In any relationship where someone says that they will call you back or you make plans and they stand you up. I have had someone do this to me a few times all he said was well I was at work late( ok I understand that area) But than the last time I got stood up it was because he was out drinking with his roomate. I only seen him about once a week. I am wondering if it is worth even continuing the realationship. ( hard2forgetlady's friend)

Ok I would like to add something here. lol. One thing is for sure that If I could drop a person that is 6'3 and I am only 5'4 really I am sure that some one a bit smaller than me would have no issues with that if trained properly. I myself figure that if a female right out and hits her partner out of anger the guy should have the right to defend himself but use nessassary force. That does not mean beat the crap out of her. It just means use enough force to protect yourself. I would think that of a female to do as well but for the most part If you are fightting with some one you are supposed to be in love with than really take a step back and think about it. Are you really in love ???? Now if it is just some random person who has threatend you or your family than hell ya beat the snot outta them. It kinda works in a lot of diffrent ways. there are so many things that are classed as abuse now. But in a relationship I agree with most of the people here. Don't fight. Sometimes it is hard to walk away if you have that person comming at you. That is where you only use necssary force with that person. EG... If you have a 4'0 person you would not use the same type of force that you would use on a person of 6'0. You would seriously hurt that person. you know what I mean? If not just let me know and I will explain better. lol anyways now that my ran is done I will be on my way back to work lol. hehehehe

I got this fido phone 1 month ago and three times now they have suspended it , I have the unlimited local calling for three months but yet for some reason they said that my bill is over my credit limit. The first time they suspended my phone they said it was internet useage but I do not have the internet on my phone. The second time they said that I was calling people befor 7pm I explained that I have the unlimited local calling for 3 months that came with the plan. I ask to speak to a supervisor and I can not even get though what would you do?

hehe I would like to reply to that , Most " girls " define bad boys as people who cheat on them , been in and out of jail and done alot of stupid things with thier lives, My definition of a bad boy is: some one who is not afraid of being themselves and are respectful and naughty at the same time but nothing to the extent of breaking the law or hurting the person they care about. not sure if any of you would understand that sort of thinking. hehe.

My older brother was not kicked to the streets like what he did to my lil bro, He also beat him up. We atuck with my brother and supported him to help him get clean. He did not even try to help that is why I am mad at him.

I do not suppourt any contries leaders if they suppourt war that kill our families and friends and our children. Really what do we get out of all this besides a bunch of people laying on thier backs staring blankly into the sky.... Because they are dead, Mom's crying beside thier childs graves because some one missed a target. Families mouning because some suicide bomber decides that a hotel is a good place to let a bomb go off. there are so many different aspects of war and all are wrong. If a government decides to go to war and catch some one than so be it but do not continue the war and hurt inocent people. Really where has all the humanity and passion gone these days. People Call Canada down because we have the right Idea of trying to keep the peace when there are wars. I feel that the US Government needs to quit hatting people and learn to understand the people around them.

From what I heard from my older brother my younger bro ( The missing one ) had gotten into the drugs, he lived with my older bro but he got kicked out and than my older bro left him in Van on his own with nothing, This is why we are all concerned because my younger bro may be able to look after himself but now because of what my older brother did we have not been able to contact him. I am a little bit mad at my older brother because he did not try to help his younger brother.

Yea well I called the cops because one I was in full uniform and two my son's stuff was in my wallet. I would never apologize for calling the cops because I did not make him live on the streets and I was not the one who said doing crack is a good thing. He made his choices a long time ago and really I do not see why upstanding citazins have to take the abuse that the government causes or what that person chooses to do with his life. If a criminal can not clean up his act than he is not a good person and if you think this guy deserves to be out on the streets to do it again than maybe you should give him a place to live and teach him that it is not a good way to live unless you like seeing stuff like this happening. If I got the wrong idea of what you are getting at than I am sorry but if I am correct than there is no apology from me. From what I gather you used to be one of these people and you strightend your life up and if this is correct than good for you if not than sorry but I think you should explain better what you mean.

Getting your animals high or drunk is abuse. If you were a defensless animal and could not talk would you wanna have your owner doing that stuff to you??. Let me put it this way ... What if you as a human could not speak for yourself and some one feed you booze and than blew smoke into your nose and held your mouth shut what would you do. It is like saying it is ok to hurt living things. Your pets are your best friends and some people wonder why an animal gets viloent sometimes and than you have to put your pet down because it bites you. Animals can not talk and they will retaliate because that is how they will let you know that you are hurtting them, also when you do that to your pets thier life span shortens, you are cutting your pets life back it is not going to live as long as it should so in reality you are slowly killing your pets.

