Putting dogs down after they attack other pets.

the heat could have very much contributed to the dogs behavior................another thing is this......maybe the dog never had experiance..thus learned how to play with sall animals.....or children
another thing.........the dog might well have been alpha.....could be and quite possible..the owners let him rule the roost........one thing people need to learn is to never...NEVER let a dog "win" a stareing contest......most people dont know that all dogs will try to stare you down....just to know where they stand in the pecking order

it sounds more like a case of bad owners instead of a bad dog
yes...malamutes are agressive towards unfamiliar animals and have a strong persue/kill instinct.....but they can be trained not to do it.....sadly....most people get a dog they think is cute.........or "cool"........they go on looks instead of what suits them
as eric said....a tired dog is a good dog............some dogs need a whole lot more exercise than others..........malamutes are bred to pull sled thru snow all day long.at a run.........dang few people can keep up with them....much less tire them out.....shoot...most people couldnt keep up with any of the bigger breeds.........except maybe a st bernard
i've had labs most of my life........and while they are totally happy to be doing the exact same thing your doing.........they still have enough energy to chase a ball thrown into a pond for 6 hrs straight..[we timed it a couple of times...dang dog wore out 3 peoples throwing arms and still wanted more]

Posted: 5/23/2013 11:15:04 AM
not really anything molly.............though i think i would have added cream of mushroom soup and some mushrooms..............you might want to add more liquid.........either water.......maybe some dry red wine
the best way to get "stringy" roast beef is to use an eye of round roast...............or a venison neck roast

The school bully
Posted: 5/16/2013 10:55:20 AM
my oldest son was on the reciveing end of bullying..............sounds funny because he was,by far..the biggest kid in his class....if not the school.........equally as stange...it was the smaller kids that picked on him....after quite a few trips and calls to the school.....[their answer was that they couldnt be everywhere at once].....i told my son......next time he does something.........i want you to punch him in the nose as hard as you can.........then just start flailing on him..............yelling as loud as you can "leave me alone"....and dont stop till someone stops you
2 days later...we got a call........the expression on the principals face was priceless when i told her my son was following my instructions......but.....the bullying stopped............it happened once more when he was in 5th grade.....again......a bully tried to start something...........we did the same dance with the school to no avail...so.......my son stopped the trouble
to this day..........my son has yet to start a fight.......but he has ended many.........he grew into the kid at school nobody wanted to mess with......and he very often stood up for kids that were being bullied
best thing that could happen to your kid op..........it if a bigger bully gave him a taste of his own medicine

What am I doing wrong?
Posted: 5/12/2013 1:10:15 AM
op.........the biggest thing your doing wrong is that you were born 30 years too late...........not because i'm 30 yrs older than you....but because thats what both guys and girls were looking for at that time....at least in my area and circle of people i knew....if you werent married by 25...........there was something wrong
now days.........espically reading these forums......it seems that 30 is the age to "get serious"
hang in there op.......your a quite attractive young woman that a lot of guys would be proud to be with.........but.....if you push too hard for a relationship.....guys will run............just let it happen

help! never made a ham.
Posted: 4/2/2013 5:22:13 PM
a country ham is dry cured and smoked...........at one time that ment rubbing the ham with salt and brownsugar every day for a week or so........turning it every day.....then a long time in the smoke house........minimum of 2..3 weeks.........up to several yrs [though there wasnt always a smoke going...but it still aged for some time]
a city ham uses a wet cure.........soaking in the brine........shorter smoke time

well...you joined what?.....2 weeks ago?
it takes time.....lots of time sometimes
no reply means no intrest.........sorry....but thats how it is
your also kinda taking the wrong approach contacting lots of women.....i mean..........they cant all be the woman your looking for
sadly.....this isnt one stop shopping......its more of a meeting place......not to ention that most likely......all the women you contacted were most likely contacted by 20 or 30 other guys
our going to get a bunch of replys telling you to get a profile review.......and DEFINATELY think about changeing your screen name........cause 90% of the ladies on here are going to see an e mail from someone who calls himself "effin awesome" and just cruise on by

Pot Roast in a Crock Pot - how can i get the beef tender?
Posted: 3/8/2013 3:15:05 PM
ok......heres the most basic.......put the beef in...the dried onion soup........plus a can of cram of mushroom soup.........plus the water required for both soups........toss in the carrots.....a stalk worth of chopped celery......and potatos if you like........cover the pot......turn it on before you leave for work,,,,,,,let it cook all day.......the longer it cooks...the more tender it becomes
i've never ever had tough meat from a crock pot.........but if it persists.........slice the beef before you cook it
