Oh i feel a like a bit of traditional brobdingnagian bards The orange and the green:
Oh, it is the biggest mix-up that you have ever seen.
My father, he was Orange and me mother, she was green.
My father was an Ulster man, proud Protestant was he.
My mother was a Catholic girl, from county Cork was she.
They were married in two churches, lived happily enough,
Until the day that I was born and things got rather tough.
Baptized by Father Riley, I was rushed away by car,
To be made a little Orangeman, my father's shining star.
I was christened "David Anthony," but still, inspite of that,
To me father, I was William, while my mother called me Pat.
With Mother every Sunday, to Mass I'd proudly stroll.
Then after that, the Orange lodge would try to save my soul.
For both sides tried to claim me, but i was smart because
I'd play the flute or play the harp, depending where I was.
Now when I'd sing those rebel songs, much to me mother's joy,
Me father would jump up and say, "Look here would you me boy.
That's quite enough of that lot", he'd then toss me a coin
And he'd have me sing the Orange Flute or the Heros of The Boyne
One day me Ma's relations came round to visit me.
Just as my father's kinfolk were all sitting down to tea.
We tried to smooth things over, but they all began to fight.
And me, being strictly neutral, I bashed everyone in sight.
My parents never could agree about my type of school.
My learning was all done at home, that's why I'm such a fool.
They've both passed on, God rest 'em, but left me caught between
That awful color problem of the Orange and the Green.
Do you really think it would work
not in Liverpool

Why do we hate Man U?
Posted: 4/12/2006 3:18:02 AM
Because of the glory hunters.
And Sir Alex
Thats no Sir i wonder if he ever takes that chewing gum out once in the game
bet he swallows it also. HE's disgusting.
Manchester United's official website, ManUtd.com, could be in hot water after publishing a hate-filled guide to abusing Liverpool's players and supporters in Spanish....
Considering relations between the two sets of supporters is volatile at the best of times, police are thought to believe the decision to publish the article on an official website is particularly irresponsible.
The article appears on the club's official website under the section Fanzone and is billed as "Fanzone presents 'Spanish Scouse-Baiting' as Benitez's Hispanic Liverpool visit Old Trafford".
The article then goes on to explain the Spanish translations for some of the sickest chants directed at Liverpool supporters over the years - including "Build a bonfire, build a bonfire, put the Scousers on the top", "You find a dead rat and you think it's a treat, in your Liverpool slums" and "Feed the Scousers. Let them know it's Christmas time."
Alongside each English chant and Spanish translation is a picture of Rafael Benitez, Xabi Alonso, Luis Garcia and Josemi - implying that it is these four who should be targeted with abuse on Monday night.
While many Manchester United supporters have still not forgiven the club for removing the words 'Football Club' from their badge in 1998 (A decision made during Peter Kenyon's time at Old Trafford because they didn't want their 'brand' to be associated with football when it had become a leisure enterprise which could be linked tonon-footballing matters, such as clothing, media and even other sports such as baseball), articles such as the one that appears on the website today explaining how to abuse Liverpool's players in Spanish, are seen as an attempt to gain some credibility amongst die-hard fans who cringe when they see the likes of mascot Fred the Red.
Here are just a few of the many messages of disgust from Liverpool fans which have flooded in since the official Manchester United website decided to publish the sick feature:
Very poor stuff on an official website. And they wonder why they are the most hated club in the world? Need look no further. Fanzines are different things altogether. I've seen the Man Utd fanzines and they have sunk to lower depths than Liverpool's. However for the official website to come up with discriminatory remarks such as this is a disgrace. Do you see this kind of stuff on our site? No. Do you think that putting songs about throwing Scousers onto fires is showing Man Utd as a great club?
kinetic
I can't believe they actually get away with that kind of stuff, with them insults next to the Spanish players' pictures, it could be seen as racist.
don
That is an absolute disgrace for the official website. I'm sure the Manchester and Merseyside media would be interested in something like that. Kick racism out of football? For your information, I am not from the city of Liverpool, but if I was, I would certainly be looking at this from Manchester United's Official Website with some level of disgust. Perhaps you should have a word with Mr Bartram to not publish such slanderous material in the future. Despite the mutual rivalry and hatred between both clubs, the representatives of both clubs, from the players down to the website, should be above petty racist rubbish such as this. Or do you think O'Neill and McLeish and their teams' websites should go on about how much they hate Catholics/Protestants, seen as a small section of their fans sing songs about such matters?
ronniewhelanspeg
I wouldn't have bothered if it was an unofficial website. I just find it hard to believe that an OFFICIAL website can post tripe like that.
cusamano
Nothing surprises me at just how low Utd will sink...
sonnycrockett
I thought they might have toned down the "Scouser" bile after signing Rooney.
Josemi-tisam
Personally, I couldn't care less about those songs, heard all those pathetic attempts before and they don't bother me. I just find it staggering that stuff like that is on an official website for a worldwide club. I guess I'm just too used to the top class standards that this club, and everything officially connected with this club, show. I would say the stupidity to put anti-scouse songs on your website after signing a born-and-bred Scouser and having all your fans worshiping him surprised me too.

