Posted: 8/18/2008 5:14:27 AM Did you get your ride, yet?? If you are someplace that requires helmets, then most motorcycle owners will have more than one, so that should not be a problem. If helmet s are not required, Then you must make sure you have GOOD eye protection!!!! No responsible rider will let you get on with out it. I'm guessing from your post that this will be your first ride, yes? If so then the operator is going to have to spend a few minutes going over proper pillion etiquette. Remember, this is not a car and the pillion has much input. As a long time rider who has given many people their first ride , I've learned the importance of this preride talk....Oh, the stories I could tell..... And most of the people I've given their first ride just walked up and asked me.... Now we all know that motels bolt the head board to the wall for good reason.. Well, she is on her back, hips propped up on pillows, holding her knees.... I've got a firm grip on the head board and things are going great, when.. the headboard comes off the wall, straight down across her forehead..!!!!!
