know where you are coming from ! i met what appeared to be a nice man, we met for a drink and after he ordered tthe drinks we sat down chatting and he was almost about to hang himself he was so depressing saying that he had a 2yr old blah blah, then he said i am off this is not going to work and he just left me in the pub i felt such a fool but also relieved that he had gone, then the cheeky man sent a message on pof saying i was too fat and horrible and had no conversation !! i am 5ft 8ins and 11and a half stone ..
And guess what his user name is Passionfiller What a Joke ...

i can't believe that a guy would do that to you I mean fair enough if you don't hit it off but to do that is just rude. You are better off out of it if you ask me.

I have one tattoo which to me does hold meanings, its at the bottom of my back and a design and then my sons name.
I didn't want mine in view for everyone to see and know that if I want to cover it I can.
I ain't really thought about when I am 60/70 hoping I live that long but least I can cover it.

There would be no way I could even entertain a 1 night stand I couldn't even have sex in the first week.

Children - the double standard

Well I am a single Mom, I have been with a guy who had children and never did I expect him to put me before his Son no way at all its not right and should not be expected. Whether its the mum or dad they should both be the same. I would totally understand if I was with a man who wanted to spend time with his Daughter/Son and would see it as bonding time I know that my time would come later.
I am certain that you have not met the right person here because someone will love and adore you and take on your child.

We can't answer why she blocked you, some people can do it in error but the thing is we can't answer this. I know your probably wondering why but there is nothing you can do apart from accept this and move on.

I would say across from someone, when I met a guy a few months back we sat next to each other on a lovely leather sofa and it was great we got the closeness but then on the other hand felt like you could not talk properly because weird straining to turn etc... def across.

I would not meet somone and then sleep with them a week afterwards, I would certainly want to get to know someone before I gave that extra part of me. You know when it feels right though.x

I would want a guy whose loving, caring and honest and just someone who would love me for me.
I would just want honesty and the love, but I know that you need to have chemistry there too.

Matty - Well I think this day and age its best not to go lookin for love and let it find you, there is always a prince or princess out there for everyone its just sometimes difficult to find.
one way or another I am sure we will all be blessed with our one true love.

I am no expert when it comes to profile just be honest and say how it is. I can't really pinpoint any negative things. I was always told to add more things to my profile ie more photos and thats maybe what you are lacking.

I am open to opinions and yes while you have been honest with me about my hair I do occasionally have my hair straight. The thing is so many women out there with straight hair and I love my hair being curly. Its so much easier to manage and so many people tell me that my hair suits me curly.
Its not about what you always look like its about how you are has a person.
I don't mind the comments you have made feel free, but its like when I look at other peoples profiles I think they could somewhat do with changing there image but if they are comfortable with it then so be it.

The thing is this guy who I have contacted it was me who made the first move I am not old fashioned and see no harm if you like someoen then ask them to go out for a drink, whats the worst that can happen they only say NO.

I am sure there are positive stories on here and I see some negatives.
I have spoke to a few guys on here but unfortunately its not what I want and i can't give them what they want.
I have recently been talking to a great guy and meeting for the first time next week never say never I am sure there is someone out there for us all.

If you don't feel comfortable with meeting then don't be forced into it. Saying that I have been exchanging messages with a guy on here for a week now and then we have spoke for the 1st time today on the phone we hit it off straight away and decided to meet at the pub next week.

I think long term is more of a future thing, nobody can say what they see as long term but I would take it as nothing short term and something of a more serious nature.

I am a single mom and I know some men wouldn't want to take on another child. Its not easy for us moms but if the man doesn't want to take on anyone elses children least they say from word go.
I just think the older you get and you are wanting to date the chances of finding someone with children becomes very slim.
