I placed an ad on here in 2005 and met this amazing man. We dated, he asked me to move in Jan '06 and last Nov, we were married : ) Trust me: I am not saying you don't have to go thru some toads ladies, you do, as with any site. But you know what? You can meet that one guy who is PERFECT for who YOU are! I did the e-harmony thing [waste of time when you are Wiccan], Match, Tru...but this site was the one that paid off for me. AND a guy I dated is a friend, so keep in there! It can happen - don't compromise on what you want or who you are...the right guy is out there : ) I found mine!

Jealousy will kill a relationship. My ex husband was jealous to the extreme, to where he actually told me I couldn't talk to guys I worked with. Our relationship...yeah it got scary due to his insecurity and jealousy........

Depends on the girl-me? I like someone who can make me laugh, who I enjoy being with, who understands if I am a bit gun-shy when it comes to relationships. Someone I can have an actual conversation with, whether it is about politics or the point spread on the weekend game. Who, even if we're just sitting on the couch, I can think 'wow, this is awesome'.....

Oh hun, my mum died last may 2004. I had no notice....my parents lived in Arizona and I live in Texas. Mum knew what was coming I think when I last saw her which was Yule 2003..we had a long talk. If you can get there at the time, all well and good. If not, make your blessings before you go. I'm a firm believer in that they will know you love them. I didn't have the chance to say it, but I know my mum knew, and knows everyday how much I loved and still love her [damn tears]. It is never a fun ride, but know he knows you love him ok?

Thank you :). I think it's the sword reference honestly. I think they are awesome weapons, and I enjoy displaying them and training with them. Morrigan my Claymore is a big girl and my pride and joy :). Part of my heritage and of that I am VERY proud, right down to my mum's Clan Badge on my shoulder.

That's what I figure too Daisie. I am who I am: kilt, swords and all [shrug]. Why should I lie and pretend to be something I am not? Yes, I am more comfortable in jeans than a dress, altho I do own some killer dresses and can dress to the 9's. I prefer my harley boots to heels, and I can armchair QB better than most of my guy friends *lol*. I can tune a truck or a cycle, change oil and a tire and not break a nail, and if I do that is what my nail tech is there for, right? ;)

My ex LTR and I, we talk often and I consider him one of my closest friends. If someone I am seeing is tells me they are threatened by our friendship, I would let them know I understand but that they also need to understand and accept that he is my friend, nothing more. GODS, how much time do you have? *lol* I've learned, they start getting handsy, I firmly remind them of the temper that comes with the red hair and the Celtic blood. And once I actually had to slug a guy because he didn't heed the warning [shrug]. Not all guys are like the ones who think online is a great place to 'score'....you just have to weed them out. Separate cars are a great way to do that. 'Pick me up? No thanks, how about I meet you there, have other things to do beforehand' ect ect. That way, you can always leave :)
