ok.....so i live in the city....and have been considering buying another 4x4 so i can go 4x4ing.......so because i live in the city...does that mean i shouldnt be able to buy one???? and yes my last two 4 wheel drives got used regularly as 4x4's.....but i had to drive them thru the city to be able to go 4x4ing.....no i dont agree with the mums using them just as a family vehicle.....if u want a vehicle that will carry more then by a van or people mover...but i do know of people who use their 4x4 every day during the week as a run around vehicle....but on the weekends use it out in the bush or on the beach as a 4x4?? do they cant have their 4x4 anymore to pursue their hobby???

Problems with messenger
Posted:

ok if you are having problems with the microsoft version of windows live messenger..there is alternatives to use,......try searching for "amsn" or "pidgin" they work well and are both open source as well...and yes now microsoft wont let u continue unless u update to the latest version of windows live messenger (the old msn)......the new version should run properly on any version of windows from the old win2000 to xp, vista and windows 7. the only versions it doesnt support is xp pro x64 edition (what i use) and windows server 2003...but if anyone is using the and wants to use the microsoft version of messenger give me a message and i can help you out to get them to run if you need it

well....after meeting a few of our wonderful forumites on the weekend, and observing them in various states of sobriety lol it got me thinking....we sort of form an idea of someone in our heads from what we see on here (well i do) and this weekend was a great time to see how accurate i was :) and suprisingly i wasnt too far off the mark, one of these people i have been conversing with for quite some time, and what i was expecting was what i saw....all in a good way of course!!! i wont spill any names lol but these people know who they are hehe....just wondering if anyone else has formed a mental image and idea of what someone would be like from the forums and emails and then met them.....how did it hold out against real life???

ok, well i have 3 kids....2 of them have my last name and always will and one has both mine and her mothers last name, just hyphenated, but if this happened to me, what is happening to you, there is no way i would be putting up with it, my ex wife tried it once, but she soon realised that i wouldnt just lie down and let it happen, and gave up on it. all i can say caves is keep up the fight and dont let her take your little girl away...good luck with it

well hmmmmm i have been separated for a few years now, with absolutely no chance of getting back with my ex wife.....we just havnt got around to getting the divorce done......partly due to the expense (no not issues with dividing everything, just the cost of the divorce itself) and the fact that both of us work and arevery busy during the day and also are probably too lazy to get it done lol. although i have recently filled out my part of the paperwork and now just have to get her to fill out her part and put it in.....so probably soon

regrets??? do you have them???
Posted:
7/16/2009 3:38:07 AM
i was talking to a member of the opposite sex recently, and she asked me what my biggest regret in life was........this had me thinking.....for quite a while actually.....thinking through things that have happened to me and things i had done.....then i got to thinking.....all the things that i have done and all the things that have happened in my life, have made me who i am today...and im pretty happy with who i am....so...why should i regret any of it really?? i must admit i have done som epretty stupid things in my life....but i have learned from it all, and it has made me grow into who i am now, so in thinking about it, i came to the conclusion...i dont really regret anything i have done or anything that has happened.
does anyone else have this philosophy (dont know if it is much of a philosophy lol but its mine hehehe)
if you are happy with who you are now, and what has happened previously in your life has made you the way you are.....should we really regret any of it??
just wondering

Do Men in their 40's Want a relationship, YES A RELATIONSHIP ? A real One !!!

