SRQ......you have hit the proverbial nail on the head. And I think a lot of us are guilty of holding on to a relationship even though the chemistry is not "quite" there. As for me, I am certainly willing to say "goodbye" to something that is not quite right. And yes...I think lightning can strike at anytime. Throw caution to the wind....ABSOLUTELY!

Actually the media type is NOT the problem. You can find weirdos at the church, temple, bars and dances. All areas of meeting people have their faults. Best thing for me is to go to POF parties, have no expectations except to have FUN! You never know when lightning will strike!

There used to be a restaurant in Boca called Espana, it was in Mizner. After dinner they'd move the tables and we'd all dance til 2am to a great 3 pc band. That's where I learned the Meringue, Salsa and Cumbia! To me there is nothing as sexy as the Latin music.

I visited a friend in a rehab facility last summer. While visiting, I noticed that a man came every day to see a woman, whom I found out later was his wife of many years. She had Alzheimer's and didn't even know who her husband was. She didn't recognize him at all. He would come in and softly kiss her and give her a big hug then he would sit and read to her the rest of the day. Every day! She might not have known who he was, but her husband did know who she was. May we all have that kind of commitment and love.

JustNancy...there ya go! It seems I always get questions about my "Profession" when meeting for the first time. Most times I look at it as being interviewed. Hahahaha. Heck, I am NOT applying for a job. I guess it goes with the "qualifying" questions a lot ask. Cajun....there is a bistro nearby that has bras hung up above the bar...I'm sure they have some you'd like. (Smile)

Yes, Hallie I resist labeling anyone. I really have to say that Professions don't really pique my interest....how one writes and talks matters more. I have seen more than a few profiles , supposedly written by professionals ,that were poorly written and misspelled.

Hey Hallie, Listing of professions is just that....it does not necessarily reflect the total of the man or woman.......Classifying anyone based on their profession can be greatly wrong. That why I like to get to know someone first before making ANY evaluation. Stereotypes can often be thrown out the window.

When I first started dating last year, I thought it would be alot easier than it actually is. In the past few months, I have begun to really enjoy myself and not care so much about being alone. Actually, I have learned alot from these forums and found that I'm not alone in my thinking. We all go thru phases of dating, not dating, just being "me". And I am happy to add that a surprise awaits all of us....maybe not now, maybe later....but it will come!

OK...now we have yellow buttons that say "Serious Member". Maybe we can all get buttons like "Happy Member" , Sex Member" , "Flirty Member" ...even "Unbelievable Member". Why should we be "Serious" without an appropriate button?
