A pet is a long term commitment. And when I got my pets I MADE a commitment to them-and in one case to Sheltie rescue (signed papers!) that I would keep them.

If pets are part of my life, why would I want someone who doesn't want them around??? They are a part of who I am.

If you were to get rid of your pets for a relationship, where are you if the relationship ends--and where are your pet(s)?

Most contact with cops is not under good times?
Feelings of guilt?
Doing something illegal?

I don't hate cops. They have a job to do and like all people, there are both good and bad ones.

why do alot of the guys at this site have a problem with dogs?

I have two dogs and two cats, so if someone doesn't like them we aren't going to match very well. If someone sees the pictures they'll know I have them and pets are with me until they die. When I got them that was the commitment I made.
If he didn't want dogs, you two are not a good match. There are all types out there and part of you is your dogs.
