Something that I cannot tolerate!
Posted: 11/24/2009 3:01:34 PM
Old people!!!

I get so annoyed with getting shoved out the way by old people because they think they have a god given right to do so. I often hold doors open for those less able, and give them right of way, do I get a word of thanks?? No! It's rude and ignorant to not even say thank you for a kind gesture.
Was waiting for the bus the other week and this old woman shoved me out the way so she could get on first. I probably would have let her get on first anyway as I make sure theres people who are less abled than me getting on the bus first to guarantee them a seat. I was riled up purely because I'm pregnant and if her elbow had gone anywhere else other than my arm, I would have kicked off mega style.
I get annoyed that old people seem to label all young folk into the yob category, but I'm not a yob and I give respect to those people who give respect to me.
Don't give a monkeys if you're old, young, tall, short etc, you get treated the way you treat me. Theres just no excuse for rudeness.

I cannot get internet guy out of my head, I never met him.
Posted: 11/22/2009 2:16:55 PM
The main thing you need to remember is, what did you gain from contacting him on Email addresses, ABC through to Z.
Did you get the happy ever after you were looking for? No, you didn't. So what does this prove to you? That messaging someone who has already said to you they aren't interested in you doesn't work and not accepting a rejection with grace and dignity doesn't work. It makes you look extremely desperate and very stupid.

Maybe there are insecurities that lie deep within and that because you want the relationship with someone where you say "I Love You" after 3 messages and this didn't happen, you wanted to fight for something that wasn't there. You are not alone with this in the "dating site world". Many people each day get rejection emails from someone, but the only thing you can do is move on. He/she obviously wasn't the one for you.

Wanting to talk to someone isn't a crime, however, stalking kind of is because you are being very intrusive and it goes beyond flattery that someone has paid an interest and can get very scary because you're wondering how they know all that they know. For eg. How the hell did you manage to get every single email address he had and manage to locate him?

How do you get past this? I hope this does not sound patronizing, but I think you need to sort out the issue with your self esteem. I have a strong belief that you have been hurt in the past and have had numerous struggles and it's dented you and therefore you have lost your way big time when it comes to relationships. You need to learn self restraint and understand that when someone says no, they mean it.

Also you need to think about if you do build up a friendship with someone, you need to think about walking before running, because I do believe that if someone does take a liking to you, they'll run the other way if you get too serious too soon.
You're not a bad person, you're human and you have needs and want to be loved and wanted and that's not a terrible thing, we all want the same, but what is terrible is that you overwhelm and push yourself on someone who said they weren't interested and possibly scared him a little. It does happen. Just have a little think about your actions towards others because what you may see as harmless can have consequences that aren't so good.

Also, console yourself with this.....you didn't know him well enough to know if you'd even got together whether he'd have been good to you anyway. But MOVE ON!!! You need to. Dwelling on someone you've never met is not good for you.

Anyway, hope I've not been too harsh and hope you manage to get through this.

X factor 2009
Posted: 11/17/2009 3:47:48 PM

To be honest I do look forward to seeing what they are doing, it is entertainment.
But Louie has often said they are looking for someone who can sell millions of albums. So if I'm honest they should not be there, I can't honestly believe you would prefer the twins over the others, in respect of recordings.

I kind of feel perplexed about why I prefer them to the others myself lol, but I think the main thing is that they all...and this does include the twins, sing songs by other people and I don't feel they are done justice half the time. For eg. Danyl singing Purple Rain in rock week. He wrecked it for me. A classic song and it got wrecked. Another thing that gets my goat, is the warbling in all the songs, a trend set by Mariah Carey and other singers. Leona Lewis has followed suit. A song that was originally a classic then gets murdered by someone trying to make it their own and warbling in a totally cringeworthy fashion. It puts me right off.
I tend to like the contestants more when they release their "own" stuff because it's never been heard before so you don't have to worry about a song you know and love being totally crucified.
I guess I just like the twins because they don't warble lol! They have rapped for the past 3 weeks really.
Oh and I can't believe that despite watching on Saturday that I missed their song being sabotaged by Calvin Harris. Where was I? lol!

