How come the same line of guys is at the top of forums page everyday?

Remove the FunWebProducts and any other Browser Hijackers from your Computer.

Delete your Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.

Define your Online Settings

Use the Firefox Browser instead of IE8.

to figure out if my situation was mental, emotional, nutritional or due to a medical condition. It's about time Shrinks figure out and recognize that medical and nutritional Issues should always be checked before dispensing amphetamine-based Drugs which often make Things far worse, dulling the Senses in the Process. Its one Thing to treat a Condition, another to make someone oblivious to it. He also said that most docs are too quick to hand out anti-depressants like candy as soon as they spot any sign of anxiety or depression & that probably half the people taking anti-depressants or sitting in psych wards, are just suffering from nutritional deficiencies & can be helped by the right balance of vitamins for their bodies. It borders Criminality ... why this Profession along with their pharmaceuticals have not yet been entirely sued out of Existence is beyond me. If your General Practitioner would pull this reckless, inept and irresponsible Crap he'd be disbarred in a Flash. My sister had her kid go after her with a knife some 20 Years after he was put on Ritalin. The Shrink down-played the Incident and issued another irresponsible Prescription off the Cuff. A competent Doctor later discovered a Food Allergy and remedied the initial Problem instantly. This is playing with People's Lives and sometimes I wonder what is worse for your Health: The Condition or the Shrink. Good to hear you are doing well again !!!

Treat photos like any other attachment.

Nada. Not here. Every Image uploaded is Site JPG recompressed which makes it impossible for any payload to get through.

it would be nice if there were an option to send all messages out to my own e-mail account so that I could manage an archive of my communications in my own mailbox.

Part of Site Security is the Fact that you cannot do that.

smoking vs non-smoking?

So when you search and you have your profile set as a smoker, then if a non-smoking user has restricted contact fom smokers they will now show up in your searchs.

They should not show up in most of your Searches affected by Mail Settings, such as the Basic Search and my My Matches.

Yes, but by Algorythm only. 18,000,000 Users cannot be manually administered.

Since IE7 is rather easily hiJacked, I suggest you use a more secure Browser such as Firefox. Although I can't see at this end if and what Type of Malware you have running on your Machine, I would suggest you do a thorough Scan.

Also, make sure "Remote Assistance" is not enabled in Windows and you have a good Firewall running. Likewise disable Network Services such as "Microsoft Network" and "File Sharing" if you don't need them. Further, don't surf the Internet in Administrator Mode, but create a User Profile for that.

If after following Moderator "Trappedonbayst" Instructions you still get the same Problem, then the next Issue may lie with the unsolicited mailing of Plain Text Passwords.

s there any way that POF could use hyperlinks for smoking and non-smoking in profiles like those for interests? It's rather frustrating to read a profile of someone who looks like a good potential match, then have them say at the very end that they are allergic to tobacco smoke.

That's already implemented via the Mail Settings.

If you are a Smoker, and any given non-smoking User has restricted Contact, then they will not show up in your Searches. Unfortunately some people do not properly enable these Settings, but leave a Note in the About Me Form Field, but will not get filtered out. Adding Links would also only be as good as a User enabling these Settings.

If your Edit Profile indicates you are a Smoker, then all Users in your Online My State will be Smokers too.

Best yet, use the Advanced Search for even better Search Criterias.

Boy, you people have attitude on here.

Who is 'You people'? If that was the Case, this Thread'd be outta here for the mere Incinuation that we are doing anything other than permit other Users to get a reasonably good Representation of yourself.

I have had emails telling me my photo is unclear. It was done at a studio 10/30/09 and uploaded from a CD. Why then is it not clear on this site, but it is on others? When I look at it on my profile, it appear clear so why is it not clear to others?

Your Picture is good, but not perfect. If you look at the Pics on my Profile you'll notice they are very clear, and since most people do not have the same Issue you have, we can safely assume there is something else happening at your end.

I have no Idea what is on your Disk.

I would apprecite an answer not a reference point.

Your Answers come in the Form of Links if possible, since the samething does not need to be re-written again and again.