1. You will be in charge of cooking, cleaning, yard work and putting the wheelie bins out
2.Picking up the dog poo's out of the yard will be your job.
3.You will never want to go out with your mates.
4.You will happily allow me to go out with my mates.
5. You will make me tea in bed in the mornings.
6.You will not expect me to give out after making my tea.
7. You will not expect me to give out at all, you will give out only when I want it and never hassle me for it inbetween times.
8.You will pick me up at 3am when I have gone out and gotten drunk with my friends.
9 You will constantly tell me how stunning I am and always tell me my bum looks small in those jeans.
10. In fact you will do what I want, when I want and how I want without question and will never whinge about it.
hmm lets see lol
1. dont mind doing the cooking, some of the cleaning, yard work, and am happy to take the bins out
2. isnt that part of the yard work??
3. hmmm that one could be difficult...but i dont drink so i wont go to the pub with them lol
4. no issues with that one
5. this could be a tough one lol....people have sworn off coffee and tea when i have made it for them lol (i dont drink it so i dont make it well lol)
6. hehe wouldnt be too much different from my ex wife lol so i am used to that bit
7. refer to number 6
8. no problems with that one lol
9. definitely no problems with this one
10. no whinging....hmm does this mean i cant whinge to you but it is ok to whinge to my work mates about it?? if so then that is ok lol

no.....i didnt have a drinking issue lol...when i used to drink i was a very happy drunk type of person lol......but the 7 yrs i did in the navy i did a LOT of drinking hehe and am pretty much over it all lol.....plus working in clubs made me see what people look like when they are drunk hehe....and i sorta thought to myself,.......damn do i look like that when i am drunk?? i dont mind the very occasional drink...like one or two for a celebration...but that is it....i dont see the point of going out to get blind drunk anymore.....i dont like the way i felt the next morning hehehehe i have no problem if someone else drinks....including my partner (if i had one) my ex used to go out and have nights out and i had no problem with it at all......i just dont want to do it anymore

Favorite Beaches in Queensland
Posted:
7/4/2009 8:04:43 AM
well i have seen quite a few beaches mostly up the east coast.....but my personal favourite would have to be one i went to when i was in the navy.......i was on one of the old fremantle class patrol boats based in darwin and we were doing a trip from darwin across to port hedland and broome.....we anchored not far off shore for a few days and used that time wisely (went fishing a lot lol) we also found a beautiful deserted beach right there........looked like it hadnt seen a human being for a very long time.....beautiful white sand....basically looked like the perfect tropical deserted island beach lol.....i just cant remember what the place was called, i did check it out on the chart of the area....but that was along time ago lol

hmmm i wasnt going to get into this one as there are a lot of arguments for and against...and myself, not having any academic qualifications in this area havnt really got too much to add lol, but i grew up in north qld near townsville where the water has had flouride added for decades i think and i havnt had any issues with my teeth, but with my children who have grown up down here, well the oldest (7) has had to have a tooth removed, and several fillings done......and he does brush his teeth properly and we all do practice good dental hygiene.... so personally i dont have a problem with it

i personally dont care what the "lady bits" look like....as long as they are functional lol....not that i have had anything to do with any for a while.......im not sure what they look like anymore....and i dont think any female should feel ashamed or otherwise at what their bits look like...

ok.......if she had given you her number......i dont think it would have been an issue.....but as u found it.....and yes i know some people seem to put all their lifes details on msn or facebook or whatever,...... i think it might have been overstepping a tiny bit.....but i dont think it was that drastic....i personally would have waited until she gave me the number to call or sms her...but thats just me

ok after working on the dell laptops at work i wouldnt reccomend one.....some seem to go ok but a lot seem to have issues....i have a lg laptop and it seems to be really good....toshiba are great....we had toshibas at my old workplace and they never had issues.....if u get something with 4 gig of ram or more u will have to run vista 64bit or at the very least xp pro x64 edition as the 32 bit windows systems wont recognise all the ramlook for decent hdd size at least 160g and also check for after sales parts availability...whether generic parts can be used on it if something breaks down

Can you go from friends to lovers and then back to friends??

i think it would be very difficult...unless you had a very strong friendship that could stand up to whatever came after the whole sexual relationship thing........or possibly if you were only "passing acquaintances" then it might be ok.......as there wouldnt be that really strong friendship bond that could possibly become very strained after something like a sexual relationship as usually that sort of relationship can stir up stronger feelings than just friendship........but as a few people have said in here......it is really dependent on the people involved, and what they think of the idea
