Why would he pull away?

Ask him? Why is it so taboo to just ask how someone is feeling or why they're being a certain way?

I just a need a guy point of view....

Seriously? Well, from what I can actually read of this I'd say he doesn't trust you very much, but it's hard to read into it without knowing what his tone/emotion was when asking about your day? Did he sound accusing as if he saw your ex come over? Was he jealous? Frankly, you should decide if it's really worth the trouble to deal with him, and if so maybe just try to get out in the open what's bothering him.

Men don't like TALL women

General statements are very general. Everyone has their taste in men/women and physical appearances.

Why do I always put my foot in my mouth about my weight?
Posted: 5/14/2009 8:20:17 PM
I've had this in the back of my mind before, just try not to let the self-consciousness eat at you. As corny as it sounds, talk yourself up in your mind or even out loud if nobody is around. It goes back to the whole cliche "You have to love yourself first" type deal.

Gamerz?

I played WoW for a bit, quit around December, tried to pick the game up recently again after playing mostly TF2 and Left 4 Dead (PC by the way), and I couldn't stand it. I guess the constant action of FPS made me intolerant to grinding in MMOs. Been backtracking some single player games that I missed while I exclusively played WoW before. Finished Half Life 2, HL2: Episode 1 and 2, and got Mirror's Edge when it was on sale in Steam last week.

Fat Princess

GTA is stereotypical about nearly every race and ethnicity, Leisure Suit Larry would probably be even more offensive to women than this game. Given the insults from some of the fanboys were uncalled for but the oversensitivity and political correctness of our culture does seem to get out of hand sometimes. I'm overweight myself and I'm not ****ing about moaning about every television show, game, or video I see on youtube saying something about fat people.

When did you fall in love with music?
Posted: 8/6/2008 12:56:48 AM
Probably my first concert was what revitalized my love of music. Just the raw energy and everyone huddled together, with the scent of cigarettes and sweat. Good times. =)

the success in Iraq

This made me laugh a bit. How is one of the biggest resource drain and loss of life in this decade a success?

Impeachment
Posted: 8/6/2008 12:46:21 AM
It's been a little while since my US Gov. courses so I'm probably off with how the process of impeachment works, but what the hell has to happen to get rid of the braindead administration we have (I know it's kind of late and isn't going to happen, but I can dream can't I?) I mean there was talk of impeachment around Clinton lying about recieving oral sex from Monica Lewinsky, yet we've been bold-faced lied to by the Bush Administration on numerous occassions (most obvious, the "WMDs"), yet nothing of the sort. This really needs to be made into a vote of the public. Though, I really think Congress is borderline useless, and everything should be made into a direct vote, but that'll never happen.

Indie music revolution
Posted: 8/6/2008 12:16:03 AM
Not even sure if these are considered Indie or not, but I believe both Modest Mouse and Feist fall into the genre. Picked up some Feist from this little place I like to call an ipod commercial (yes I'm quoting Stephen Colbert here! :D) And Modest Mouse was suggested to me by a friend. March Into the Sea is by far my favorite song, very strong and has some rage to it, but sticks with the raw feeling of the band.

Though seriously, electronica can be good for long rides. Download some DJ Luna (Hardstyle Remix is good). Modest Mouse is all good driving music in my opinion.

No matter what type of music you're into you have to listen to "I've Been Everywhere" by Johnny Cash at least once during the drive. :P
