk.

Well I'm still alive. Some of the above seem to be right. Zinc Fix which is a zinc + Vitamin C powder (mix in a glass of water and drink) ... Zinc gees up yout T-cells. That's what we used to call "White Blood Cells". Apparently the term "white blood cell" became unpopular during the Black Panther days of the 1970s. "Wochu mean my white blood cell count is UP MoPhuker! Ain't nothing white about this Black Panther ... stand still Honky while I bust a cap in yo a$$!"

samara8 I hope you are feeling better soon
if it helps I feel fine even after being on the back of your bike all day
maybe I am right and alcohol really does kill germs
must go and have another wine I can't be too careful .

I might have caught it somewhere else because I felt fine all day riding. I spent the next couple of days on the Gold Coast looking after my sister in law's cat (no **** jokes please, Meow is very prim and 10 years old). So I may have caught it down there.

Now if you have Tamiflu shares, sell. Apparently, if they don't dose you within 48 hours of infection Tamiflu does nothing. They tested me Friday afternoon (after a week of me being brave ... but still quaranteening myself) and the results didn't get back until Monday evening. So even if I went in on the day I first felt crook it woulldn't have helped.

Doctors advice - Zinc Fix (a mixture of zinc powder ... can't I just lick the galvanized garden gate? ... and vitamin C), And some horse pill called Augmentum. Honestly it is HUGE! How the hell am I supposed to swallow something the size of my thumb with a burning throat?

Keep dosing with the wine Chris, On what I have spent on medications I could have bought a case of Moet.
I'm glad no one else from the ride is sick. Perhaps I wandered into a random virus.
Thanks for the get well wishes.

It seems that I am not a fish or lion or even a horse ... I am a pig. And to go with my new status is my new lurgy, Swine Flu. So anyone who was on the ride down into New South Wales weekend before last ... If you are not feeling chipper - OFF to the doctor.

By the way, I accept no responsibility for your ills, I was feeling FINE. Someone gave it to me. I am NOT patient Zero.

If anyone is feeling crook, my symptoms are:
Sore throat, head aches, dry cough, temperature and not being able to get warm enough.

What I don't have is overactive mucous membranes. I don't have a runny nose and I'm not coughing up any yellow (shows bacterial infection) horrors. My cough is dry and hurts my throat. If you get airway secondary bacterial infections you may have coughed up and blown out nasties and all the optional extras.

I hope that none if you get this flu, it's terrible. I've suggested to it several time that if I stop breathing (which hurts anyway) will it just kill me quick. It has no mercy. It's making me linger.

I accordance with the Infectious Deseases section of the Health Dept I got someone else to type this thread. Can't be too careful.

The Laugh at the Scammers Thread

Some of these scammer emails are downright funny. Lets have fun with them. After all, as the yanks say, "It's their dime."

Dearest One,
With Due Respect And Humanity, I was compelled to write to you under a humanitarian ground.

You wouldn't actually be "UNDER a ground", humanitarian or otherwise would you? I ask because not only would it be in your apparent character but it would be nice to think someone has buried you.

My name is jenifer adams. My nationality is Scotland,

Now people have said that the Scots are hard to understand ... but despite English humor and propaganda, they are in fact a pretty literate lot. They write well.

I am married to Mr.Jean Anthony Adams director J.C Industries Cote d'Ivoire West Africa. We were married for 36 years without a child. He died after a Cadiac Arteries Operation.

Let me get this straight ... Mr Adams died after his Cadilac had an operation on it's arteries? I would have thought he might have died of heart attack after he got the mechanics bill for "operating on the Cadilac's arteries" ... but do go on, you are doing SOOOOoooo well up to now.

And Recently, My Doctor told me that I would not last for the next six months due to my cancer problem (cancer of the lever and stroke).

Cancer of the Lever! You have mechanical problems TOOOooooo! You poor thing. Stroke ... have you been downloading porn again ... Oh sorry, yo are a Christian woman aren't you. Anyway, your Lever has cancer and you had a stroke ... which is why you are typing with one hand.

Before my husband died last year there is this sum $4.5 Million Dollars that he deposited with one of the security Company here In Cote D'Ivoire West Africa. Presently this money is still in the Vault of the Company.

Has anyone considered that the wealth locked away in African banks could release that continent from poverty?

Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to any good God fearing brother or sister that will utilize this fund the way I am going to instruct herein.
I want somebody that will use this fund according to the desire of my late.husband to help Lessprivilaged people, orphanages, widows and propagating the word of God.

Of COURSE you do! You God fearing holy spreader of the word you. There are SOOOOoo many good people in Africa. Most of them are dying or have really bad luck with dying or dead relatives ... sigh ... the ways of God are mysterious.

I took this decision because I don’t have any child that will inherit this fund, And I don’t want in away where this money will be used in an unGodly way.
This is why I am taking this decision to hand you over this Fund.

OH DOOOOOooooo GIVE IT TO MEEEEE! I won't spend it on wine women and song ... well not unless they are needy. Grapes need to be needed too. The girls down at Crazy Horse were sying they were feelng "unloved" and song ... I FEEEEEeeel the NEEEeeeed to record my own song.

I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going.

Yeah, me too. Don't bother to take a jacket. It'll never get cold enough to wear one.

I want you to always remember me in your daily prayers because of my up coming Cancer Surgery..

I will sacrifice a virgin to the un-named one ... errr ... if I can find a virgin ... and since the un-namd one is ... well, un-named ... he could just as easily be me. So maybe I won't insst on virgins and maybe I won't waste them if I find one.

Write back as soon as possible any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another person for this same purpose, Hoping to read from you asap.

Oh ... we can't have you "scourcing another person" can we! My reply is in the ... the ... wow, how about that! My reply is in the bin.

God bless you as you listing to the voice of reasoning. I Stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply .

Yes I listing the voice of reasoning in most funny scam attempts of the year. Please feel free to hope away. I'll bet you can't hold your breath until my reply reaches you.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
Your's Sister In Christ, Madam jenifer Adams.

What? Now she's a NUN! But she was only married a few paragrphs ago.

Funny how a life weaves its way through a series of coincidences -
I was involved in two movie productions that had Sam Neale starring in them.
The first was Sam Neale's first feature movie "Sleeping Dogs" The movie was made on a shoestring budget in Coromandel New Zealand. At the time (1976) just about the only stunt people in Australasia were Grant Page in Sydney and the Los Angeles Hell Drivers (who as far as we can tell never saw Los Angeles). The Hell Drivers did some really spectacular driving stunts but had never done any high falls (sans car) or stunt fighting.
Grant Page did some really spectacular stunts including high falls but came at a big price and was only one man. "Sleeping Dogs" required many mugs to take all shorts of abuse.
The director got in touch with my Sensi and we (10 to 15 guys and gals) trained. Eventually I got to run out of a barracks and get blown up with three other guys.

Years later in Darwin. "Evil Angels" came to be filmed in the city before the old Supreme Court ws pulled down. I got a part as a cop. The humorous part about this was that my neighbours were a couple of dodgy guys who smoked funny smelling cigarettes ... most people in Darwin did in those days. Darwin, the only place where a pub went broke. The patrons were all getting stoned on the balcony while the barmanager wondered why the patronage was up but the takings were down. But that's another story. These two guys saw me on the set dressed in a police uniform. I had spotted them and looked away ... I had a walk on in a few minutes. I overheard one whisper to the other, "Look! That's Maurie. I didn't know he was a cop!" Some cops we were. One of us locked himself in his handcuffs just as the director called us up for a scene.
Meryl Streep playing Lindy Chamberlain pulled the pillow out from under her "pregnant Lindy Chamberlain" maternity dress. It was especially hot for these Southern and North American temperate zone actors. "Excuse me lady," I said, "You've dropped your baby." She must have a sense of humor, she grinned.
Franky J Holden as a reporter said, "I'll be glad to get back to the hotel and have a cold shower." We "local" Darwinites grinned. "What?" said Franky. "There is cold water in the hotels isn't there?"
"Coldish." We said. "Water stays at the abient soil temperature of 24 degrees."
I calculated that the groan that came out of Franky J Holden was about the same as the sum total of all the Holden owners who have found their pride and joy stolen.

Warren Oates was the token American actor on "Sleeping Dogs". I thought he was a really nice guy unlike all the bad ass characters he has played in movies.

BAD NANNA! .... Sorry, I've just always wanted to say that.

I tried to add you to the picture uploaders and failed ... Sigh ...

