Thank you LT2000.......your apology is wholeheartedly accepted! But, more importantly, it's a bit of validation to the point of having not just our 'opinion' attacked, but our 'character'! I must say, even though I will most likely never meet these folks (or many on this or any other site, for that matter), the personal undercutting attacks stung. In fact, I stood in front of my mirror and asked myself....."do you really think you're better than anyone else?"......The answer was, and will continue to be, "EMPHATIC N-O!" I'm still busy in my 'love lab' trying to discover the magic formula necessary to create CHEMISTRY and ATTRACTION!!! If I figure it out......I'll bottle it and become rich & famous!!!!!!! LOL Finally and seriously.......I DO understand how people took mine and camRT's words as offensive and while I can't speak for her (and where did she go....by the way??? ) I will, again, apologize for hurting and/or offending anyone on here.......it was, in no way, my intent when responding to the OP's original post. To NateinCA......I apologize for not sending you a reply. There is no excuse......it is the right thing to do and I should've taken the time.......I suck!

Breifne: Could it be........a rational person providing a bit of cover to the reigning champ of "10 Most Hated Subscribers on POF" in the midst of this hailstorm of 'UGLY'??!!! Thanx for sticking your neck out and stating the obvious!!! Although I've made every effort in my life to polish my written communication skills, I have to constantly remind myself that, while I know what context my words are meant to be interpreted....it is simply impossible to relay every facial expression or bodily gesture while attempting to offer my opinion. I couldn't agree with you more.......in hindsight I'd re-think my method..........and probably would keep QUIET!!! I must say, however, that I was continually amazed that my fiercest opponents refused to consider my ENTIRE posts!!! I'm pretty sure that in every message I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that in no way do I think of myself as being ABOVE or BETTER than anyone else... Next time I think it might be fun to offer my opinion on one of these forums, I'll take time to don my suit of armour in case I get the pleasure of facing the firing squad again! Lastly......here's a little treasure for all you folks out there who have assumed that I actually believe I'm perfect and never make a typo or misspell a word........Remember what I said....."spells like a 3rd grader CONSISTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE EMAIL"..... What exactly is it that you need me to explain? I can't tell you how many emails I've received from guys who either CAN'T spell or don't care. When a man tells me he is educated but spells like a 3rd grader (consistently throughout his entire email)......good looking or not.......I'M NOT IMPRESSED! It's becoming all too clear that there are several very one-dimensional people on this site. Why is it that just because I've offered my opinion - that may differ from yours - as well as some personal experiences on this site; automatically, I MUST be an awful person who sends mean and hurtful emails to guys that I think are 'beneath' me. Let me repeat myself........I DON'T begin to think I'm better than anyone here or anywhere else. I find it very difficult to believe that all of you who have raked camRT and me over the coals haven't received an email or two from someone who was clearly not a good match for them in any number of ways. Perhaps you should consider getting off YOUR soapbox and quit acting so righteous..........YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYONE!

Thank you Miss Bad Kitty for having mercy on me.....I will forever be indebted to you!!! GIMME A BREAK!!!! I didn't apologize for my 'thinking' or for having an opinion that is largely opposed here on this forum.....I simply apologized for the "way I came across" and for hurting people's feelings. For the record.....I will not be making "adjustments to my thinking" on this matter. It is an opinion.........and we're all entitled to one!

After reading all of your comments........I understand completely how my comments must've been interpreted! I'M HORRIFIED!!! In no way do I think I'm BETTER than anyone else on this site (or any other site, for that matter).......and I've NEVER......EVER.....sent a mean-spirited reply to anyone. It is not in my nature to hurt people intentionally!!! I married a man that at first glance didn't have 1 oz. of attraction to. It was only after getting to know him that I fell madly in love with him and found him extremely attractive. Unfortunately, for other reasons, we couldn't weather the storm.....but that's beside the point. My point here really is: ... until all the pieces fit......the mystery will continue to linger......"where is HE???". From the bottom of my heart.......My apologies to all I've offended.

OH MY GOD...........C'MON PEOPLE!!!! It's so obvious............A VERY LARGE PERCENTAGE of men don't ever mature beyond our horny friends, Apocx and JtyrelB, and actually think we LIKE it when they talk dirty to us within 7.9 seconds of meeting!!! None of my pix are even close to being provocative and my profile steers completely clear of sexual conotations - (I did that on purpose!).......I have not asked for it!!! And I would have to say.......at least 80% of the men who IM me.......start talkin' this crap within the first frame of conversation! Plain And Simple: LOTS OF MEN HAVE NO RESPECT!!!! Move along and don't get hung up on the "Whys".......there are still really great guys out there.........lookin' for us really great gals!!!!!

I empathize with you completely! I have never considered myself to be "hot" (even tho' I've been told that a few times......I just think they're being nice!). On the other hand......I'm not a complete idiot and have eyes and a mirror......so I know I linger somewhere around the "average" mark on the richter scale. I used to get really offended when I would receive emails from those I considered to be COMPLETE DORKS......and would even go so far as penning a "What Makes You Think......." reply.......but decided that was just plain mean! Now, I just put them in the "Ya Can't Beat A Man For Tryin'" category, and quietly delete them. On the flip side........I get plenty of emails from decent looking men who can't spell or use correct grammar (even tho' they've lived here forever) to save their life! THOSE are the emails that I have a problem with. My thought is, you don't get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression............why would I waste my time with someone who claims to be educated and intelligent but can't even form a complete a sentence or doesn't know the difference between a noun and a verb!!! NO WONDER NO ONE'S RESPONDING TO YOUR MORONIC EMAILS!!!!