I hope the twins win.

As well as it being a talent contest, you want to be entertained and I'm sorry, I don't feel entertained by the other contestants when they sing. I actually do feel entertained even if for the wrong reasons by the twins.
Maybe they should have auditioned for Britains Got Talent instead, maybe then there'd be less of a backlash than there is towards them now.

What Happened To Freedom Of Speech?
Posted: 10/19/2009 2:23:32 AM
I'm getting slightly hacked off that every time I write a response to a thread, it gets taken off.
Is there some kind of vendetta against me that my input get's taken away??
As long as I'm not being offensive, which I really feel I'm not, then what is the big problem?
I try to write in a way that will not provoke a negative reaction and on more than one occasion I've come back to read the threads that I've replied to and noticed that my comments have gone.
What is the point of having a forum to express yourself if you're just going to end up being silenced? I'm sick to the back teeth of it so therefore see no point in even bothering to contribute anymore. I'm obviously not allowed to say anything without it getting taken away and making me feel irrelevant to any conversation so I shall take my freedom of speech elsewhere.
The most annoying thing is, if the moderators could be polite enough to tell me why my comments keep getting deleted then I might know where the hell I'm going wrong and be able to rectify it. Grrrrrrrrrrr!! Not happy.

Is anyone else having this problem?
So yeah, whatever did happen to freedom of speech?

Its a Vagina and Penis, not a Flower and Winky.
Posted: 10/18/2009 2:03:12 PM
When all is said and done, they will find out eventually that a dinkle is a penis and a flower is a womans vagina. Say it how it is and some people may find that a lot more children gain proper knowledge about how their bodies work and maybe a little less naivety.
The human body is nothing to be ashamed of and body parts are named so for whatever reason they've been named.
My child will know the correct terms and I will not feel embarassed if they say penis or vagina out loud, I'll actually feel proud they know the correct word.
Each to their own with what they say to their kids but I think my preference will be to be upfront with them. What's the point in creating a "rude-proof" name for a body part when it'll come out eventually?

Things You Hate But Can't Ignore !!
Posted: 10/17/2009 10:19:14 AM
People who feel the need to play their crap music full blast from their phones whilst on a bus or train.
99.9% of the time the music is absolutely diabolical and I don't really need to hear songs that contain the lyrics. "And I bust a cap in yo ass".

People that spit and make that hacking phlegmy noise. Whilst I understand there maybe something unpleasant in your gob, I'd rather not be only a few steps behind you and run the risk of stepping in your phlegm ball that you've just hocked up. Plus the noise makes me feel sick.

People that cough or sneeze and don't cover their mouths. Have a bit of respect and hygiene and cover your damn face. I don't want your germs!

Old people. I find most old people so rude and ignorant. The amount of times I've been shoved out the way by some old biddy, or had a door near enough left to slam in my face when walking in or out of a shop. It annoys me even more now I'm pregnant. If one more old biddy shoves me out the way, I will go Incredible Hulk on them!

Soooo as you can see, not much grates on my nerves! haha!

London Underground and Bus Prices To Increase
Posted: 10/16/2009 10:50:29 AM

I dont live in london, but o the occasions i have been there i have found the public transport there to be unbelieveably cheap (for busses anyway) Here in newcastle getting a bus is way more expensive. So an increase in the price of your system there in my eyes is justified

OMG really?? I wasn't aware of that. How much is it to travel where you are? That's actually quite shocking. Learn something new each day I guess lol.

London Underground and Bus Prices To Increase
Posted: 10/16/2009 9:13:09 AM
I find visiting somewhere and living somewhere slightly different really IMO.