Cher and all, I have tried all the different variations of Bad Nanna's name. Left off the 08 at the end, took all the spaces out from between the letters. She won't ADD! Is Bad Nanna a ghost?

Suggestion, perhaps there are a maximum number that can be additions. If so take me off. I've loaded all that are going to appeal to the general tourers.

I have a heap of other pics and the ones I have posted are in 6Mb format. That means they are clear as. Of course the site loads them in low resolution (about 1.3 Mb) to save space. So let me know if you want the real deal in 6Mb form. Remember that 6 Mb file will download in Broad band in about 30 seconds but may take up to 5 minutes if you have a dial up connection.

A Great day. Thanks to all for your company.

OK, 40 odd bikes (different bikes not odd as in strange), more than 50 odd people (Nah! I won't try to explain that one) and more than 60 odd pictures by me (HEY! Get your picture taken by me and chances are you'll probably look odd) ... more pics by other people.

I've edited mine so that they address the salient points ... My thumb has been airbrushed out ... and don't take up too much space. I'll try to add them now.

If you don't see them in the next 24 hours, I'm not handling technology well.

And that's not ALL!

I lived in Darwin and had my profile set as "Living in Darwin". I came down to South East Queensland and I changed my profile to Gold Coast and then Brisbane when I moved to Brisbane.

When I want to message some lovely SE Qld gal the page and the message often comes up, "Cutie Pie is only accepting messages from nearby men."

Ironically I never go those messages when I lived in Darwin. And I was often being amused by someone's writings in the forums and writing to women from all over Oz.

Posted: 7/2/2009 1:10:15 AM
Don't worry about half my posts ... it's my evil twin.

Consider whether wasting someone elses life is something you will be happy with remembering. I got married to a fine woman after living with her for three years when I was 22. I didn't want to get married. I was waiting for her to get sick of me and move on. In the end I wasted 6 years of her life and mine.

The easy way out is not always the best way.

LOVE .... It's such a subjective term ... Does she have money? Does she own a pub?

These are the important questions that you need to ask yourself BEFORE you ask if you love her.

New, specific question about squirting
Posted: 6/30/2009 8:21:01 AM
It ain't pee, doesn't smell like pee, taste like pee .... ummm better take that back ... I've never tasted pee ... but it doesn't taste like pee smells like it would taste ... and it is not the same colour as pee.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the "squirt/don't squirt" thing though. I have witnessed some pretty intense orgasms without an accompanying geyser.

If you do, enjoy. If you don't but you want to, try ... but not too hard. If you don't and don't want to keep on doing what feels good.

Sorry that I haven't advertised my pillion seat hot or cold yet.
I have a tentative pillion but she may have to work. Her roster hasn't been posted yet. At present it's 50/50. That is why I haven't posted the Darkhorse pillion as available or unavailable yet. I am going to push for a definite yes or no by Saturday 4th. The roster should get posted by Saturday.

I'll bring some good cameras for the happy snaps and study the terrain before the ride. There may be some good paces to get ride by action shots.

Men & Boys. Recklessly Stupid? Or Boldly Adventurous?
Posted: 6/26/2009 5:21:45 PM

Bionic Angel : I'm not sure guys have the stranglehold on stupidity, as I always thought Suzi Maroney's jellyfish tangling heroics were the epitamy of idiocy, and she was always referred to as courageous, gutsy, brave etc... but the boys can carry the banner if they want to.

Suzi Maroney is an honorary man. We passed a resolution that anyone name Suzie Maroney who swam insane distances through shark and jellyfish infested waters did not have to have a scrote or penis to be let into the club. Fidel Castro (our Patron) presented her with the Gold Pass when he met her in Cuba.

Renewable Energy in Australia?
Posted: 6/26/2009 5:02:02 PM
Bio-desiel should actually be more thermally efficient than fossil desiel. there is a longer carbon molecule to break down. This is the reason why desiel is more thermally eficient than motor spirit (petrol). You should get more kiometres to the litre. Dr Desiel actually designed his motor to run on vegetable oil. Germany has no indigenous oil supply and it' colonies had none either. Which was why Hitler pushed his generals to capture the Caucus Oil Fields.

