In 65 I was 17 just like jackson brown's song, I was livin in the burbs of Toronto going to yorkville ever weekend to find like minded people, trying to score a lid and not get ripped off. Worldly possesions were your albums, a guitar and a green garbage bag of clothes. How priorities change, now I've been working in the same job for 25 years and getting ready to retire next year. The music lives on and some of the kids like it too. BTW earth shoes is what gave roots there start, another couple of old hippies peace-love-dove Rocker

If you want to know about the Toronto scene at that time there are a few books about Yorkville and the music being made and Rochdale college. Summer of 69 the Doors played at Varsity stadium along with alot of major acts at the time. there was 2 big festivals put on that summer at this venue. It was great!!!! Now roll another one just like the other one

Boy glad I'm in the 30% , after 40 years of riding. Maybe you have to jam on the brakes real hard everytime you stop or get rid of the briefs, Oh hell get rid of underwear altogether, just overheating the swimmers anyways referances on request

When the drinking age was 21, two tickets on ttc to go from the burbs to downtown TO. getting beat up for having long hair. No sticker required on you plate. Five bucks would get you a 24 beer and a pack of smokes. Waterfalls and duck tails where hair styles. Yikes The Hawks nest, La coc'dor, Brown derby and Grossmans. OH YA fifty+
