OMG what a bunch of BULL. First of all you OOOZE bitterness. People can smell that a mile away. It's repellent. But the most moronic aspect of your post is you forbid anyone to give you the alternate experience by saying "and don't tell me".. What are you afraid of? Truth is, it's WORSE for us women. OMG did I DARE say that? Let's face it, not only do we face the same basic rejection but ad to that the fact that SO many men want perfect Barbies (even when they themselves look like Jabba the Hut) or they're middle aged men in denial who think they should be dating 20 year olds. If you aren't strong enough a person to face rejection on the net then don't bring your baggage and lack of self esteem and dump it on us. You call yourself "good looking" but that's subjective in both gender cases. Be a man, grow some testicular fortitude and realize that it works both ways. Boo hoo.. poor you.....

There may be a lot of deeper social reasons people don't marry anymore and maybe ya'll will forgive me for being unusually cynical but personally I think it's because everyone just wants instant gratification (or ok a lot of people) these days. They don't want to work at a relationship. Easier to hop on the internet and go meet someone new at the drop of a hat. Also, let's face it, there's no courtship, required patience or time forced to really fall for someone. With so many people doing "NSA" sex and just screwing right away there's no reason for men to wait until they fall in love and feel dedicated to you. There's a difference in being sexy.. and just having sex with anyone or everyone. Care before you share.

I love an HONEST guy. There are, sadly, too many people who need to get serious too soon. After all we don't really KNOW someone so soon. Be kind but tell her the truth. She can either hang in there or move on. It would be more cruel of you to NOT tell her. Don't be afraid of hurting her if you tell her kindly. She'll get over it and in the long run you've done her a huge favor. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Hey Ya'll! Listen, there's nothing wrong (or even shallow) with preferring to see if there's an attraction, it's what you do to follow up on it that shows what you're really like inside. In other words, (I also respond to people with NO picture) let's face it sometimes a person's looks just turn you OFF. It doesn't mean they're unattractive. Just like if someone doesn't find me or you attractive it doesn't mean we aren't. It just means there's no chemistry in that one instance. The difference though between men and women, I found, is that women follow the "frog prince" pattern. He doesn't have to be gorgeous, if he's got an incredible personality, he can make you laugh, you feel comfortable and happy talking with him, he can go from being 'not so' attractive to turning into that frog prince.. suddenly he's perfect enough. Men, on the other hand, want you to be an instant hard-on the minute they see you. They rarely give second chances (their loss). The rare man is open enough to let himself enjoy what a spectacular, amazing, fun, sexy woman you are on the inside. Those are the men who end up in a long happy passionate relationship. The others end up with thier cuff-candies treating them like hell and then wonder why they're not happy. I guess some women do that too. Anyway, that's my take on this and thanks for letting me vent!
