well, the 'real men' thing might be because they are tired of having to buy batteries? I have heard from alot of my lady friends that they have more fun with them..lol shrugs I dunno Everyone needs a break every now and then, from work, stress, just a few hours to get away from it. So if they think you're a bad parent from wanting to do so, well wake up and smell the burnt toast, everyone is entitiled to a little freedom now and again. If it was a everynight partying and getting drunk, and buying booze instead of taking care of the kids, then yeah, that may label a person to be a bad parent, but you don't fall under that catagory Lady G :D hugs

To be honnest I always thought age wouldn't matter, but when I look at it, yeah I guess it does for me. For me I need someone who has the same mindset and knows about things that are going on. So I try to stick with people that are around my age. Hanging out and being with someone who is much older is fine, but having a serious relationship and anything along those lines, they need to be a few years within either way. shrugs I dunno.. Am I wrong for thinking this way?

yeah I agree with few word intro's, I hate those too.. Another one I don't like is when you start talking to someone and they stop responding. That's happened to me..oh well. If people are that interested, they message mesits and waits for messages lol

Parties actually use to be in st john as well and possibly other places. The prob is, no one is hosting them anymore. The parties use to rotate between moncton, freddy and st john every party. Years ago when I first joined, the parties had 100's in attendance, now a days the parties are few and far between with 50 or less that show. It's a different crowd now and things just kinda went away. As for other types of parties, some people don't feel comfortable getting their children involved. It's more of a privacy matter and some people don't feel comfortable. It's true, other venues would be nice, but as was mentioned, they'd need people to host them. Throw around some ideas, and who knows, you might get something up and running :D

One thing you could do, create an msn account just for that specific purpose. That way you can put just basic info in and not all the privacy is gone. With msn as well you have the option to show weither or not you have a cam. It's true there are some guys out there that do want visual aids, but not always. They just need to hold on their horses if they want the person's msn that bad. shrugs I like candy?

just checked out your profile for ya.. You covered the basics. There are alot of people that use this site, most for good some for the worst. It may take some time but I'm sure you'll meet someone :D Be patient and at least have fun meeting new people in the meantime .

I have yet to see it, but some people were saying that if you're a true hardcore fan, then you wouldn't like the movie. Well, I'm not a hardcore fan, and it looks pretty good! I might wait till it comes out to watch it, none the less I'll eventually fall into the dark side..lol

indeed! This is a good place to meet new people and make some new friends. I've been on here for longer then I care say, and I've met alot of very nice and interesting people. The parties are usually a great place to meet some of them or even at the coffee meets as well :D I'm sure you'll meet some people on here.. good luck :D Matty

well doesn't cost anything really, unless you want to drink, and for the shyness, alot of ppl are in the same boat. I was really shy my first one and only stayed like a half hour. The next one was a blast. That's what the socialites are for, most of us will be dressed up, hell I went as far as changing my appearence for my costume..lol Yes, the transformation starts right now..lol Getting ready to put my costume on and heading on over for close to 9.. So put on your dancing shoes! If anything act as if you're going to a normal bar and happen to meet new people. If you don't feel comfortable dressing up, then don't just come laugh at us :D It's a good time :D

hmm, snow candy comes to mind.. I remember 1 year a few buddies and myself decided to make snow candy on his roof. Vanilla, brown sugar and pancake syrop in the microwave for 1 min. It turned out alright, but kinda tasted like shingles overall it was fun, but if you have your tongue pierced and try to eat snow candy.. good luck with that..lol

I have to agree with lady there, cafe cognito is a really nice spot. I love their Italian soda! Zen Garden is a nice little place too, a small vegatarian asain restaurant with relaxing music and over 60 kinds of tea!

Hmm.. can't say I share the same pleasure of having snow as most, only because my two feet are my modes of transportation..lol. I did enjoy having the day off though! I decided to venture out around 7pm and head over to wise guyz for some karaoke. Nothing better then belting out some toons to hopefully melt away that 4 letter "s" word I dread so much.. Snow!