Most of you have said when you have visited you found the services fine, however, visiting for a couple of days and living here and needing to use the services on a daily basis to commute to work is a different matter altogether, especially when they go on strike half the time, it's hard to see the good service we apparently seem to have. It's more of an inconvenience.
For example, the strikes in the summer which left quite a few londoners unable to actually get to work due to absolutely crazyness with trying to commute on a bus was just insane.
It's not just the people who have to work, some people travel by train to get to school or appointments. I, as I can't drive yet, am reliant on public transport and it just infuriates me that money is tight enough as it is and spending even more money on Travel expenses which I don't feel they need to increase just downright annoys me.
That extra say...50p, could go towards food, or towards a bill that needs paying seeing as they too are going to be increased. Working 5 days a week, that takes out £2.50, over 4 weeks, thats an extra £10. It all adds up.
I don't expect to live for free, but I do expect to live realistically and pay realistic prices, especially in this financial climate and Boris Johnson, IMO has made a very poor choice.
Funny how he has enough time to make an unneeded appearance on Eastenders but when it comes to making beneficial choices for us who reside in London, we seem to just be ripped off even more.
Are we ungrateful? Possibly.

London Underground and Bus Prices To Increase
Posted: 10/16/2009 5:39:07 AM
I found out yesterday that in the New Year, yet again if £2 per bus journey without an Oyster card wasn't expensive enough, Boris Johnson has announced the the prices will be going UP yet again not just for the bus service but also for the London Underground.

How much more they are going up by I do not know but I find it thoroughly ridiculous especially with our current financial climate that the prices are going up.
If you don't have an Oyster Card, you're paying £2 per bus journey and the prices to use the underground are extortionate too.
So even with the Oyster Card, in the New Year you're still going to be practically paying the same as you'd pay now without one.

I'm so annoyed that what we're paying to use the services isn't enough and just seems to me to be pure greed. The price to get on the bus was 70p before, then went up to £1, then £1.50 and now £2. My guess is it's going to be £2.50 to get on a bus which in my eyes isn't worth it. It isn't even worth £2 if I'm being honest.

The London Underground are forever going on strike too and I just feel that the public transport in London is a complete letdown.
Soon, it's going to be cheaper to get into a nightclub than to get a bus or train.

What frustrates me more is that Boris Johnson claims that "this was a very difficult decision to make". Uh huh, course it was. Not as difficult as it's going to be for those that don't have the luxury to get chauffered around all day.

Do you think increasing the prices to use the buses and underground is a good idea?
Do you think Boris should have waited to make this decision until we were back on our feet again, so to speak?
What are your views on public transport?
Would you be willing to pay out more money or will you find alternative ways to travel??

There is nothing more offputting than a guy with an a$$ like Peter Stringfellow thinking he can parade around in a thong!! Never found Thongs on men attractive, nor Y fronts lol!
Now...Boxers?? Humina Humina!!

I buy underwear every few weeks as the underwear goblins seem to steal mine. and I swear the washing machine eats them too.

Not good, ahh well, I don't mind really, I love any excuse to shop for clothes.

facebook whats the deal?
Posted: 9/9/2009 7:41:04 AM
When all is said and done, facebook is a networking site and it's all for fun.
I have people on my friends list who I went to school with who I didn't really get on well with at school, but the way I see it, is that we were kids and I don't see the point in holding grudges. We're all adults now, some are married with kids and for the most part, we're a lot more mature. I deleted one girl from my facebook after she obviously hadn't left her playground ways in the playground. It was simple, I just deleted her.

Sometimes, people like to just let people know about what's going on in their lives and I don't see anything wrong with that. The only thing that annoys me is when someone changes their status about 10 times an hour. That's frustrating but for the most part, I like reading peoples status's, it lets me know how they are doing.

I think you should enjoy facebook for what it is, just a bit of fun! There are settings in which you can control what you see, so it's not as if you can't change it.

For most, it's a great way of keeping in touch with friends and family all over the world!

Posted: 8/31/2009 11:07:24 AM
I only want Lisa to win cos I've got £4 on her at a price of 33/1.

After the past couple of years, the faves haven't one and especially after last year with Rachel winning it, I've decided to back Lisa.

I don't really think any of them are worthy winners in my eyes. Don't get me wrong, they've all done great to get this far, but none of them were my faves to begin with so I'm really uncaring as to who wins this week.

