Innocent happenings !

Call me an ambulance
kat is an ambulance
after a luxurious soak in the tub one day l realised id left the shampoo out of reach from where l was soaking. l stood up and leaned across just managing to grab the bottle before slipping. as l fell l grabbed the shower curtain which came off the rail, the top on the shampoo popped and ejected a stream of shampoo and l landed on the bathroom floor, wet, naked apart from a shower curtain and covered with head n shoulders. on hearing the thud my mum came into the bathroom to see me trying desperately to cover my blushes.
. . moral of the story? . . . dont forget to put the shampoo next to the bath, it can save all kinds of embarrassment

Can the tories fix Broken Britain?

one of tony blairs statements when they got in power 'Less is more' - after 12 years in power they are now leaderless, gutless, clueless, prideless, truthless, spineless and pointless. will even leave the country potless at the next general election. so they at least kept one promise

Can the tories fix Broken Britain?
Posted:

Everyone agreed with me that the ten years of labour were the best britain ever had yet they want to get rid of labour
everyone? lol dont be daft, labour have fxxked it right up, tony blair wasnt daft, saw the problems coming and jumped ship saying 'there ya go gordon you have the big chair'. now that all the problems they have caused are coming to light the cabinet is resigning one by one.
immigrants and immigration affect all the problems you apparently are worried about by using up resources.
as to whether the tories can save britain, who knows until they get in to no.10 but one things for sure, they are the best option amongst the candidates to govern at the moment IMO

D-Day 65th Anniversary !!
Posted:

I do not know your name, but I know you died
I do not know from where you came, but I know you died
Your uniform, branch of service, it matters not to me
Whether Volunteer or Conscript, or how it came to be
That politicians failures, or some power-mad ambition
Brought you too soon to your death, in the name of any nation
You saw, you felt, you knew full well, as friend and foe were taken
By bloody death, that your life too, was forfeit and forsaken
Yet on you went and fought and died, in your close and private hell
For Mate or Pal or Regiment and memories never to tell
It was for each other, through shot and shell, the madness you endured
Side by side, through wound and pain, and comradeship assured
No family ties, or bloodline link, could match that bond of friend
Who shared the horror and kept on going, at last until the end
We cannot know, we were not there, it's beyond our comprehension
To know the toll that battle brings, of resolute intention
To carry on, day by day, for all you loved and hoped for
To live in peace a happy life, away from bloody war
For far too many, no long life ahead, free of struggle and pain and the gun
And we must remember the price that was paid, by each and every one
Regardless of views, opinions aside, no matter how each of us sees it
They were there and I cannot forget, even though I did not live it
I do not know your name, but I know you died
I do not know from where you came, but I know you died.
Lest we forget, Respect

Paedophile bashing...

I cannot see how they would be "prevented",
although it would not be a guarantee if the sentence for a 'safe' conviction was death it would prevent a few from carrying out their sick crime and send out the message to all of them that society has some common sense rather than patting them on the head, giving a lenient sentence, and allowing them back onto the streets, thus preventing vigilante attacks, and minimal expense to the tax payer. logical?

Just remember, none of the above is conjecture or the overheated imaginings of a testosterone fuelled mind... They are facts!!! The relationships may not be strictly true but the rest is fact and that I am afraid, you cannot argue with!!!
facts? no, opinions and experiences just like yours, mine and everybody else.
everyone reacts differently to any given situation, whats right for some isnt always right for others. Argue with? far be it for me to tell you how to react to your experiences im merely putting across my opinion
high 5 joe, some things arent worth trying to be p.c about. if the cause is eradicated the problem ceases, so preacheth the soul, amen

Is this country losing its identity, morals and common sense
Posted:
6/6/2009 7:42:53 AM
lol
apathy and laziness are huge contributors l feel
selfishness also, it seems more and more that people are thinking 'im alright jack'
look at the bigger picture though and its a different story, this once proud nation that our relatives fought and died for is fast becoming a playground for greedy mp's, religious fanatics, global corporations, americanism, chavs, bigots, the pc possee, immigrants, people conning the benefit system, foreign workers, the EU, wannabe gangstas, clueless government and a foreign royal family. (im sure theres other faults that other posters can think of and some may not agree with ones ive listed but its just an opinion.)
What can be done to change things?. . . fxxked if l know short of a disastrous event that will enable some to start over again and build a country that befits the population that remains.
Bit deep for a post and probably a bit negative for some but again, its just an opinion

Obama speech in Cairo: a new beginning?

