WHY WON'T HE JUST GIVE UP?
Posted:
11/16/2009 11:31:11 AM
So here is the thing, I have a guy friend that I started hanging out with just as friends, i find him cool and he cracks me up and we just kinda hit it off, to me he is like the brother I never had. Soooo anyway he started texting me a lot and I kinda figured his intentions were a little more than mine so I kinda told him it was never going to happen and I didn't see him that way. He is the type of guy that is ok as a friend but nothing more, and No it's not because he is a nice guy, he is sleazy when it comes to girls and sleeps with quite a few different girls at the same time, not boyfriend material. Point I am getting at is he won't give up, now when we hang out he tries sitting close to me and now it is just not the same and he seems to be happier that I know that he likes me, he keeps complaining about guys I start talking to and I literally had to push him off me when we watching a movie with some other friends, it's getting awkward and I am pissed off that this guy is no longer satisfied with just being my friend, it is coming to the point where I don't even call or text him back because I don't want to deal with his clinginess even though I have specified to him over and over, I'm not into him and he just tells me I am playing hard to get WTF is wrong with guys like that? I don't get it. You like a guy, they pretty much reject you if you emit any sort of attraction, the minute you are cold and unavailable they are allover you and won't stop

Pork chops w/gravey

I have found the best for this is to use boneless pork chops and fry them first in a little olive oil and bake with your own homemade cream of mushroom soup and add two tablespoons of china lily soya sauce for about 10 - 12 pork chops

ladies, whats the kind of cologne/aftershave do you like best
Posted:

The cologne that always made me weak in the knees was Farenheit, although it could have just been the boy wearing it ;p
I like the smell of a man who is just out of the shower and uses great quality hair wash and body wash but leave the cologne alone I love the smell of a natural man

I spray on Pure seduction body spray after I have a shower and love spell body lotion and strawberry splash all from the body shop, the mix is kind of my signature scent, as for my hair I use shampoos and conditioners from the salon that always smell fruity and yummy and finish it off with alterna hemp shine spray that smells so damn good I want to eat myself ;p As for perfume , I think that would just overdo it!

I gave my girl an orgasm..... through her nipple?

Hey, guess what the most IMPORTANT sex organ in a woman's body is?
The brain.
Stimulate her properly and you can "give" her an orgasm through her knee cap. ;)

dry them and spray with clear acrylic paint before they crumble and put in a square vase
use a flour water base ( paper mache) while leaves are still moist and attach to a vase in a mosaic fashion and let dry voila a pretty vase
Good luck just use your imagination :D

any quentin tarantino movie usually has a wicked soundtrack to accompany it. I really liked the soundtrack for Zack and Miri make a porno it's got some wicked songs on there. Dazed and Confused is kickass, gone in 60 seconds, fight club, I'm sure there are more that I really liked but usually just d/l songs not whole soundtracks

widow needs advice on custody issue

Good Luck to you OP, and don't listen to the judgments of the almighty forum posters. We all make mistakes and decisions in our life that might not always be the best, but if we focus on the past it muddles the present and future. I can see a lot of unhappy people on this thread willing to throw the first stone. I think people should worry more about their backyards instead of everyone else's IMO especially when they are in their 30's and 40's come on, it's time to learn humility and empathy a little bit. I am not familiar with the law in the states, but look on the internet, do some cold calls to different organizations that deal with this type of situation. I do wish the best for your daughter and you and pray for a happy reunion.

Why would a woman ruin a marriage and break up a family?

Don't be a sucker; she's a whore who has no appreciation or respect for marriage and her family. If she was not happy she should have just left you without trying to hurt you as well if she was any kind of decent and caring woman. sorry but that is how I see it.

I think it makes my kitty look sexy . If I did decide to just grow it all back I would feel like a neanderthal but that's just me :D I have not had any complaints thus far

How come single mothers don't want single fathers
Posted:
9/25/2009 12:51:24 PM
I can't have any more children, I've accepted that and I am gracious to have the two that I have and a part of me did not want children from different fathers so I think a single dad would be perfect for me as it would fill my house with more children and someone who would understand the daily dealings of being a single parent. Doesn't every single Mom dream of the Brady Bunch kind of life?? Alice can come too

