Roses or chocolates?
Posted: 8/13/2009 1:00:16 PM
cut flowers ~ they last longer and you give her what's freshest..... so she'll think about you even longer! i prefer peonies to any flower. she'll have some preference as well most likely, so get to know her well enough to know what she loves before you send the flowers or bring the flowers....

chocolate ~ hershey's nuggets with almonds and raisins please. see's bordeauxs or california crunch.

i can't believe some of the girls don't love chocolate.... just find out if she prefers milk or dark. it is the thought that counts, but it might be considered more thoughtful when one learns what we specifically adore..... makes it more thoughtful, more considerate, more pre-meditated and meaningful.

i would find it automatic: that if you were doing it, then you must want to. making people happy brings the giver more joy than the recipient.

this is just one opinion.... i respect the others as well.

Must the goal be 24/7 in a committed relationship?
Posted: 8/13/2009 12:49:08 PM
own room?
i want my own office and my own closet!

but i would like to sleep with them, unless they're sick and whining. then i'd just want to throw them a bone~ make them some soup, and let them sleep and sleep and sleep til they were all better.

24/7 would be awful. i mean ~ one might love them all the time, but definitely wouldn't want to be in their presence all the time. ICK!

Need closure!!
Posted: 3/31/2009 12:32:31 PM
be thankful for what you did have. some don't have that.

and maybe he did what he could. not everyone is good at or capable of communicating.

and when a door closes, another one opens. just like that. fish have soooooo many opportunities. you've been hit on practically before you finished writing.

things evolve.... sometimes not where one thinks they're headed or where they'd hoped, but go forward. it's all about attitude. your joy will be your closure.

why do my dates want to rush?

there are plenty of fish. and sometimes you have to meet them to find out if they're the one for you, for whatever you're looking for.
do what's right for you. if they can't hang with that.... oh well.
as long as you're doing unto others..... you'll be fine. and it sounds as if you are.
just think... you must be so delightful and charming that they all find you irresistable! don't give up.

A ring from the past
Posted: 12/30/2008 8:27:51 AM
if it holds no special or significant meaning or feelings for you, why should it matter? it's a ring. if it's a 12 carat heart shaped yellow diamond surrounded in pave.... consider a necklace or a new design, or two if there are enough diamonds.
Why did you keep it?
if your significant fish takes offense, that may be their 'issue'.

the hot and cold game
Posted: 12/30/2008 8:16:42 AM
what do you want?
you may want something different than you did 7 months ago. circumstances change and the site allows one to experience many options.
the new year may be a great time to put thoughts in order or an excuse for evaluation.
i recommend that you not think on the negative side. for most it's not a game. people are simply different.
best wishes.

your profile isn't bad. i'd move the humor and true differentiating points to the top. They are original and bring out your sense of fun.

i am NO expert. i am doing a horribly boring project and this is how i 'took a break'.

immitation is the finest form of flattery, so read your favorites. look at both male and female, and then emulate what you feel best suits you.

i think you'll be just fine. mine is worse and it works somehow magically. i do a perfectly fine job on my own to mess things up!