Blimey Hams, I don't know my football that much to predict answers to all the above questions but I know that I'd love Arsenal to win the whole thing next year. It'd be cool!

Ok, I'll do the first one!
Top 4
1. I'd like Arsenal but somehow think it's going to be Chelsea (grrrrrrr lol)
2.Man Utd
3. Liverpoooooool
4. Arsenal

Anyway, ignore Mr Misery Guts up there who decided to be rude, I enjoy your topics even if I'm not 100% sure what they are about sometimes, so ignore him.

Big Brother 10.....2009.......

I would like Lisa to go, she's a bloomin' idiot and she just grates on me that just because she's 41, she thinks she's Lord and Master of the house. She says she doesn't like being shouted at, yet she don't mind flapping her gums at other people. It's highly unlikely she'll go but it'd be nice if she did.
Hira is so dumb that it's sweet. Anyone would have thought to totally break apart that cake but not her lol! Big Brother just seemed to be slightly exasperated that she'd been there for 5 hours and was still face deep in cake and hadn't used her nous to rip apart the cake. I'd have totally headbanged it
I love Marcus, I'm strangely attracted to him, even though he eats his toenails and stuff like that, but I have the hots for him! Maybe I've been watching Big Brother too long and stayed cooped up in my house. I'm off now to dream about yanking on his hair.

Your Birthday And What It Means For You
Posted: 8/6/2009 3:20:29 PM
It's my birthday on Sunday and I was having a think about how my views on my birthday have changed as I've gotten older, which I'm sure is the case for most people.

For me, when I was younger, it was all about the present's and making my list for my top 10 presents.

Now, it's less about the presents and more about just going out and having a good old knee's up and being with friends and family.

I find that I still get a bit excited that it's my birthday and start the birthday countdown about 6 weeks before
Do you still get excited about your birthday or do you just see it as another day in the year?

What about event's on your birthday,do you do anything special or just plod along as normal?

This year, I'm having drinks on Saturday with friends and spending my actual birthday with family. Perfect for me this year.

Sorry for the late reply, on behalf of John and myself, we both thank you for a wonderful evening out. The venue was fantastic, yourself and Hams were excellent DJ's (well you had me and others up on the dancefloor lol) and it was just a nice place to be.
So well done and hopefully we'll make it to your next one in September.

one night stands and pregnancy
Posted: 8/4/2009 10:48:21 AM

Well I think it's the women's fault, i mean there's a pill i believe isn't there? mind you if you can get one to shut up talking long enough to take one course

What a completely offensive and obnoxious reply.

I think the contraception is down to both parties. If neither take the initiative to use the contraception offered then no one is to blame but BOTH of the people concerned.

Me personally, I've always been anti abortion, that's just me. For women who have abortions, there are many different reasons as to why this might be, my personal preference though, even if I had a one night stand and fell pregnant, would be to keep the baby.

In last nights episode, in the Kitchen, Bea said to Noirin,
"So what about Siavash?" Noirins reply?? "Oh well...Sorry Siavash" What a grade A effing biatch!!! I'm fuming at her and she had better be out tonight.
She kissed Siavash in the morning and was perfectly happy and then she switches when Isaac comes in and starts kissing him.

Ninepack, either keep to the topic at hand and discuss Big Brother's (lack of) entertainment value or clear off!
I'm fed up of coming onto this thread and reading yet another political debate over race and everything else in between.
It's rather tedious and so annoying. Fine, you have an opinion but can you keep it out of this thread please? You made your point in what....page 1????? No need to keep drawing it out.

Anyway back to the topic, I want Noirin out. She's a div, end of! lol! I don't approve of her games she plays with peoples feelings. It's infuriating. And I say that regardless of gender. I don't approve of anyone being so disrespectful towards others like that.

OMG, Noirin and Siavash snogged!!