Not Viewed does not have the extended Criterias of either the Basic or Advanced Search.

It's basically only qualified by some of your Mail Settings, and does not draw on Data from your Edit Profile like the Search Features do,

but the same one the Viewed Me Feature uses, namely your Online Settings

I tried to delete someone's double post using "double post" as a reason, and it doesn't allow me to do it.

That's actually a reporting Function that is not being attended to, so don't bother with that.

I copy mine to the hard drive, they play fine from there. After burning them to DVD, they play choppy, the video is behind the audio. 1. Slow Optical Reader. 2. Poor Quality Media.

In 2 different Places?

When I go back to see if it took the field is blank.

Make sure its a valid E-Mail Address, no spelling Mistakes, missing "@", etc.

Thereafter you should start seeing Users from across your Country.

Reading through some posts on the forum, I'm wondering if the fact that I included a link to a (perfectly innocent) YouTube video may have caused this.

If this is the case, would the entire message have just silently disappeared as I experienced?

It may get filtered and then disappears ... no longer exists.

No. You cannot find Hidden Profiles using any of the Search Functions on Site.

What it means is that you have

logged into your E-Mail and he supposedly has Mail Settings Restrictions that exclude contact from you, and your Message probably will not go through. Since you have already messaged each other, these Restrictions would not apply, but would for Users who have had no prior Contact with him.

Another Reason for failing to show in Searches are incorrect Postal Codes, misspelled Towns and Cities, if they exist at all, and sometimes yet other Profile Settings.

I search by username, but not if I just do a search.

User Searches, as well as searches conducted while

E-Mail Logged out are not Subject to Mail Setting Restrictions.

Go into your < Control Panel > to "Add & Remove".

Locate »» eSobi and uninstall.

If it asks you if you would like to remove any Applications it depends on, select "No".

Reboot.

I did as you suggested and not everything is back to normal.

You haven't installed the Firefox Browser yet.

You know the NIKE slogan ... JUST DO IT !!!

No matter how I type these (with or without spaces between), lower case, upper case, I get the following message: "You must enter the BLUE letters from the picture into the empty box, to prove you are human and not a spammer."

Delete Cookies & temp Internet Files.

Update your Firefox Browser ... its nearly ancient.

Then do a reboot and try again.

Dude Do NOT TRY UBUNTU AT ALL. I have Ubuntu and its a nightmare. My first problem I had was just installing it. I had 2 harddrives I put it on one Hard drive. And it wouldnt boot. After 3 hours I realised I had to change the boot order of my harddrives for it just to work. Like OMFG Then try and emulate some programs using something called WINE . Is so FAIL nothing works I hate Ubuntu its so horrid to use unless you have a high tech skill. Programs like ventrilo do not even work. There is no linux ventirlo. Meh its just a nightmare. I recommend commiting suicide before using it. Its truely that bad. This cannot be overemphasized. Is so FAIL nothing works I hate Ubuntu its so horrid to use unless you have a high tech skill. I have never ever in my Life ever wasted more Time trying to set up any flavour of Linux than even the worst Headache with Windows. Furthermore, every imaginable Piece of Software is grossly inferior compared to what is available for Windows, endless Harrassments for a Variety of Permissions, Hardwares that do not function properly, psychotic Directory Structures, Bootloader Issues, Solutions which require Tons of Code only God knows what it is pasted into Terminal Windows instead of checkboxing Settings, ad infinitum. I don't think I ever got done fixing the endless Plethora of Bugs that presented themselves. What a beautiful Swan Song is presented here about Linux ... any ordinary User should actually go to any of the Linux Forums and read up on all the Bugs people are having, and esp. those Threads that go unanswered for Weeks if not Months and see if that all makes any sense to you. If it does, then by all Means install it. If you have 1,000's of Hours to commit for a Linux Learning Curve Hobby, then by all Means go for it. Better than 70% of Clients at one Time requested Linux be removed after only 1 Week from their Computers and Windows re-installed even when Linux seemed to be working fine. It'll be at least another Decade before it even remotely approximates the Status of "User Friendly".

