Hi don't know if i am old soul i sure feel like one . Walk with me for a while See my life through eyes of child Hardened by the things i've seen Some not pleasant by any means Ten years old i had to go Down to the grocery store Pick up five seperate cigarettes Put on slate, not paid yet Mum and dad were killing machines If the scientists are to be believed In their armchairs in- haling in All the poison oh what sin Us kids choking from the fumes Blamed it on the car exhumes Coal fire spewing soot Breathed it into our tender gut Chest infections common place Family doctor marked our days Told so many times to quit Still in their armchairs they did sit with another cigarette Lost dad to lung cancer at the age of 60 Diva ...

I feel for you soldier and your family too, i had a husband just like you, he saw so much horror and pain , friends died in front of him. War is ugly and so pointless but so many victims. My husband died from the after effects , he was disabled and told me every day about what he had seen and his mental state was bad . Its so hard to watch a man cry never mind someone you love...so soldier take care and know lots of ppl think you are heroes .. hope you are home with your family soon . Diva
