Question for all Bank Employees
Posted:
1/25/2006 4:51:44 PM
Usually what happens is the banks close their doors in a national emergency to stop runs on money and panic. If a bank is open though, they cant stop you getting to your safety deposit box if you have clear proof of id.
Plus they in theory dont know whats in the box.

Clumsy Moments.....What are yours?

Mine was; showing off on a jetski and ending up going flying off the back. Only problem was somehow my swim shorts were not on as tight as they should have been. Shorts ended up at the bottom of the lake and Life jackets make very strange substitute swim shorts ;)

Beneficiaries of your Policies!
Posted:
1/24/2006 4:09:46 PM
Unless you revise all documents like life insurance, rrsps etc then the previous Beneficiaries get the money. Remember a beneificiary can be someone who is completely unreleated to you. Since you signed a document that named someone, unless you revoke that with a later docoment then it still stands. No Divorce decree, separation agrement etc reverses any of this. You have to make sure you revoke any will's etc separately.
In fact with Wills you really do have to revoke them since its not unknown to have two wills in existence and then legal battles over which one is valid. Normally you destroy or revoke the previous will.

For Those That Did Not Vote.......
Posted:
1/24/2006 3:59:22 PM
Even if you decline your vote, all you did is help politicians waste more money. They do that very well. How much does an election cost. Forget about what the parties raise etc from donations. What about what we darn well pay. An election costs millions that could have gone somewhere else. So you decline the ballots. It will cause another election if you get enought votes. Thats a very big maybe btw. But in the end there will have to be another election and lol we pay for that too.
Take the other argument the parties take notice, its mostly spin. Its better to work from inside out enought people do that then differences can be made.

The Catch

lol Subtle hints about how to please you hahaha they wont work. Us guys understand subtle as being a brick to the head or do it this way goofus. In other words subtlety goes clear over our heads 99% of the time. So tell him what he has to do better and hope that he has an imagination. Usually people who can chat and have ideas have imaginations so I'm sure he can get better in the sack.
Now if he is one of those types who thinks sex is for creating babies only then lol ditch him he wont change.

For Those That Did Not Vote.......

The problem with declining is the result of it is nothing. You still get no change if you didnt like the current politicians or policies. The reason is that in the end a very small minority decline, so you end up being a blip and thats it. You can say more people should do it, but in the end they wont. You think declined votes mean more than a 10 second bit on the news lol. If 50 or 60% of voters declined that might but the .001 percent who do are so far below the radar its not looked at.
Also think about how much an election costs. You want to force recalls by declines all you end up doing is costing yourslef more money aand the goverment wastes enough of that irregardless of what party is in power.
We all do have time to make a difference, its just easier to not get involved since hey we might have to see all sides of an issue.
Getting involved doesnt have to be big, just letting the MP in your riding know your disatisfaction with a vote they cast is enough. Politicans get by by knowing that the vast majority of people think its someone else's responsibilty to effect change and therefore dont bother to be aware of what the MP votes in parliament.
This becomes more important if there are free votes on key issues since no politician who is in it for the long run is going to cast a vote that goes against the wishes of his riding and he gets that by people taking the time to make sure he knows!

Hey play sex teacher and choose the guy who can converse. Or to take it to its extreme if you end up marrying the guy and have kids with the "happy ever after bit" you are going to get real bored with conversations that only involve grunts, burps or pass the remote.

More to the point if you dont like the parties or candidates then get involved and work to get ones you do like. We get the parties and candidates we deserve. So all the not voting because you are fed up with the system, or spoiling votes or writing declined does is mean the same lame people still stay in power. What good is that?
And if you think writing declined will do some good you are dreaming big time. There will always be people who vote and therefore there will never be recalls based on your logic.
Either vote or work to change the system but dont do cute types of ballot spoiling as it does no darned good and is a copout.

How can you tell??? A question for men!

Since he is your boss, if has any kind of ethics then you're definately off limits as far as he should be concerned. Whilst he is your boss you should think the same way. Many people have found themselves unemployed once a relationship goes sour.
If he is transferring out of your office and wont be your boss then of course that is different, but you dont want to get involved until that happens.

lol political correctness is often a great way to not have to discuss things. Or as here so camouflage the subject that in the end no one see's it. Wonder what the title would have been changed to if it hand beeen titled "To be First nations Status". Its kind of hard to change that.

Great posting, and a good succinct description of what a mess the rules are that govern all of this. I'd add the Lawyers and interested parties onto the government as being responsible.

Can you love someone unconditionally?

If he's whispering someone else's name its time to move on, its better to live love and leave than go through the poisoning of what was once good and it sure will poison it over time or if you stay always have you doubting which is the same as poisoning the relationship.

He's living in the past, she should live in the future and move on. Life's too short to wait for him to get over it after 10 years. It may even wake him up to the fact that he is his own problem now.