^ I do not live in BC I am in Calgary My mom Called me. I have phoned the last place of employment and I have checked the last number he called me from and it was a payphone. Other than that I have gone through my company that I work for in BC and they are going to keep an eye out for him but other than that I have done all I could do. My family member is normally pretty responsable and calls at least once a week to let my mom know how he is doing but I guess for the last three months he has not contacted any one. That is the only reason she is worried. I know that there are so many things that could cause this but I know my brother really well he has always been good at keeping in contact. I found out tonight that I should phone the Vancover Police from CPS here in Calgary they could not give me more info. All They said was to call Van. So I am going to do that in the morning. I hope that it is nothing serious.

well Thank you all for you kind words, The police did catch the guy and they did release him, he was told that he had to apologize to me. Like I said when dealing with most homeless people they just release them because they do these crimes to go to jail for the winter. I got my wallet back but no Id so shows that justice is blind.

Hi I was wondering how owuld you find a missing person if the police do not help. I have a family member missing in Vancouver BC and the police will not help my mom out because he is an adult but he has not contacted any one in three months which is out of character for him. What can we do?? I have tried everything I know and now I have ran out of options.

I came across this forum tonight and the first thing I thought was what kind of jack A** would even say this would be a good law. Licence to have children???? The only thing I can say is that there is no need for a licence or this injection he stated. One more thing is if you can have children and do not want to have children I think the guy should take responsability and also the female partner should practise safe sex... OR DO NOT HAVE SEX AT ALL that is the safest way to ensure you do not have children. I think this guy needs help or he just needs to keep it in his pants.

The reason employers do drug tests is for teh safety of the company and the other employees, would you like to work in an industry with some one that is cracked out or drunk and your life depends on thier actions if there was a fire?? I think not.

I have made a few phone calls to co-workers at other sites that I worked with in security they are going to watch for this guy because we all know who he is and it is sad that he had to rob me. I have self defence training and some army training but when you get held at knife point things are a bit different.

A peice of history for every one that says Canada was not invade. Our Beloved US tried between the years 1812 and 1813 due to : U.S. forces were not ready for war, and American hopes of conquering Canada collapsed in the campaigns of 1812 and 1813. The initial plan called for a three-pronged offensive: from Lake Champlain to Montreal; across the Niagara frontier; and into Upper Canada from Detroit. The attacks were uncoordinated, however, and all failed. In the West, Gen. William HULL surrendered Detroit to the British in August 1812; on the Niagara front, American troops lost the Battle of Queenston Heights in October; and along Lake Champlain the American forces withdrew in late November without seriously engaging the enemy. A peice of Canadian history that I mad a point of learning because I got tired of learning about what the US did and how the US lived back than they are not that perfict and they have thier secrets that they try to hide from teh rest of the world.

I moved to Calgary 3 years ago don't get me wrong I love it here but now I feel as though I should go back to where I used to live. I got off work last night just like any other night. On my way home I stoped and had a drink with a friend. I left the bar and headed home. about over half way there a man came up behind me and grabbed the back of my hair and held a knife to my throat. I lost my wallet and 50.00 I oculd care about the money but my wallet has my whole life in it. I am not sure how to deal with this because I do security and I deal with this stuff every day. I never thought it would happen to me. I did call the police but they had no luck finding the guy. Now I have so many mixed feelings I am not sure what to do. I almost did not go to work today.

I have been going to different sites to check them out, There are a few sites out there that say free,, Infact what they should say is ( If you want to be Riped off than join today! ) How can any site advertise a personals website and say it is free unless it is truly free. I for one will not pay for a website's services, I will not sign up to a web site if it says what type of credit card do you have. Most dating sites use alot of false advertising perks just to get people to read the web page.

you know the very person that any one pushes away could be the right person for you. The right person could be a best friend, could be anyone you know or maybe some one you have yet to meet....... some times when it turns out to be some one you know, at the time when you were searching for mr right or mrs right they may have been standing there the whole time but you did not notice because at that time you did not see it... well just my opinnion really. What do I know lol, I thought it sounded good.

One thing you should never say to a woman is............. Really you have a child and laugh and say she has no life and she ruined it , guys good way to get hung by your nads. Never tell a woman that her sister is goodlooking, never say you would do her mom if she was 10 years younger never boss a woman around best thing to do is meet half way in any situation and both people listen to eachother. saves the arguements.