I was watching it last night because there was nothing else to watch and I tuned in to see them snogging.
Marcus had been punished by big brother by having to stay in a jail they'd made for him in the garden.
Apparently, Noirin and Siavash have feelings for each other. Hmmm, I think it's all FAKE FAKE FAKE.
Noirin knows Siavash has no problems with showing her for who she is and Siavash knows Noirin is happy enough to land him in it with everyone else, so for me, this is a case of friends close, enemies closer. I am not buying into it whatsoever.
I was thinking Siavash could be a likely winner, but now I think this is likely to ruin it all for him.
I'd like to see Bea win, she seem's so nice.
Rodrigo just needs a slap or a muzzle. His constant complaining about respect is p'ing me off. Respect?? Hmm, coming from the guy who poured Oil all over someone else's bed and photo's of his family. Hmmm.

Teenage bereavement.
Posted: 7/21/2009 9:40:26 AM
I am in a similar situation to you SJ, only it's my cousin. She found happiness with her boyfriend and 2 weeks after they found out she was pregnant, he died due to a heart related problem. He'd gone into hospital with what seemed like a chest infection, then for some reason, his heart gave up. He'd had a heart op a couple of years back but it was a total shock and completely unexpected.
I went to visit my Aunt, Uncle and cousin over the weekend and I found it incredibly difficult, not knowing what to say and not knowing how to comfort her because, what can you say really? However, she seemed to enjoy showing me the memento's of their time spent together before he died and showed me lots of pictures and told me how she planned on letting their unborn baby (due in December) know all about it's dad.
I accidentally upset her by bringing up a topic of conversation about Michael Jackson and asking what people thought and it upset her a great deal as death, regardless of famous or not is still pretty raw, but I just didn't think and felt really terrible.
The main thing I did was let her talk to me when she felt like it and she chose to show me pics and stuff, I didn't press her to tell me anymore than she wanted to. Although she's 25, it would still apply I guess no matter the age.
I'm sure your daughter is going to be in bits for a while but slowly in her own time, she will start to remember the great times more than anything. My cousin is proof of that. It's just certain things that people need to be wary of, so being sensitive is of the utmost importance. I learnt that over the weekend.
How are you coping anyway SJ? xxx

How do you tell someone they smell?
Posted: 7/17/2009 4:18:01 AM
What you could do is just write up a letter to each employee, generalising it, rather than going for the one person who is at fault and just use this hot weather as an excuse. Or even a staff meeting?
Say it's hot, they are working hard and you'd appreciate employee's carrying round some deodorant and spritzing some on in their breaks just to keep themselves fresh. Provide some baby wipes so people can wipe their pits and face.
Get into the habit of doing it yourself so others will follow and maybe the problem will sort itself out. Just an idea. Maybe impractical but just an idea that came at the top of my head. Maybe he'll smell less if you do that.

Best on screen death......
Posted: 7/16/2009 4:02:41 PM
The Green Mile - Pretty much all the death's especially the dodgy execution and John Coffey. Omg weepy alert!

The Notebook - All I'm going to say is Awwwww

Casino Royale - The Biatch deserved it!

PS. I Love You - Although you don't see it, it's the effects and aftermath of dealing with it and the total romantic gestures that come up in the film.

Last House On The Left (2009) - Absolutely fantastic ending to the film, never thought I'd see a death so funny!

Harry Potter OOTP & THBP - Wont spoil it, but oh so sad!

Marley & Me - Cried buckets!

That's all for now lol!

Learner drivers on Motorways.
Posted: 7/8/2009 11:44:06 AM

They are on pass plus, or you can ask your instructor to take you out once you've passed to show you the ropes. The motorway itself is pretty easy; it's the jumble of entry/exit lanes/roundabouts/traffic lights/signs that's hard (for a new driver) to negotiate.

Thanks Robinson, I'll look up some more info on pass plus. My friend just said that you can get cheaper-ish car insurance too if you take pass plus lessons. Where has my head been buried?? Oh well, you learn something new every day I guess.

Learner drivers on Motorways.

How else is a driver supposed to learn how to drive on a motorway without being taught???

I'd prefer Motorway lessons to be on my driving lesson curriculum if I'm honest as I'm slightly apprehensive about it.

