Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud
Posted: 11/20/2005 7:40:03 AM |  I have found with dating sites they tell you it is free to use and then when you sign up and fill your profile out and log in to use it you find you get taken to a payment page for subscription!!! Why are they allowed to do this??? I can understand that sites like faceparty have certain things that you can pay for if you wanted them but you can still message people for free but you have a limit on the messages you can get in one day. I find that ok and people accept it and alot of fun is had, but you do get scammers on sites and when you report them nothing seems to get done about it. The worst thing about it is that they log in with a new profile and do the same stuff over and over again and never get caught as you do not have to fill out personal information or have an address checked to see if it is a true address. I have been targetted by too many people and it would be nice to get some HONESTY on these sites for once. If you ask for idea's no doubt people will help out and give you their views on how they would like to see things better protected on internet sites!!!!
