Yes it is very difficult being single these days. Especially when looking for the right one. You have to use all of your resources. I am a very busy person with two jobs, so this helps. Also you never know where your soulmate is. And it does seem like the right one for me is hard to find.

Don't be so hard on him guys...he's just curious and you can't learn anything if you don't ask questions...That being said, it doesn't mean you're any less of a man than the next, it's just that that person decided it wasn't something that worked for them in their relationships. They may change their minds later. Or even do something with you that they wouldn't do with anyone else. Every new experience poses and new and different opportunity. jmho.

I think chemistry has to be on a mutual level. I have met guys that thought there was more chemistry between us than I did. So no matter what you think chemistry is I think you have to be on the same page in the relationship as the other person. If his feelings are stronger for you it may make you end up feeling pressured to feel something for him.

If he called you twice wouldn't you have his number on your caller ID? I always make sure i know someones phone number if I am going to meeting them somewhere. Just in case something were to happen on my end. Seems lately alot of people are having communication problems. When he said wait in the parking lot for me and you said you were going to wait inside I am imagining you sounding like you aren't going to be told what to do and youre going to wait inside. I don't know the convo but i would have said something like "well since i am here and you are about 20 minutes away I will go ahead and put our name on the list and use the little girls room and meet you inside OK?" And if he got mad I would ask him why he was upset. But it doesn't seem like you two were a match anyway. And in life its not about who is right and who is wrong...thats the problem with most failed relationships is the focus on who's right or wrong...it doesn't really matter who is right. the only thing that matters is that obviously the two of you aren't compatible and chalk it up to lessons learned.

bucsgirl,,,,we have been talking for 5 months now. Even though i haven't met him in person yet we have talked alot about life and laughed and had simple conversations. We haven't talked about me being his wife. It came up that he doesn't like to get woken up by a phone call in the middle of the night because it brings back memories of when his mom called and his dad had died from a heart attack. I asked him wouldn't he want to know if someone was hurt and he said his kids yes., i asked what about his wife and he said she would be lying next to him. I said what if he was out of town. he said she would still be lying next to me. I said not if he were out of town for work and she was to be at work the next day. Thats when he said his wife wouldn't be working. So thats how it came about. Personally I like the gifts. Some people are just givers and it doesn't mean they are trying to buy your affection. I think you need to let yourself not be so skeptical because of past experience. Every new situation is not like others. You are cheating yourself by not allowing it to possibly be a new experience.

Just wanted to update you all. We will meet in one week. He has showered me with gifts. Something I am not used to, but loving it. and to the guy that mentioned i would be working 14 years after he retires...he is a lawyer that owns a housing development...so he doesn't want his future wife to work...but i am not one to not work....i will always do something even if its my massage therapy just to keep me busy and mad money.

I have read the book and my primary love language is Physical touch and secondary is words of affirmation...you can feel loved other ways however when you feel really, truely loved is when someone is speaking your language. This was so true for me in my marriage. It really helps if you know his love language because everyone tries to show love how they want it. I was very romantic and gave gifts but his love language was acts of service and he was always working in the yard. Thinking that was showing me love when all i really wanted was to be next to him. Its a great book...take what you want from it and use it to better your friendships and relationships

If she knows ahead of time that there is nothing more...she can probably still have an orgasm but she will think of him often. She will eventually get over it emotionally IF they never talk again. but as long as they are talking there will always be an emotional attatchment for the woman. anywhere from 1200-10's of thousands of dollars,,,,but also emotionally it takes time to get over what you were used to...even if it was a bad situation. I recommend going to some character building workshops and make a 5 year vision map to keep yourself looking at the future you will build rather than what was lost...

as far as i can tell...yes i really like him. He has a great personality. I haven't met him in person yet, but we have been talking and been friends for 4 months. He is crazy about me so far. I read it and the way i feel is you might be missing out on something really wonderful if you just decide to move on cause you think he's not that into you. guys what do you think? If you don't make a point to call someone does that mean you just aren't that into them?