"Romance"

People have forever been saying "Romance is dead". Well now seem's like it is finally dead and gone as the most "romantic" a guy has been with me is standing scratching his nuts and handing me a bunch of flowers he's robbed from someones garden, whilst drooling and making some odd noise that makes me feel he's either Beavis or Buttheads son.

Would you be happy to stand up during a flight?
Posted: 7/6/2009 10:38:54 AM

Would you be happy to stand up if it meant paying less for your flight?

No I bloody well wouldn't. Travelling is such a tedious thing in itself, what with really weird check in times and such lark, you have to stand in a big long queue whilst the staff go at snails pace checking everyone in, then you have to sit for hours on end waiting for your flight to be called so you can go through security checks or whatever and by the end of it, you look forward to being able to sit in a seat which isn't overly comfortable as it is but it does considering the hours of discomfort you've already had to endure. If I'm paying for a ticket on a flight, I want a nice comfy seat.

Or are you only prepared to fly if you have a seat even if there not comfortable

I think I answered this question above lol

Do you think this is a good or bad idea?

As are all of Ryan Air's suggestions, it's another poop suggestion which is NOT going to win their Airline any favours. I mean, what happens if the plane needs to make an emergency landing? The people who are standing aren't well protected in case of such an event. So no, it's not a good idea.

What ever will they think of next?

Passengers flying below with the luggage probably, or even sticking the luggage up top and passengers underneath.

Big Brother 10.....2009.......
Posted: 7/3/2009 3:25:15 PM
I am really glad Sree left, he got right on my wick. Freddy is bang on about saying he involves everyone when the person has gone and he starts talking about it and asking questions to other people about it.
Notice how Sree gets extra gobby when the person he is arguing with has walked away and isn't in ear shot?

I applaud Marcus for standing up for himself and making an excellent point with regards to Big Brothers obvious accusation of Racism. I mean come on, Karly is Scottish, Freddie is English and some of the others have different British accents, but they constantly imitate each other. Does Big Bro call any of them in??? The thing is though, they went through so much crap when Celeb Big Bro was on and the PC brigade went nuts over it, so they obviously felt they had to bring it up.
Funny how Marcus's warning had nothing at all to do with what they were originally going to warn him for. They went away, at Big Bro's admission and had a serious think, a serious think about what else they could possibly pin on Marcus. I don't think he threatened Sree at all. I think he merely made a point of saying to him, "Be gobby here by all means, see if you're brave on the outside" He was also sat down doing his weights, he wasn't squaring up to Sree, so there's a big difference. If Big Brother noticed, Sree was the one who walked up to Marcus.

And for the past few nights, all I've been hearing in my sleep is "Personally me......change your attitude.....I'm the president at my university.....blah blah" Who cares?!?!?!

Elvis has now left the building! Thank God for that!

Two police dogs die in locked police car.

I think there is a big difference between being forgetful and just plain stupid.
Forgetful is not knowing where you put your keys or something, plain stupid is not even leaving a bowl of water and a window open a bit so the dogs could breathe and remain hydrated.
It's tragic that this has happened to the two animals. Poor loves!

TESTIMONIALS,what a crock of well im to polite, lol
Posted: 6/30/2009 5:47:44 PM
I've got a few testimonials on my profile and I've also added a testimonial to other peoples profiles.

I think testimonials are a good way of letting people know that people have taken the time to get to know you and view you as a good person and can give their own personal opinion of how you are as a person.
Not necessarily as a partner, but as a friend too.

The same reason as to why I add testimonials to other peoples profiles, because they deserve to speak to people who are genuinely interested in getting to know others, without having some kind of hidden agenda.

All the testimonials on my profile have been written by people I've met, so it's not been a case of I spoke to them for half hour and that was that. I've formed friendships with these people, so I'm not ashamed of my testimonials.

It's up to the person reading if they wish to contact me to find out if I'm like what other people say.

Monogamy - your views
Posted: 6/30/2009 8:58:28 AM
I would love an invite to your weddings! Am I right in thinking you may be one for polygamy? Hehe!
Kidding.