Briefly, to make vegetable oil bio-desiel, filter used cooking oil or fresh squeezed oil through a 20 micron filter into a thick steel vat with a large drain at the bottom and a decanting tap 1/3 the way up. An old domestic LPG clinder inverted in a frame with the bottom cut off is good for this. That will give you about 75 litres of oil. Mix a measured amount of caustic soda with a measured amount of ethanol (motor alcohol) ... you need to check the amounts of this on the net ... and add stirring to the oil filled vat. The mixture will heat up and turn an orange hue. Let sit for 24 to 48 hours depnding on the temperature.
A white/yellow grease will settle to the bottom of the vat. You can drain this into a container and make soap out of it if you want. It is glycerine. Decant the "flocked" oil from the vat to run directly in some pre-2000 desiel motors. I have seen and driven Toyota Landcruisers happily running on this vegetable oil with no need to preheat in the tropics. It can also be mixed with fossil desiel to run.

There are some risks involved. Caustic Soda is a dangerous chemical if not handled correctly. Alcohol is highly inflammable. If you don't flock out enough of the waxes (glycerine) you may leave damaging deposits in your combustion chamber.

I sugest this ... take a minute to have a talk to yourself. Note the following -
1. It takes two (at least) to have a relationship.
2. Would you want to be in a relationshop with someone who didn't have your best interests at heart?
3. How long do you want someone who doesn't care about you to control your life?
4. There will be a time of grieving. This is normal. But you are grieving for what might have been for you, not the other person. You may grieve because they could supply you with something that you thought you needed. You cannot be "in love" with someone who has no love for you ... unless you beleve you can love some movie star that you have never met ... and that's just psychotic behaviour.
5. How long do you want someone who doesn't care about you to control your life? I know I repeated it ... it's that important!

Oh 6. Don't try to replace anyone with someone else. You won't. If you find someone later that you care about, care about THEM. Not that they are just like some ghost from your past.

At least, that's how I see it.

The whole point of using bio-derived fuels is that we are only puting into the atmosphere Carbon that will be used up again by plants. We are not unlocking Carbon produced by long dead plants. This will reduce the increase of Carbon in the atmosphere.

However we still need to be producing energy wth non-Carbon emitting technology such as Solar and Wind power. Nearly all the energy comes from the Sun (Wind caused by Sun heating atmosphere, Photo-voltaic cells from the Sun's photons, Carbon cycle from Sunlight energy through plants) but we need to cut out the Carbon cycle part.

Plant oil technologies (bio-desiel or ethanol) will cut our reliance on fossil fuels from an increasingly politically unstable part of the planet and if they are handled properly reduce the monopoly big oil companies have on our energy production.

The Media - Do they report the news or manufacture it? How do we hold them accountable?
Posted: 6/26/2009 3:48:03 PM
Yes, as with every endevour, the media has it's share of unethical people. But would you have them regulated? Might that regulation not lead to media over-control?
The media has been controlled for some time with the major players being in the hands of a very rich few. It could get worse.

I think that we, the public, have some responsibility to exercise a certain level of control. We exercise that by not buying or watching media that feed us rubbish. The media are very sensitive to ratings. When newspaper circulations or TV ratings are down editors and TV executives loose their jobs. Every dollar spent is a vote for the status quo. If you do't agree with them, spend your dollar elsewhere. And write letters to the editor. The newspapers still give that ability to give feedback.

quote]
My number one fantasy is to find a man who is intelligent, cultured, wants to get to know me before he tries to sleep with me. The rest of it is that he is faithful, takes pride in his health, he is tall, has a good job and is careful with his finances, likes to dance, hike and ride bicycles.................

What Happened?
Posted: 6/26/2009 3:04:14 PM
It's a game young fella. Get used to it, enjoy what you can get out of it and keep looking for a lifetime partner ... it;s just NOT her. No matter how much you want it to be her ... it's not.

Do you remember ... no you wouldn't, too young ... do you know the Cyndi Lauper song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" ... The idea is to have a bit of fun while the girls are having fun. Eventually she will see you having fun and leave. Because you havin fun isn't what turns her on. She gets off on your misery. Feel sorry for her ... but not too sorry. This is all the power she thinks she has.

Whats the Issue With Men in Australia ..
Posted: 6/26/2009 4:41:28 AM

In the dating world in Australia, are things done differently? It feels like it's a little game, something I'm not used to..and quite frankly, I don't like it.