when you found out that your child has ADHD how did u handle it and what steps did u take
Posted:
9/24/2009 7:39:13 AM
ADD and ADHD is the MOST OVER-diagnosed and MIS-diagnosed childhood malady around today.
ADHD is the excuse for a bad school system
ADHD is the excuse for bad teaching that makes for bored kids.
ADHD is the excuse for bad parents who arent or wont spend the TIME with their kids
ADHD CAN be a diagnosis for what is actually food allergies.
Get 6 opinions before you accept the diagnosis..
Do NOT go straight to drugs to treat it.. make that the LAST resort.. check all other possibilities first including behavior modification therapy.
And finally I just have to say this.. You spend a LOT of time here online posting and interacting on this site and these forums. You CANT be giving your child the ATTENTION that apparently he/she LONGS for, and type on a computer at the same time.
Do an experiment.. Shut OFF your computer for a MONTH.. Spend ALL that time you save WITH your kid doing activities, teaching, listening, etc etc.. and see if that alleged "disorder" just seems to quiet down. You have over 50 posts on here in less than 2 weeks. Reading the original posts then forming and typing a comment just HAS to be taking up a LOT of time.. probably over 100 hours in just under TWO WEEKS.
I wonder what the SUPPOSED Adhd kid would be acting like if he/she HAD those 100 hours DEVOTED to their attention-DEPRIVED needs. Hmmmmm
Just a thought
My thoughts exactly, when my son started Grade 1 this year, he was having a difficult time adjusting to the routine and testing his teacher's limits, she called me and asked me if I had him tested for ADHD, I told her to wait at least til he was in school for a month to see if it continued as he was not like this at home or other environments, she kept insisting he was showing signs of ADHD, I smiled and again told her that I would not be accepting her diagnosis to ring true and to look at other avenues. It is a jumped on diagnosis, if a kid sits and stares at a TV and doesn't listen to you when you talk to him/her, it has got to be ADHD not your parenting skills. I am not saying that it doesn't exist, but seriously every kid and their dog has ADHD nowadays, it's like the common cold, and anyone can diagnosis it nowadays from school teachers to councellors to the hockey coach. I believe that there are so many other options before medicating, it's worth trying to change diet and to promote a healthy lifestyle of daily exercise and wholesome food and stimulating activity. All kids should get that regardless of ADHD or not though, don't you think?

Please? I need some advice, this is waaay beyond ok!
Posted:
9/23/2009 2:28:53 PM
That is not acceptable behaviour of her at all, I am in a similar situation almost exact actually and this is how I handle it.
1. Their father is to spend time with them away from his current until she can learn to behave appropriately .
2. She is to have no contact with them via telephone, coming to our house with their Dad, etc. She is out of their life until further notice.
3. If she has a problem with either 1 or 2 she can take it up with me as I am her size, the kids' are not.
Now I know this may seem difficult and it puts a strain on things, but it is necessary to protect them for abusive behaviour. You need to communicate with your child's father, and communicate with her as well. You show her who's boss when it comes to your baby.
Good Luck!

It's simple your profile picture is blurry and you can't even make out your image, it looks as though you are trying to hide something maybe, I don't really know but that is what is coming off to me. Maybe take a look at your messages that you are sending out, and have a little patience. People say it is harder for Men then it is for Women on dating sites.

TRANSFORMERS - MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE

Thanks and he has his transformer voice pretty down pat, when I took him to the second movie we were in line for popcorn and he kept doing it and people in line were getting a kick out of it, and kids were trying to copy him. When he was smaller, we would go for a walk and if he seen a "transformer" car he would be convinced it was going to transform at any minute and he would start telling me to run. I love the idea of the R2D2 costume, maybe when he gets into Star wars that would be an idea; sounds like your parents were just as enthusiastic :D I might post a picture on here after Halloween as it won't show his face. I was thinking that I would somehow make it a backpack type for the top of the car so when he gets up it can stay on him, a little over a month til Halloween so exciting

TRANSFORMERS - MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE

Halloween is my favorite holiday with the kids, I love baking scary food and making the house all scary, watching 80's horror flicks and putting real effort into their costumes, it's only once a year. I finished my Daughter's costume already she is going as a 2009 Halloween Edition Zombie Barbie in a Barbie box. I always ask my kids if they want to kind of match or be a theme together, they love it so far. This year's theme ofcourse is Toys. Last year, my Daughter was the Corpse Bride alongside his Jack Skellington. They are going to look back at his and remember things like this growing up or think back and think their Mommy was a real nerd