Some people, like myself are perfectly happy being monogamous. When I'm with the one person, I'm with them. That's how I am though.

Harry Potter
Posted: 6/30/2009 6:45:58 AM
I've started to see the trailer for the newest Harry Potter film and I have to say I am extremely excited that in just over 2 weeks, it will be back on the big screen.

Is anyone a big Harry Potter fan?
Do you prefer the books to the film?
Do your kids love Harry Potter just as much as you?

I love Harry Potter myself, I am very into films that contain magic and J.K Rowling certainly deserves all the millions she's made from the Harry Potter novels and films.

On a side note....I find Helena Bonham Carter, whilst playing Bellatrix Lestrange, she looks remarkably like Amy Winehouse.

Film of the year?? What do you all think??

Who's The Mommy
Posted: 6/29/2009 6:10:27 PM
To us, it doesn't matter a fig who is the mother of Michaels 3rd child is. How is it going to affect us?? The only reason people even care isn't out of genuine interest, it's for the entertainment value and to me, it doesn't sit well.

As long as the mother of Blanket knows who she is and is willing to make an effort to be part of her sons life and make herself known to HIM, then that's all that matters.
Why does it matter to us who his mother is?? It's traumatic enough for all three kids knowing they've lost their father without the rest of the world now placing odds on who Blankets mum is.

I think certain boundaries get crossed when it comes to famous people and for me personally, having a giggle at a poor childs parentage, whether it's to do with his father being dead or one of his aunt's supposedly (at their suggestion, joke or not) being his mum, I think a bit of respect for the children at the very least is in order. They now have the opportunity to have the childhood Michael didn't have, although I doubt it'll happen that way. But hopefully having learnt the lessons and implications of thrusting young children into the limelight at such a young age, as the Jacksons found out, especially Michael, I'm hoping that especially in this day and age, the Jackson family will think twice about exposing his children to the media in the future, etc. Maybe they'll get to live a quiet private life and have a childhood and grow up to be well adjusted. I think that's what Michael would want for his kids so maybe his death wouldn't have been in vain. (sp?)

The Man and His Music
Posted: 6/27/2009 8:17:43 AM

Apologies to all the MJ haters here, but I really thought it would be nice to remember the man that made the songs of more than one generation.

In my view, you shouldn't be apologising for liking someones music. So I think you should retract your apology Wafta for you have absolutely no need to be sorry.

I wasn't the biggest MJ fan but my views are my views, everyone else's views are everyone elses, but I sure as hell don't think theres any need for any apologising. Unless it gets personal then thats different lol.

Anyways back to the topic, I liked his songs "Beat It" and "The Way You Make Me Feel" just because they make me want to boogie lol!

Was rather two faced of Noirin to nominate the fella who saved her from wearing those ridiculous moustache and glasses. I'm not saying she should be forever in his debt but she moaned her ass off for ages saying she hated it and he helped her out.

Cowwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

Anyway methinks Marcus and Sree will be up this week.

The Child Snatcher has been evicted and took as long coming out of the house as she did going in!

I personally am glad Halfwit survived for another week. Angel was just becoming too cringeworthy to watch.

Michael Jackson Has Died?
Posted: 6/26/2009 6:32:46 AM
No matter what my personal opinions are of Michael, he's gone and that's it.

He was 50 years old and what I'm thinking about is that my dad is 51, my mum 49 and it makes you realise that anything can happen at any given time so making the most of what you have before it's gone just as suddenly as it came about is important.

I wasn't a big fan of Michael Jackson and all that but I do understand, other people were, so it's more out of respect for those GENUINE fans of his than him himself, that I'll keep quiet and stuff. I do wish however people would stop brown nosing, especially those who couldn't have cared less about him during his trial. It's these same people who were quite happy to slate him during his trial that are going so OTT now he's died acting as though they were close friends with him or something.

I personally am more saddened at Farrah Fawcetts passing, simply because she suffered for a long time, the only consolation for Michael is that his death was quick and over and done with. Of course, no matter the circumstances, both deaths are sad for both families.

RIP Michael and Farrah
