do women have more sexual hangups then men?

The only generalization I'd make on this subject is that most people (especially women) tend to be more hung up about sex when they're younger. As you get older you get much more open minded and uninhibited.

Femme,
Please don't spend another minute thinking about this.
Believe me...when you find the right man, he's not going to care at all.

"Your argument is as old as history itself. And just as productive. We wouldn't need any laws, at all, (hence no forms of illegality) if people could simply obey ten simple commandments. "

I'm done wasting my time with this "discussion."

"I meant it in the ceteris paribus sense."

CTR, there's no such thing in this discussion. All things AREN'T equal. We're talking about people who shouldn't be here.

"Simple economics. If there were no barriers to entry for obtaining the proper insurance, why wouldn't people obtain insurance if it is required by law? Isn't any illegal who does not bother purchasing insurance, complying with laws that prohibit them from obtaining insurance?"

Hmm. Right.
If you want to talk "simple economics" how about the fact that they can't afford it? One of the incontrovertible FACTS is that illegal aliens come from the very bottom of the financial rung.

CTR, it's clear that you're talking from opinions rather than facts.

"Consider insurance requirements. Most illegals who drive cars and are working (i.e. have an income) did have insurance, until people complained and created forms of prohibition that are not conducive to being market friendly by those people. Whose fault is it that laws were passed that restrict the ability of some people to have insurance? From my perspective, people who misguidedly advocated for prohibition of insurance for illegals should not complain if they are involved in an accident with them and don't have recourse to their insurance."

Wow! I'd love to know where you get your facts from for this, and the other, responses you've had.

"I am not sure how relevant your post is to a debate on illegal immigration. That law was also impacting US citizens from other states. Was that the intention of Georgia lawmakers, to negatively impact US citizens from out of state, or merely an unintended consequence?"

I believe it was intentional since Georgia has become very active in ridding itself of the people in their state who are there illegally.

"I can't give to much weight to anecdotal evidence from a car seller's perspective. It may have an effect on people who would otherwise be law abiding residents, but I am pretty sure it doesn't have much of an impact on existing black market activities in that sector."

CTR, I only posted a portion of the article.

"Can you give me any numbers on how those type of laws are negatively impacting business in Georgia?"

No, I can't. But since businesses that hire people who are here illegally are the true culprits in this mess, I can't imagine most people in Georgia really care.
Nor would I, if I lived there.

"Where in the US constitution is US customs and immigration authority delegated to the states?"

CTR,
Since you refuse to read the article as I suggested, let me quote the relevant passage:

"Genao is feeling the fallout from a new state law, effective July 1, that requires a valid Georgia driver's license or ID card to register a car in Georgia."

Now....explain to me how a state requiring ID to register a vehicle has anything to do with US customs or Immigration enforcement.

Why do young men think older women are interested in them?
Posted: 7/25/2007 6:10:59 PM
"The other day I was at a pub, my friends band was playing. It was some dive ass bar, and these two 50 year old ladies who were dressed like street whores came up to me and were like "this music is from my generation baby!!" and started grinding up on me, dancing all hookerish and shit."

Now that's nasty!
I never approach younger men and certainly wouldn't do it like that.
Ewwww......

CTR, I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself.
Read the article I posted earlier. There's nothing remotely unconstitutional about the law Georgia passed, but it does have the effect of driving illegals out of the state.
Which is the reason I called it a win/win.

She meant that the states are encouraging the illegals to live elsewhere. In other words, somewhere else besides the state they're in.
As for what is and isn't a state government's purvue, they can certainly pass laws like the one mentioned in the article I posted earlier. I just so happens to discourage illegals from continuing to stay here illegally.

Sounds like a win /win to me.

Here's how we solve the problem. I found this here on another thread.

By MARY LOU PICKEL
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 07/16/07

Jose Genao sells used cars for a living, but lately he's had to turn away customers from his Smyrna dealership.

Genao used to sell about 15 vehicles a week, mostly Ford F-150 or Silverado pickups to a Mexican clientele. Now he sells only two or three.

Jose Genao, looking over one of the cars at his dealership, says business is suffering because of a new Georgia law that affects illegal immigrants.

Half a dozen customers have returned cars because they can't register them.

"They bring the key and tell me, 'Jose, I'm leaving,' " Genao said.

Illegal Aliens--Georgia's New Law
Posted: 7/22/2007 9:13:49 AM
Thanks for posting this!! I'm glad to see things FINALLY happening to get these people out of our country.
I want all illegal aliens to be legal. Send them back where they came from.
Any anyone who's sympathies lie with the illegals, you might think about reading up on the damage they're doing to this country.

For instance, I prefer dating younger men and I think it would be great if we could have forums targeting our specific interests. Maybe forums for people who prefer another race, specific body types, etc.
So, why don't we??

I use the same kind of analogy except with me it's shirts.
People would be alot better off if they looked at it that way, instead of taking things so personally when they aren't a match with someone.

Older Women and Younger men
Posted: 7/16/2007 6:10:15 PM
Yes, we get bombarded. And yes....most are only looking for sex.
I don't think it's necessarily disrespectful, though. If they're nice when they approach you, there's no harm since there are plenty of women who only date younger men.
