Why so many poeple claim that EXes and crazy or bad?
Posted:
1/20/2008 8:09:18 AM
Yes, I can agree that it takes two to make it, but it does NOT take two to break it. I've never had a problem admitting when I'm wrong, and I have been wrong before and probably will be again. Im very responsible and even have a good sense of humor, I can laugh at alot but sometimes one gets comfortable and takes great advantage of the other. They can justify all they want but the usual end result is divorce. Ive said before in the forum that my ex was the biggest lier on planet earth...still is ( and lazy). He had some good qualities, but not nearly enough to over shadow the hurt and confusion he always created. I dont want to be his friend or any part of his life. Lieing breaks down trust and with out trust what do u have? Nothing...except a crazy ex

Holiday Baking

This was in my email...
A little background:
Nieman-Marcus, if you don't know already, is a very expensive store; i.e., they sell your typical $8.00 T-shirt for $50.00. Let's let them have it! THIS IS A TRUE STORY!
My daughter and I had just finished a salad at a Nieman-Marcus Café in Dallas , and we decided to have a small dessert. Because both of us are such cookie lovers, we decided to try the 'Nieman-Marcus cookie.' It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe, and the waitress said with a small frown, 'I'm afraid not, but you can buy the recipe.' Well, I asked how much, and she responded, 'Only two fifty -it's a great deal!' I agreed to that, and told her to just add it to my tab. Thirty days later, I received my VISA statement, and the Nieman-Marcus charge was $285.00! I looked again, and I remembered I had only spent $9.95 for two salads and about $20.00 for a scarf. As I glanced at the bottom of the statement, it said, 'Cookie Recipe-$250.00.' That was outrageous!
I called Nieman's Accounting Department and told them the waitress said it was 'two fifty', which clearly does not mean 'two hundred and fifty
dollars' by any reasonable interpretation of the phrase. Nieman-Marcus refused to budge. They would not refund my money because, according to them, 'What the waitress told you is not our problem. You have already seen the recipe. We absolutely will not refund your money at this point.' I
explained to the Accounting Department lady the criminal statutes which govern fraud in the state of Texas . I threatened to report them to the Better
Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's office for engaging in fraud. I was basically told, 'Do what you want. Don't bother thinking of how
you can get even, and don't bother trying to get any of your money back.' I just said, Okay, you folks got my $250, and now I'm going to have $250
worth of fun.' I told her that I was going to see to it that every cookie lover in the United States with an e-mail account has a $250 cookie recipe from Nieman-Marcus...for free. She replied, 'I wish you wouldn't do this.' I said, 'Well, perhaps you should have thought of that before you ripped me off!' and slammed down the phone. So here it is!
Please, please, please pass it on to everyone you can possibly think of. I paid $250 for this, and I don't want Nieman-Marcus to EVER make another penny off of this recipe!
NIEMAN-MARCUS COOKIES (Recipe may be halved)
2 cups butter
24 oz. chocolate chips
4 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated)
5 cups blended oatmeal
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.
PLEASE READ THE RECIPE AND SEND IT TO EVERY PERSON YOU KNOW WHO HAS AN E-MAIL ADDRESS! THIS IS REALLY TERRIFIC!!
Even if the people on your e-mail list don't eat sweets send it to them and ask them to pass it on. Let's make sure we get these ladies $250.00 worth. Enjoy the cookies, they really are good.

Hold up chappy, the jury is not in yet. I say u come to USA and get a hair transplant. They take the hair in back and transplant it, its relatively painless and doesnt take so long and u CAN NOT tell its replacement. Its not fake, it grows , its ur own hair and it wont go bald again. You just have to pay for it once...then its there the rest of ur life, what a deal. You are 44 and a nice looking man, why not explore all your options?

I have read that if u have had a good marriage u will want to remarry, same rule for widowed. I dont know how true that is. If I thought all was as should be, I probably would marry again...but the "as should be's" is like the needle in the hay stack.

U need to apoligize...and u other children...go to ur room till I say come out. (just the offensive ones)
So anyone have any good, low cal, nutrisious recipes? I lost 190 pounds of ugly fat (got a divorce) but I need to lose more.

My fav meal was the navy beans and cornbread. The beans tasted like bacon and the corn bread was baked to perfection. I also liked the butter sandwiches which were served with every meal except the navy bean meal. They were steamed and so soft and delish. They used real butter then...prehistoric times.

Hey Roxanne, u can use a cake decorating tip and bag to fill the puffs. Use the tip u write with and ....roll wax paper if u dont have an icing bag. Just tear a square of paper, rip half way thru one side and twist, like making a cone. Cut the tip off the wax paper and insert ur icing tip. Add what ever u want to put in puffs. Works great unless filling isnt smooth.

Sausage Green Beans
Posted:

Here is one of my "down home" recipes:
4 cans of green beans
1 pound echrich (polish type) saus.
4 med. potatoes.
I use a pound of saus. for 4 cans of greenbeans. Empty one can of beans in the cooker first, add saug cut in 3" lengths or whatever size u like. Add Potatoes cut in hunks, then add remaining beans. If using 4 cans of beans, empty the water from 2 cans. Cook on mediun uncovered till potatoes r done. Serve with cornbread, tomatoes wedges, cucumber spears and green onions.

Can a Single Women Want A Man Who Fears God and not be Judge because she does?

Well...allow me to clear up the "fear factor". When King James had the Bible translated to English, they used the word fear where respect should have been. God doesnt want to be feared but revered and respected. And to the lady asking the question here....if ur a Christian, u know what ur to do. Dont worry about anyone else...just pray for them.

Secret Ingrediants?
Posted:
10/18/2007 10:55:41 PM
Hi, Im a little late with this imfo but can settle the dispute here on sugar and heart burn. Im a holistic expert ( alternative medicine) and its a fact that heartburn is caused when u dont have enough acid in ur stomach. If u dont believe this, next time u get heartburn, drink a couple of table spoons of apple cider vineager and I bet u the heartburn will go away quickly. So yes sugar is an acid and thats why u didnt get heart burn anymore Fistsandcuffs, when u added it to ur moms sauce.
Sugar being an acid is why cancer patients cant eat anything sugar (on the holistic diet) . Cancer thrives on sugar or acid. It can not live in an acid free (alkaline) body.

Once, around halloween, my friend and I went to the grocery store. As we came inside the store there was a coffin. real one, sitting there, lid down and spider webs all around it. My friend, Sue, said, wonder whats in that? I replied...dont know, dontcare. Lets go look she says. Lets dont and say we did says I. Well, miss nosey had to go look. I stood back and waited for her. She opened the lid a bit, looking around to see if anyone was watching her. I thought maybe an alarm or something would go off to scare her, but oh no! Werewolf slamed that lid up, she screamed a blood curdling scream that was heard all over that store, he jumped out of the coffin, she began to run and he chased her all over that store. I laughed so hard. Ok, we werent kids but it was so much fun. Ive long since lost my Suz-Qz, so I share that in her memory. Gone but not forgotten.