I am not admirer of Obama and was very much against his presidency. Nevertheless, he is the President now and he has the mandate to try things his way
Obama is in control is he? who are you trying to kid? yourself?
like so many before him Obama is only a puppet, a frontman for the people. The real strings arent pulled by him or any other 'world leader'. Last american president who tried to do things 'his' way was Kennedy. Think on

Trust & Honesty Do You Agree
Posted:

would be nice to think that everyone was honest and truthful but unfortunately some seem to have very strange ideas of what truth and honesty are or are just here to play mind games with the cyberego theyve developed which has taken over their true personality because they feel safe behind a keyboard. Unfortunately the playas that are good at their game make it harder for the genuine people to connect as once played people become more wary and can hold back from something that would otherwise be exactly what they are looking for.
Said it before (and no doubt will say it many more times as its so good ) but jiminee cricket gave some great advice in 1940 . . . always let your conscience be your guide

Paedophile bashing...
Posted:

when a paedophile takes it upon himself to interfere with a child is he taking the child's rights into consideration?
after the attack does he regret the damage he's done both physically amd mentally to the child?
does the judicial system give fair sentences for this abhorrent crime?
is enough done to support the child and child's family after such an attack?
would you feel comfortable in the presence of a convicted paedophile?
does any paedophile show any remorse for his actions?
does a paedophile deserve humane treatment for such an inhumane crime?
after serving a sentence does a paedophile deserve to be accepted back into the community that were affected by his actions?
after being warned out of a public house is it the action of a stable mind to go back into the same public house?
if a member of your family was a convicted paedophile would you see them in the same light and associate with them as if nothing had happened?
how would you feel if you were the parent of the child that was affected?
how would your grown up child that was attacked by a paedophile feel to see their attacker back out in the community?
Still feeling p.c ?
hang em all hang em high, as previously mentioned if the judicial system did the right thing then vigilantism wouldnt be an issue.

certain jobs carry responsibilty, regardless of her age the old bill in question over stepped the mark on this one, had the number been obtained off duty would change the situation entirely, although as previously stated the girl has caused mitigating circumstances by replying and any action by the police authorities should take the contents of her replies into consideration, l think he can forget promotion for awhile at least though

I strongly suggest you try and get out of the habit of over analysing other peoples posts and twisting and drawing up your own assumptions over what people are saying. It's incredibly tedious and frustrating when someone has to pick holes in something and turn it into something else.
ahem you also stated that 'no one batted an eyelid back then, now people are battering lumps out of each other' which 'suggests' IMO that your statement prefers thast draconian lifestyle to having a paedo thumped. suggest youre clear with your posts if you dont want people to comment on them

Edit: It's funny really how maybe just over 100 years ago, it was perfectly normal for girls as young as 12-16 were expected to be married off to men much older than them and now in this day and age, it's completely against the law. Not saying that this should happen again, nor was it a right thing to happen, but society has really evolved since the 19th Century. Was having a discussion with a friend about this just now and thought it was an interesting point. No one batted an eyelid back then, now people are battering lumps out of each other.
thankfully although todays society is far from perfect at least this 'normality' is no longer seen as ok. Or are you saying you wouldnt mind your teenager daughter being forcibly married to dirty bert from the bookies?

The crime will still have been done and a slap won't act as a time machine and undo the hurt and emotional damage caused to the child.
nor will slapping the paedo on the wrist and saying dont do that again, but if the scum is put to death then he cant re-offend, isnt a tax expense, and cant have freedom. whatever punishment is handed out cant undo the damage done to the child but my conscience would be clear as long as the offender no longer breathed.
rehabilitation is just a poor excuse for not having the bollox to do something and doesnt work. show me a political party with the nuts to bring back capital punishment for 'safe' convictions of paedophilia and ill show you the next government.

of course anyone touched my kids I would be blood-hungry and wanting my pound of flesh, thats natural, and did'nt even need asking, but your just playing the big man and trying to bully ansewers out of posters without responding to fair points, NO_ONE on this thread has defended the actions of a paedophile, but 2 wrongs dont make a right
is it just me or is there a hint of hypocracy there?
youre either going to do it or not
bully? nah, all ive asked is a question, if you feel bullied or anyone else does that was by no means the intention, just pointing out how treating paedos with anything other than contempt is yet another example of p.c bollox. if the justice system dealt with them properly l could put my poncho in the next jumble sale

I expect every parents/relatives initial response would be to want to seek revenge but this is where common sense kicks in,who would they be doing it for..the victim or to ease their own guilt in some way?
personally it would be to ensure justice was given as our judicial system is so piss poor and to eradicate the possibility of it happening again or as kat pointed out the poor victim being unfortunate enough to bump into their attacker on the street