Yes Seniorita, it is a game ... and I don't like it either. It's a game called, "You like me more than I like you." The object is to make as many points as possible by making the other person:
a) Want you to call (2 points),.
b) Actually calls you (5 points)
c) Go somewhere they don't want to go (10 points),
d) Do something they don't want to do (Drinking with your boozy mates (men) - Escort to and stay at Tupperware party or similar (women) will get you 10 points, something sexually degrading for for women will get their "boyfriend" 25 points, 50 if she cries, socially degrading for men like dancing classes will get a "girlfriend" 25 points, unless she picks up the dance teacher and lets "boyfriend" walk home 100 points, unless the dance teacher's girlfriend also walks home 150 points.

We understand that this can be confusing so coaches are available for foreign students wanting to learn to "do it" the Australian way.

WHO says I'm not a Player ... If this young woman takes up my coaching offer I am in line for a 25 point bonus (Young woman goes out with man old enough to be her father).

All opinions and points made in this post are in jest and while you are welcome to get as offended as you like, please don't request that I cry (100 points for the woman).

whats wrong with us

Have you noticed how the girls are avoiding you all like the plague. They don't respond well to fabricated "We are so bad but trying to be good" thread or blatant sexism.

But good luck with your fishing.

The Final Curtain for Jacko!!!!!
Posted: 6/26/2009 4:20:31 AM
He may have been a "kiddy fiddler" ... but somehow the amounts of money sought and gained by the complainees ...or their parents ... kills any credibility that they might have had. It is strange though that with all the money available Wacko Jacko didn't choose to hire a large public relations firm to "put his side" of the story.

Whatever, grown people should never be in bed alone with a child. It's ust not smart and it may actually be dangerous ... to both.

What kind of Laptop can you recommend?
Posted: 6/23/2009 6:37:25 AM
For laptops, buy local and buy well know brands from well established retailers. Also buy the extended warranty unless you are going to trade it in in 12 months.

Laptops are still notoriously expensve to repair when they break down. Example: M Toshiba P100 J01 Satellite is now three years old. It was 15 moths old when it went in for a replacement screen. That would have cost me around $1200.00 if not for the extended warranty. At 18 monhs old it went in for a replacement DVD drive. Just under $800.00 replacement cost. I bought and installed SODIMM memmory sticks without referring to warranty because for the $190.00 (I upgraded 1 meg to 3 megs) I didn't have to send it away and be without it for weeks. It's last replacement bit was a video card (although they often have discrete video handling, the "video card" is actually a part of the main board in most laptops). Megabucks ... I can't even find out what a main board costs.

This is a Toshiba ... not some fly by night company.
And still I thank my stars that I paid the extra $160.00 and took out extended wanrranty.

Should You Stand by Your Man/Woman when they literally Screw up ?
Posted: 6/23/2009 6:06:14 AM

I cannot believe a seriously intelligent woman like you could ask such a question!

Oh I love these quasi-intellectuals!

Alpha males but more specifically the ones that haven't grown up will only go for and attract submissive females ... blh blah blah

You will find Alpha and Beta males amongst springbok or giselle. You will find Alpha and Beta males amongst wilderbeast.
But you WILL NOT find Alpha or Beta males amongst the Great Apes. And you won't find them amongst packs of wolves or tribes of humans.
Go directly to the checkout ... no behind the counter. Do NOT collect your degree. Go directly to the checkout.

Listen up Folks, This is a good one!!!!!!!!!

war1977: And I don't care who you are, when a hot woman kisses you, you don't pull away. So we haven't done anything since then, but we talk about our attraction to one another.

Sonny, you are being played.
There is nothing that makes dogs feel more powerful than chasing cars that keep running away.
Think of yourself as a passing car.

However you will deserve all of the heartache that comes your way when the other "relationship" wins the day. And it will, or you wouldn't be posting this.

Eye Contact
Posted: 6/21/2009 3:42:48 AM
Big city people avoid eye contact because the person attempting contact is probably about to interrupt their busy schedule and try to sell them something they don't want or need.

Country and small town people continue to make eye contact because they are interested in what i happening and who is in their community.

Eye contact costs big city people.
Eye contact assures community adhesion in smaller communities.

divorce parties

dimeadozen: The party is not about your ex. Its a celebration of a new part of your life so make it a costume party where everyone has to wear something suggesting the future.

And THAT'S A FACT JACK!

You really need to get over your last relationship before you go looking for other relationships ... or not ... Hey, it's your life.