Chris deburgh lyrics: Spanish train
There's a Spanish train that runs between
Gualdalquivir and old Saville,
And at dead of night the whistle blows,
And people hear she's running still...
And then they hush their children back to sleep,
Lock the doors, upstairs they creep,
For it is said that the souls of the dead
Fill that train ten thousand deep!!
Well a railway man lay dying with his people by his side,
His family were crying, knelt in prayer before he died,
But above his bed just a-waiting for the dead,
Was the Devil with a twinkle in his eye,
"Well God's not around and look what I've found,
this one's mine!!"
Just then the Lord himself appeared in a blinding flash of light,
And shouted at the Devil, "Get thee hence to endless night!!"
But the Devil just grinned and said "I may have sinned,
But there's no need to push me around,
I got him first so you can do your worst,
he's going underground!!"
"But I think I'll give you one more chance"
said the Devil with a smile,
"So throw away that stupid lance,
it's really not your style",
"Joker is the name, Poker is the game,
we'll play right here on this bed,
And then we'll bet for the biggest stakes yet,
the souls of the dead!!"
And I said "Look out, Lord, He's going to win,
The sun is down and the night is riding in,
That train is dead on time, many souls are on the line,
Oh Lord, He's going to win!.."
Well the railway man he cut the cards
and he dealt them each a hand of five
And for the Lord he was praying hard
or that train he'd have to drive...
Well the Devil he had three aces and a king,
and the Lord, he was running for a straight,
he had the queen and the knave and nine and ten of spades,
All he needed was the eight...
And then the Lord he called for one more card,
but he drew the diamond eight,
And the Devil said to the son of God,
"I believe you've got it straight,
So deal me one for the time has come
to see who'll be the king of this place,
But as he spoke, from beneath his cloak,
he slipped another ace...
Ten thousand souls was the opening bid,
and it soon went up to fifty-nine,
But the Lord didn't see what the Devil did,
and he said "that suits me fine",
"I'll raise you high to a hundred and five,
and forever put an end to your sins",
But the Devil let out a mighty shout, "My hand wins!!"
And I said "Lord, oh Lord, you let him win,
The sun is down and the night is riding in,
That train is dead on time, many souls are on the line,
Oh Lord, don't let him win..."
Well that Spanish train still runs between,
Gualdalquivir and old Saville,
And at the dead of night the whistle blows,
And people fear she's running still...
And far away in some recess
The Lord and the Devil are now playing chess,
The Devil still cheats and wins more souls,
And as for the Lord, well, he's just doing his best...
And I said "Lord, oh Lord, you've got to win,
The sun is down and the night is riding in,
That train is still on time, Oh my soul is on the line,
Oh Lord, you've got to win..."

"Feel" Robbie Williams
Come and hold my hand
I wanna contact the living
Not sure I understand
This role I've been given
I sit and talk to God
And he just laughs at my plans
My head speaks a language
I don't understand
I just wanna feel
Real love feel the home that I live in
Cos I got too much life
Running through my veins
Going to waste
I don't wanna die
But I ain't keen on living either
Before I fall in love
I'm preparing to leave her
Scare myself to death
That's why I keep on running
Before I've arrived
I can see myself coming
I just wanna feel
Real love feel the home that I live in
Cos I got too much life
Running through my veins
Going to waste
And I need to feel
Real love and the love ever after
I can not get enough
I just wanna feel
Real love feel the home that I live in
I got too much love
Running through my veins
To go to waste
I just wanna feel
Real love and the love ever after
There's a hole in my soul
You can see it in my face
It's a real big place
Come and hold my hand
I wanna contact the living
Not sure I understand
This role I've been given
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand

Original Poems by POF'ers
Posted: 4/12/2006 1:01:20 AM
This i gathered from thoughts over time from various people
Prayer from the Ladies
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep.
One who's handsome, smart and strong,
One whose willy is thick and long.
One who thinks before he speaks,
When he promises to call, he won't wait for weeks.
I pray that he is gainfully employed,
And when I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair & opens my door,
Massages my back & begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who will make love to my mind,
Knows just what to say when I ask, 'How big's my behind?'
One who'll make love till my body's a twitching,
In the hall, the loo, the garden and kitchen!
I pray that this man will love me no end,
And never attempt to shag my best friend.
And as I kneel and pray by my bed,
I look at the Shit Head you sent me instead!
Amen
Answer to your Prayers?
Shall I make love to your mind ‘til you weep?
Then you won’t want to lay down and sleep.
I promise that I’ll call you this week
and will always think before I speak.
You’re welcome to spend hard earned cash,
just as long as it’s on nothing too flash.
I’d love to massage your neck, back and more,
until you cry “please give me more!”
So when you ask how big is your behind,
I would never answer you unkind.
Before I make love ‘til you’re twitching,
perhaps I should ask “how big is your kitchen?”
I could never shag your best friend,
as life is too short for our love to end.
You would like me to pull out your chair,
But then you had better beware.
Coz I might just do it just as you sit,
Then you would be in deep shit!
‘Fraid I’m not handsome and strong,
Nor is my willy thick and long.
But life’s not perfect as you have seen,
And at least I am tidy and clean.
You wanted humour, I hope I’ve supplied,
I hope I have made you laugh ‘til you cried.
For I know that humour you have missed
And before you ask, no I’m not pissed.
So when you next look at the shithead beside you,
Think of all the laughs that I could give you.

THANK you all..BUT for the last time lol WHEN HE TOOK THEM FOR THAT NIGHT HE WAS IN HIS OLD HOUSE THEN AND I DID KNOW WHERE THEY WAS he then moved away after that and wont tell me where.
Yes as for a therapist they are all the list for this...Being there strength only comes natural for me without saying I want whats best for them all i never say a bad word against him i dont feel angry just want what is right for my children and there future as being a loving mother they way i always have been keeping them stimulated and surrounded with fun and excitement but also being just as firm but fair...Really thanks for all your replies i'm so glad i decided to share what i knew was right.
God bless ya's all

whiskey
For one thing i will say is that i was with that man for 14 years he never hurt them kidshe wasnt exactly gonna run of wid them lol the night that n as it was before he moved to cornwall...He dont deserve the right to hurt my children...my Eldest is nearly 11 and she has him figured out he was never there much when was together and he's playin emotioal games wid my 6 year olds head then there's my youngest son who's 5 and dont even mention he dont send them no birthday presents cards xmas prezzie's nothing thats not a deserving father what im supposed to do lie to them everytime as to why they aint a present under the tree of their dad...Behave he's an animal they can do without.. turned up once in 4 years and rings up tryin to speak to me not the kids yer right better to be an absent father totally than on the back of the kids heads thinkin they might see daddy one day!!! False hopes. No he's upset my children to may times now
the earlier its sorted the quicker they will realise he's not worth it like my Eldest does she sed he wont turn up to her sister as im the mother thats there for them i have a responability let them grow up without all this rubbish its not right to stand aside and let him get my kids head mashed she goes in school crying and then the teachers tell me and ask whats going on...Im not letting him get me the bad mother image either...i want my children to grow up happy not on some happy pill because i let it go on for years she will hate me more i'd rather tell her the truth i wasn't brought up in that manner i had both parents sharing my childhood and i was happy im cant do it to her

How do I handle the question..where is my daddy? or why don't I have a daddy too?
Posted: 4/7/2006 7:31:32 PM
Mychdren asked the same and i told them as much as i could that mum and dad didnt get along and we are better being friends than shouting at one another i said now mummy is happy and so is dad...I then stated to piont out the different types of families homes that are worse of and we are lucky but one thing is never ever put the absent father down to your child that would only upset the child more to the point where he feels that you dont like his dad and all you previously mentioned how you get on does is showing that you are a liar in all this...the sooner your child knows some truth the better all round he will appreciate you more for helping him understand when be gets older rather than tell him summit of the rails yes tell him also that he has another girlfirend if you feel its best it might make him a bit happier knowing he is happy.
Don't ever be worried about tell your children the truth within reason. Its life hun
good luck

Thanks for that kevin...he's not turning up at all ive stopped him speakin to the kids and done all of the above with intructions to let me know and i shall let them know 5 mins before you get here...nope he broke the promise with me even. I can get an injunction put on him as he hasn't done anything of a criminal nature in the eyes of the law. I can only hope for a decent solicitor as Pagen mentioned ealier and take him to court not that he will fight for them as he don't pay any money to the kids i don't see him payin solicitors fee's and court cost...I just want to know where he lives and that will be the end of him
As for good male figures in there lives i have four brothers all of which are 66 miles away from here and my father lives 120 miles away...So that one is a no go well not as often as for them to have an inluence to stay around lol