Don't need to imagine it.. Been there, done it, seen it for real.. But I can tell you now, battering her abuser and even worse battering her abusers brother who she adored, would not have made her any better at all... It might very well have put her back years in her recovery...
im so sorry to hear that pants, wouldnt suggest you should batter the instigator yourself, im merely pointing out that they deserve no humane treatment whatsoever, no action can heal the thoughts and experiences of a child im merely pointing out that the p.c possee have it all wrong and putting forward my own thoughts and response on this dreadful crime. IMO any convicted paedo should be eradicated

Actually it was another poster that brought other serious crimes into the thread, so do try to keep up, but you dismissed his very valid point to0, so do we attack ALL prisoners who have served time for serious offences or not?
again your dodging my question, no minerals? personally l would happily cut off a paedos prick and watch him bleed to death. wouldnt you agree? then again if a quiet pint is more important to you let me know if your family is unfortunate enough to suffer this and ill gladly do it for you.
kids are innocent victims suffering at the hands of these sickos, once a safe conviction is established they dont deserve any rights or humane responses IMO

maybe l speak alone but if a member of my family was a convicted paedo they wouldnt exactly be coming round for sunday lunch anymore. he chose to go in the pub with this nonce so . . .
no one seems to be able to answer my question of how they would feel if it was their child that suffered. l guess your p.c beliefs dont run that deep as l dont think you would want to rehabiliate a paedo then
I never suggested that murder was a minor crime which is why I asked you if they deserve to be beaten witha hammer after serving their time, an answer would be helpful.

My same line of logic still applies. If you let the parents of abused children decide the fate of the abuser you'd also have to let rape victims, families of murder victims, victims of assault and victims of minor crimes do the same. Otherwise there is no parity in the system.
again l say, what if (woe betide) it was unfortunate that one of yours suffers at the hands of these diseased people? parity? dont make me laugh, the judicial system in this country is already messed up beyond belief.
who mentioned minor crimes? stay on topic

would you still feel the same way? l think not

How do you feel about being the talk of the town?
Posted:
6/5/2009 3:46:08 AM
a few years back l was running a local pub, one day l went up to the supermarket to get some limes for cktails, as l returned to the pub l noticed 6 or 7 people outside the pub wearing white hooded protective suits. after preparing myself for a 'spot of bother' l was faced with a senior member of the local 'old bill' who advised me that the pub was being searched for stolen property as they had had a tip off. after 4hours of searching nothing was found and l was told that a 'rival landlord' had given the tip off and they were now going to go and search his premises for wasting police time.
Just as they were about to leave my head barman strolled in carrying an antique musket wrapped in a blanket (firing pin removed and purely decorative which we intended to hang on the wall) wrapped in a blanket. his face was a picture as he was promptly relieved of the firearm, frisked, handcuffed and then questioned. due to the police already having wasted a lot of time they decided they were going to search his home. he lives with his disabled mother who smokes jamaican woodbines for medicinal purposes. His mum must have been quite shocked as 12 police officers searched her home and found her stash.
Meanwhile, after the police had left my pub l went to another local to see my mate to warn him about our 'rival'. As l walked in his place he rushed over and asked what l had been up to. Apparently locals had gone to his pub after seeing what was going on at mine and told him what had happened. lt only takes 15mins to walk between our pubs but in that short time he had been told that l was being arrested for gun running and drug smuggling!!! Amazing how the local grapevine works in some towns eh?
happy fishing all

f it's my fault, I'll blame myself but I'll be bu99ered to take the blame for something that wasn't my fault!
strewth! bit ott for an open fourum aitch, still whatever floats your boat
OT, personally l blame many of the worlds faults on religion, wars, hatred, ignorance, greed, power, bombings etc etc. without religion many of these wouldnt be an issue.
on a day to day basis if something goes wrong its my fault, im a bloke

well rehabilitation is really working eh? since the p.c brigade started spouting off about rights and 'teaching a better way' the prisons are full to bursting, judges are giving out ludicrously lenient sentences and the police dont get any respect. bring back the old school bobby who'd clip ya round the ear then drag you home to mum to explain what youd done, respect is learnt at an early age but kids today have it too easy. 'Ave it

Did you vote today?

not voted, on purpose, my choice, no one worthy of my vote. abstaining sends a strong message than voting for someone just for the sake of it

being the shy reclusive type se.... physical relations are awkward for me to discuss, especially on cyber or open forums. l get very embarrassed in a 'green behind the ears' sort of way.