What Program? You running an Acer Computer?

Delete your Cookies and temporary Internet Files and re-boot your Machine.

Make a Bookmark to http://www.plentyoffish.com/ and you should end up on the Login Page of this Site.

If you still have Trouble after, then you have Browser HiJack on your Computer.

Lastly, get rid of Internet Explorer and use Firefox, Opera or whatever Browser without these gaping Malware Holes.

The Moment she adds you to her Favourites, you can message her.

Although Mail Settings are waived, many Contact Restrictions are not.

This is a brand new Account, not even a Day old. Some Users have been known to delete their existing Profile and within minutes have re-created another one with the same User Name, and all Mail Settings would now apply to the newer Profile.

The most common Scenario that comes to mind is that she E-Mail Blocked you instantly after the first Reply, leaving no copy of your E-Mail in your Sent Msg/Outbox, and were given the "not what they are looking for" after the second Attempt to message her. That however is "generally" an Auto-Response to a Mail Setting, not an E-Mail Block.

She does not have the "Must not "have" messaged User for Intimate Encounters" Filter enabled, so that eliminates yet another Possibility in respect to new Accounts.

Mind you, if you sent a first sexual content Message to some IE User, the Filter may let that go through, whereas those with other Profile Settings would get auto-blocked.

Nevertheless, although your Messaging Content itself may also be a Factor, "not what they are looking for" is not a Response to Spam, Scam or Profanity Filters.

And still, if you have tried to send the same Message to more than (4) Users on any given Day, you'd also be restricted from sending them through, whether Mail Settings are off or not. That's another Filter altogether.

From your Profile: Im a well endowed man more than most ...

I'd go with Door #2, Bob ... you likely got the E-mail Block on the second Run.

There is no Mail Server which holds any Messages which you can then opt to download.

All Mail goes straight from that User to you, it doesn't go anywhere else.

Then hit forward then press send again for it to go through ... anyone know whats up ?

You got logged out of your E-Mail earlier. The first Time you hit "Sent" you got logged back in, the second Time the Mail was sent off.

Can't speak for Nero Lite, but I have never had a Coaster using the 9x Premium Edition, even with cheap CD-R/DVD-R & DL Disks. It's a touch on the bloaty side but does a superb Job preventing other Applications on your computer to screw up the burning process while still allowing them to function properly. Manages Duo/Quad Core CPUs extremely well. Even while copying big-a$$'d Files in Windows, Nero will properly gear down the burning speed down to under 1x without producing a Coaster. Nero 6/7/8 were good too, but not this good. Try this with Imageburn, Ultra-ISO or CDRwin .... good luck !

I can get some e-mails from some "MEN" and not BOYS that are over 20 years old.

They're targeting Cougars.

Keep your Eye on your "My Matches" Notifications from this Point on, then let me know if you still have an Issue with it.

I have Norton and McAfee. Why haven't these two stopped these things?

Because it registers itself as a Program, often bundled with Smilies, Toolbars, Small Games and other Hocus-Pocus you are so thrilled to download, and installs itself alongside without your Knowledge. Since People rarely read the Licence Agreement, they won't know. Because your Consent to install was received, your A/V Programs generally leave them alone ... but not always, and thus Lawsuits between A/V and Pro-Malware Companies come into being, where Millions are wasted on legal Fees.

Kasperskys for Instance will leave it alone, whereas Symantec Norton Corp. A/V (not to be confused with Norton Anti-Virus) will rip out Malware because Business won't tolerate these Security Breaches on their Machines.

For the same Reason I rarely see these Types of Malwares under Firefox.

Installing and running the Firefox Browser is a "No-Brainer".

Theory not required, just do it in the Sequence pointed out in my previous Post !!!

Delete Cookies & Temporary Internet Files too.

Change your POF Password.

And if they are your "My Matches" Notifications, double-check if they are actually from POF or simply Spoofs.

Remove the FunWebProducts Malware and other Browser HiJackers from your Computer.

Get off IE8, and use the Firefox Browser.
