Hey everyone, I've been out of pocket the last few days and want to thank everyone who has signed up for the party. I sent the mass email out today so talk it up with all your single friends. Buckeye, you asked me what type of music the band played. I called the VFW and the commander said they played a variety of country music and dance songs. I've heard them previously and they're pretty good. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Take care, Tonia

Come out for some holiday fun. We're having a potluck Christmas Party at the Whitehaven VFW on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Bring your favorite dish for dinner and your dancing shoes for afterwards. The potluck starts at 7:00pm and the dancing starts at 8:00pm. The band is Sonny Force and the Shades of Gray. There i s a $5.00 cover charge that you pay to the VFW. Dec0899, thanks for the offer of charcoal and lighter fluid but another member is bringing 6 bags. Bags of ice in a cooler with soft drinks would be wonderful. Can I put you down for that? d.perkins, thank you too for the offer of forks & spoons but another member gave me 600 of each and they're sitting on my kitchen table. How many of you would be interested in going to The Crossing after the picnic. I'd say sometime around 7:30 or 8:00pm? The band TOM****& HARRY will be playing rock and roll music.