TRANSFORMERS - MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Posted:
9/17/2009 7:42:27 AM
Okay boys the topic is Transformers, my six year old son wants to be a Transformer this Halloween and ofcourse this doesn't entail going into a store and buying a costume, I find them tacky and cheap. Last year, he was Jack Skellington, I made the head out of paper mache and paint and acrylic spray, and sewed him a little tuxedo suit with a bat bowtie, he won the costume contest, so I am for sure making costumes every year, now my question(s) are:
1. Original Bumblebee or newer version, I am having a troubling decision, I am an original Transformer fan and I think it would be cool to have him transform from the Beetle to Bumblebee, maybe that's just me or should I just go with the camaro to Bumblebee which he is familair with?
2. How does one make this costume transform, I have been on Youtube and there are some great ones and some crappy ones, any ideas? anyone do this before? I have lots of cardboard boxes I have been collecting, RC tires, camping padding, glue gun, exacto knife and duct tape. Do I need anything else?
3. What is the best paint to go on these types of materials? Do I need a sealer to go on after I am finished painting it?
I really do appreciate any input or ideas as I am a bit lost, as for the head gear, there is this Bumblebee Voice mixer headgear at the store that I think I might just cheat and get if the quality is there.
Thank you in advance xoxo

Do you prefer a challenge or someone who is up front and straight forward?
Posted:
9/16/2009 1:29:43 PM
So what some you are saying is if you called your guy ( meaning you already have a relationship etc) and he picked up every time you called or texted you right back and you knew what he was doing 24/7 because well.... he told you, you are telling me that would be fun and keep your interest ????????? Liars. When we say mystery ofcourse we don't mean a hidden marriage I mean going out for dinner and then you find yourself at a concert instead. just an example, but you get the idea. It has nothing to do with games, it has everything to do with being spontaneous and having fun with each other, keeping each other on your toes so that you don't fall into that drudgery of the same old boring shit day after day. Yes guys should be straightforward about how they feel about you in the early stages and beyond but keep that fire burning ;p

I find myself being more attracted to a challenge, but don't get me wrong not someone I have to chase as that gets played out real quick. I don't like games like being coy and beating around the bush, Being straight up and honest is great, but don't be so available to me is all. Let me know I am not putting effort into nothing.

What is with all the cats?
Posted:
9/15/2009 4:14:47 PM
No, no, no, you got it all wrong, if you read my whole original post you would have noticed that I said that I have a cat, I like cats because they are low maintenance and I like the sound they make when they purr. I guess what I am asking is why the pictures of cuddling your cat with captions like, " and this is my baby, if you can compete with Pookie's (or another ridiculous name) love, you can have me or user names like Benspurr LOL I'm wondering why there is a need to have pictures of cats, cat houses, and litter boxes, I get it you like the **** ;p hahaha I am getting a good laugh at all the replies who feel the necessity to defend their love of ****. Don't get sand in your Vjj's and carefully take out your tampon and answer this: Does anyone find it a little bit of a turn-off to see this with such emphasis on guy's profiles? No? ok then, must just be me. I don't hate on anyone that has a cat, like I said ... I have one but I just don't get the need to splash her all over my profile. ;D and for the Cat-ladies, we all know you love cats, and your need to have Snookums all over your profile, I was asking why guys do this. What is with all the cats?
Posted:

Call me a cat- hater I don't really care, but what I am wondering about is lately I have been noticing a lot of cats on POF, what I mean is they are infesting pictures on guy's profiles. I don't know how they are getting in their pictures, but there they are all over the place. They are even taking up whole pictures all by themselves on little cat jungle gyms and litter boxes WTF is going on? did I miss something? these cats are even showing up on guy's laps and snuggling up in bed with them. Please don't tell me that these cats are meant to be there? or that some guys have become "cat-mannies".
I discussed this with my sister and she told me a story about one of her ex-boyfriends that had pictures of his cats on his bedroom dresser WTF I'm sorry I mean be nice to cats by all means, I even have one ... well I think she is still there, she roams all over the goddamn place, but seriously have pictures of her hell no, WTF this is so troubling to me and I don't even know why, but it instantly turns me off when I see this happening on Guy profiles...please I need an explanation other than I love my cat blah blah blah she is a part of my family (that one's my favorite) but seriously please explain the necessary inclinations to let your cat infest your profile and take up whole pictures when you only have 8 for yourself. LOL

would you cut a single parent slack for having a messy house?
Posted:
9/15/2009 12:38:31 PM
NO, messy people are messy if you want to give them slack for that, I am a single parent with 2 kids and 2 jobs, my house is not messy, in fact it's very clean. I have trained my kids at an early age to clean up after themselves and that's the way it is. Cleaning your house is like cleaning your teeth, it is one of those routines that are done a couple of times a day. Some people are just lazy and sit on the couch all night after coming home from work without taking the 15 minutes to half hour it should take to tidy up after home activities such as supper or homework or bathtime.

Cheating- can you forgive?
Posted:
9/15/2009 12:20:47 PM
First time he/she is the dummy, second time you're the dummy, third time well I would really hope that you would seek professional help.. dummy. I forgave someone for cheating, he didn't try to hide it or lie to me about it so I forgave him and thought we could get over it, he never did it again, but I tell ya I sure thought he did ... everytime he went out. Our relationship finally had to end because I just could't trust him, and believe me I tried to. When someone does that to you, it takes a toll on you emotionally and physically ... does intimacy change after something like that? you bet it does. What is the point of even troubling yourself to forgive and forget and try to move on when what you should be doing is forgiving, not forgetting and moving on without him or her, and hope that it doesn't affect how you handle any future relationships.

10 things I hate about you.
Posted:
9/14/2009 1:14:54 PM
I hate:
1. how you run your fingers through my hair which makes me think you care
2. when you look into my eyes and smile and carress my body so tenderly
3. how you broke down all my walls and then caused me to bawl
4. how you held me so tight in your arms and whispered sweet nothings and made me feel so warm
5. the way I put my whole trust in you without even a thought you would hurt me like you did
6. how you risked giving me STD's and didn't think I would mind having to go get checked after being in a long term relationship, that was fun.
7. how you won't stop calling and texting me even after you broke my heart, and showing up at my house and telling me how much you ****ed up.
8. how you send I love you texts to me, and three other numbers, that is always nice and leaves a fuzzy warm feeling inside.
9. how you won't let me just be and give me time to heal
10. Most of all, I hate the way I am still bound to you, and still love you after all that I hate about you. It is although starting to get a little easier when I focus on what you did and how truly uncommitted you really were

So what you are telling me is in order to find a nice guy, he should not be hot? oh great LOL I don't agree at all, this whole thread is ridiculous and stupid. Hot people are mean? stereotype much? I've seen some pretty ugly people be complete ****s too so I don't think it matters about their physical appearance seriously dumb thread.

Why do Men Lead Women On?
Posted:

I met a wonderful man on POF. One of those men that are too good to be true, you know great personality, handsome, tall, beautiful eyes.... need I go on?
No you didn't, you met a facade of what you wanted to see in someone.
We dated for a month and it seemed all we could do was talk, laugh and smile at each other all the time. Just perfect together! Things were great!
We had made plans every weekend to spend it with each other at my house.
Are you telling me that in one month of weekend time you expected more from him?
I just had a feeling that this guy was too good to be true and he was! I' m sure he thought so too! He is on the site all the time now, so I'm sure he found someone else and didn't know how to tell me.
Ever think that having this attitude is a turnoff?

Calling all foreign film enthusiasts

a Few that were not mentioned that are by far my favorite from subtitled and/or foreign:
The Orphanage - italian
Pan's Labrynth - Spain
Schindler's List
and Slumdog millionaire but I'm almost positive everyone has seen that one
and loved loved loved Life is Beautiful, it took my breath away and started my own facination with foreign films.
and I almost forgot to mention any thriller usually has a Japanese version that it was derived from ie: Teh Grudge = Ju-on way more scarier in Japan versions

Do different positions mean anything on emotional levels?

Anywhere from "Oh crap, she has a bush with little white berries growing out of the crack of her ass, let's get out of doggie style or I'm going to be sick,"
to,
Please don't tell me you kept f ucking her with an ass like that
"I don't really want to have sex, but I feel it is expected of me, and I am scared, I have no idea what she is thinking right now. I wonder if she thinks I am too fat. She probably wants me just for sex, why do I always get used to fulfill their expectations of men always wanting sex? It's not fair. I feel myself going limp, so let's switch to oral or spooning, maybe it will come back in a minute if we bond for a bit,"
to,
OMG lol do guys really think that much?
"OMG I don't think she bathed this week, lets put her on top to cap the smell flow or go to doggie or spooning to end this or get as far away from that odor as quickly as possible without hurting her feelings, because if I call her on it now it's probably going to be traumatic,"
to,
This proves my point that guys will f uck anybody even a bowl of porridge if there was enough resistance LOL
"I really just want to go to sleep, but if I don't have sex then I think she may see me as less than a 'man' as men are supposed to always want sex. So let's put her in cowgirl and make her do all the work,"
I already do ;p
What would you have said, or how good for the relationship would it be, if he simply said "I like missionary the best, because it feels good and doesn't require nearly as much energy or effort."
Vanilla icecream anybody?

Do different positions mean anything on emotional levels?

missionary is my only "emotional" position...but like...i don't know you're asking a weird question. We only have emotions during sex if it's a "making love" type of deal....but if its just sex...there is no emotions...just pleasure lol
It's not a wierd question, I guess I should have put more depth into it, it was in regard to making love" ofcourse there is no emotions when you are just f ucking, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but you half answered my question anyway when you said Missionary is my only "emotional" position, thank you ;p
positions and emotions arent linked, its what feels nice and fits the moment
So you are telling me that emotions are not linked to positions? okay I get that, it's just that say Missionary I have never had in a one-night-stand kind of deal, I was just wondering if it was more to it than just what feels nice and fits the moment, I mean I've heard that apple pie feels nice too and fits just right ;p
it never ceases to amaze me what women can attach some emotional meaning to!
Seriously? it's proven that women are more emotional than men, well some men, this of all things should not "cease to amaze you" I mean, there are certain things I will not do with a random that I only save for someone special to me or that I am emotionally attracted to, don't you agree? grunt if it's a yes ;p
Face down azzes up, thatz the way we like to f ** k.
Don't worry we like it too ;p as long as you let us up for air hehe
And ladies, if we happen to want to bend U over the kitchen table once in awhile, it doesnt mean we dont wuv U. Just means f'ing right, that can be hot.
see there you have it, males thinking we don't like it when our guy takes control like that , but some things are meant for someone you are comfortable with, am I right? or am I having trouble understanding men at all? I mean I wouldn't let just anybody bend me anywhere in my house ... I would at least have to catch his first name ;p
Well, I for one, concur with your boyfriend with regards to missionary;.
I did concur with him about it, he volunteered the information which is why I used it as my example in my first post lol
I know a lot of women like doggie style and reverse cowgirl for the physical pleasure it gives them
For sure, I'm not saying missionary is my favorite position at all, I'm a doggie lover ;D all Women are different though

Do different positions mean anything on emotional levels?

I am wondering if to guys there is a reason they prefer different positions, I mean we all know if a girl gets the lights turned off on them, it means they are not the most attractive ;p but what I am wondering is if for example: My boyfriend told me he preferred missionary with me because it was more personal and he liked kissing me and looking at me while we were having sex. So the basic positions in question are:
Missionary
Doggie-style
Cowgirl
Reverse Cowgirl
Spooning
69
What do some of these positions mean on an emotional level, and do you prefer certain position(s) depending on your connection, level of attraction and comfort with the woman you are with? Feel free to add any additional information in regard to this question
Thank you in advance

Is being added as a favorite an invitation to e-mail?
Posted:

YES..... that is my main reason to add guys as favorites because I liked their profile and hoped that they would send me an email, simply because I am too stubborn to send the first one. I don't understand why they would not reply though, I can't answer that one for you sorry :D

Just from reading your profile, you come off as a typical Sagittarius and that is a good thing :D You are sexy, outgoing, charismatic, and you take care of yourself. I didn't see anything wrong with your profile and I liked your honesty, I mean really how would anyone know you didn't have a car? and really who cares. I would ease up on the "how much you like to party" but that's just me, I would focus more on your other extracurricular activities, I mean everyone likes to kick back and have some drinks, but it appears as though that is your main activity. Damn if I lived in Toronto, I would be hitting on you mad. ;p Good Luck and feel free to bash my profile

What kind of replies do guys expect?
Posted:

Happy Fishing or Good Luck sounds more cruel to me than Not Interested. Straight forward answer is better than an answer with a twist.
Really? I never thought of it in those terms, it makes sense
He's excited! He opens the first one. Ugh, rejection. He opens the second one. Rejection again
That is a terrible scenerio, I would hope that would not really happen. :( but isn't it better than logging on day after day with no mail at all? I don't know which one would be better
the fact that you wonder if not replying is cruel or mean is a good thing because it suggests to me that you are mindful of other people's feelings.
I would only expect the same, I think the phrase " Do onto others as you would like done unto you" is a wise suggestion, simple but wise.
"Thanks but I don't think we'd be a good fit" kind of deal. Being upfront and honest about not seeing a relationship/interest is the best way.
I like that one, I think I will use that or something along the same lines.

Is it obvious if I reply to you after you have emailed me: Happy Fishing or Good Luck on the site , that I am not interested? I thought it was a polite way of saying Not interested instead of coming right out and saying Not interested. I don't know, Guys what kind of replies would you accept as Not interested that are not in any way cruel or mean, but that you would take the hint and not keep messaging someone? or is it just better to ignore the mail and delete? I would expect that people would like at least a reply instead of ignoring it altogether, but some guys won't stop messaging me and won't give it up. Some are messaging me things like: " What you are so great that I am not good enough for you" wow what the hell does a person say to that, talk about awkward.
